Looks like everyone will have to do a credit freeze. I've heard of parents doing this for their kids I guess to help keep them from turning 18 and finding their identity had been stolen and have bad credit.
It's wild that it's the same price as the 15 air with 16gb and 512 ssd. Like...the only advantage I see is the weight of the air and maybe the screen size but I can tell you, I have the 14" M1 Pro and I have already seen side by side comparison between 15 and 14 and it's really not that much off in size and weight. The Pro is a bit heavier of 3.5 vs 3.3 pounds but it's not noticeable. Plus you get a better screen, refresh rate, speakers, more ports, and many more...for the same price. I wish they lowered the air 15 a bit more, I would have got it for $1100 lol.
Apple may be anticipating some demand for M4s. Perhaps the earliest M1 buyers are now getting upgrade-curious. I ordered my base Mini the day of the OG Apple Silicon event. It's still a banger but I want to fully explore AI and get a noticeable boost in performance and capability...just for fun. My Mini will still have a long-life as Video/Music Streaming "head Unit" in my living room.

im gonna wait for m3 pro to get within buy range hopefully, mainly cause my keybaord is 60% gone, bluetooth on magic keyboard sucks ass after one year passed my keyboard stoped working properly, thank fuck for my apple watch or else i could not unlock my mac at all, not even constantly reseting it and keeping it plunged will do much, yes it will work without issue plugged in but you will be spammed with notifications, i havent found a solution for that, so i either buy new god damn keyboard that will get fucked within a year, or i buy new macbook pro chip or new iphone if size increases alongside battery, right now any calls is abusurdly hard for me to make unless conditions meet, i recently brought my first car and this month i brought ac both on pay over time, adding more pay over time options will make it so difficult till i pay off debts, hope you're doing well man, im stressed and pissed thanks to issues.

$1500 MBP 14 18/512 or MBA 15 inch 16/512 @$1450? I have 220 gb to transfer over from 2015 MBP so idk if 512 will be enough. Prefer not to use USB hubs. 15 inch MBA m3 is ideal to avoid getting eyeglasses but IPS display & only 2 ports is antiquated...Sidenote. What do u think of repair tech, Louis Rossman, opinion that Apple intentionally makes laptops that will breakdown sooner than later...soldered ssd... limitations on right for consimer to repair devices?
It should be enough space but won't leave a huge amount. So only uses like 35 gb. You will need to decide on the MacBook Air or the MacBook pro. I would recommend going into the store and looking at them because there are two different form factors.
Waiting for a good sale on the new iPad Airs. Don’t expect it because it’s new. Re: education: You get a gift card but you buy it… it’s a strange gig.. they knock down the price by the cost of the gift card, you have to buy the gift card and you get to use it. But if you notice.. it’s an Apple gift card only good on Apple products and services. I pay for 2TB on iCloud… shared across the family for $10/mo. It’s worth it because my wife easily has 60GB of snapshots.

People get what they can afford , if you asking me that’s still to expensive . Apple trying to get the customers to pay 2000 for an old laptop . When they should cut that price in half . People are not buying laptops like cell phones every year or every other year . I just upgraded my Lap top I had for 10 years . All old laptops should be. Around 1000 dollars . Just like they do the cell phones . Now if you want more gigs of course charge them a little more but think about a new laptop or a computer desk top is usually a mode from 2 or 3 years ago . I barely see any body with the 2024 16 gig . I see ppl with 2018 2020 2022 that’s new to us .
@@SuperYoungpoet the airs are great machines and around 1k. They will last many years too. Yes apple are a bit more but they do last and have much better resale so you get like 50 percent back when you sell them every 4 to 5 years.

I seen a guy yesterday in a video who bought a refurbished MacBook it was an M2 with 16 gigs. He paid 1300 for the laptop.. He unboxed the computer and besides it being dirty and having a few wear and tear marks on the computer, it was in good shape and he was excited to save 100 bucks. Great video

Thanks. For me if I was only going to save 100 I might get the new one because if it's dirty then you just don't know what to expect down the line even if chances are it will be fine. But we are all different for sure and I do like videos like that too.
I moved to Apple from MS years ago, lately the issues and even crashes are disturbing. When I first started using MacOS I had zero crashes and few compatibility issues. The entire ecosystem is also much more complicated....It just works is no longer a catchphrase, sure it's way more feature rich than the Jobs era, but at a cost. And iOS is complicated too, settings are crazy, I get calls from family members a lot....never use to. Don't get me wrong it's still great, but I hate having the same settings in different locations, or do I change that on the watch? or do I change that on the app? I think Apple Intelligence will solve a LOT of that.
