Honestly speaking, so far I've managed to only watch the first episode towards the intro song because when I was watching it I started laughing at the deadpan dead eyes expression of Rosemary as she was going away on the cart waving goodbyes to her family that I just could not continue watching further
The only correction I’d make to this video is the title, no review of anything is too late! My favorite part (aside from the editing, which was incredible throughout) was how you explain what a first episode should be and then compare it to Avatar’s first episode! It really added depth to your point. If there’s anything great that came out of this show, it’s giving smaller channels the attention they deserve!
You made it farther than me. The First episode was too much of a grind for me. Am grateful for all the RUclipsrs making videos on this that I do not ever need to watch the series in its entirety.
But they were on a budget that didn't allow them to check their work and not unionized and CrunchyRoll kept changing what the show was meant to be and gave a voice to the trans community while not making it look like Caraway was grooming Snapdragon. For those who cannot see it, that was sarcasm. This show is more positive in how people went about it's criticism and got people talking for it is the go to and be all of "how not to make a show". On that note I don't like the show for wasting my time on pointless tell not show moments and the amount of dead air.
The fact that HGS feels like a copy of RWBY and somehow managed to do it worse than RWBY should be an accomplishment. It's there an award for staggering mediocrity?
