@gidgethartis actually, smoking is not explicitly forbidden in the Quran, and smoking varies from culture to culture. Where he is from, in Egypt, lots of people smoke. It is not seen as haram, because the Quran doesn’t explicitly mention it. Smoking being haram is a contemporary thing and hotly debated

The way Nicole handles her husband is DISGUSTING. I'm getting major Angela Deem vibes from her. First she manipulates her friends to see her as the victim. Kobe should have told his friends to stop being disrespectful to his wife. My husband is African and would not tolerate this behavior from anyone, especially his friends. Not sure if this is just for the tv show, but what they are showing isn’t the way it is.

@@iStorm-my5fp Given the context of existing in the world and the general responsibility of adults to research and ask questions before making such deep commitments, I don't expect that she would know everything or even half but I do expect that she would understand what religious conservatives are, that she would at least be generally aware of Muslim values, and that at LEAST she would have looked into these things seriously before converting.
