Tchaykovski: "Haha, I don'tt know how violinist is going tto play this, boot he vil play, and he vil go maaaaad!" hahaha!
+MercedesKawasaki That's actually literally why he wrote this piece; to be unplayable. He wrote it after, believe it or not, a divorce from a three-week long marriage.
+Evan C. is that truth? awsome to know but I feel like he rougth this thinking in the feeling not in fingers hehe
+Eleno Molinas wrote*
the divorce part is true, but Tchaikovsky didn't write this to be unplayable. He actually asked violinist Iosef Kotek for advice on the solo part. Which Tchaikovsky needed as he was not a violinist.
Even Auer, who refused to play the concerto, didn't say it was unplayable, only impractical in some passages that were not suited to the instrument before he edited them.
Still, this seems to be one of the most difficult pieces for the violin.

It's incredible to think this concerto when it debuted was considered trash and shunned by many critics and is now one of the most famous violin concertos on every professional musician's repertoire.
This is my favourite version...The build up of the 6:30 in the orchestra climax is so good. The last violin note is sustained and clear, no other version is this clear
What about Heifetz’ recording
@@glorytofathersonandholyspirit also great
Truth
The score isnt even correct
Incredible. A gift from Tchaikovsky for all mankind forever . Thank you.
That is the strangest spelling of Tchaikovsky I've ever seen...
I think it's the German spelling
It's Dutch spelling.
Ming yang Yu the German spelling would be Tschaikowski
I thought I discovered a new violin concerto😂😂😂
???
>audio is Tchaikovsky arrangement
>score is Auer arrangement
6:31-6:40 gives it away
Lol damn those tenths
Yeah Auer puts some unnecessary stuff in there
Even the first scene of the video shows that is Auer's arrangement (Text from first scene: "par L. Auer")
This is one of the best versions I've ever heard.
Very supple, poetic, musical, tender.
You can hear the ballets in this.
I love the tuttis of this piece that's the highlight
I can hear the emotions and feelings of this piece
yes ikr!
You wrote both piece and song
@@takureido3122 oof sorry
@@takureido3122 my bad xf
It's a bit slower than most performances but played very accurately and precisely. Nothing wrong with slow and steady though!
i love the fast version so much....makes the hairs raise on my arm!!!!
Peter McGarry i love it slow i can really feel the notes makin me all buttery
"if you can play it slowly, you can play it quickly"
~sacrilegious boi..
OMG 1:57-2:10 is my favorite part. It's soooooo beautiful!! 😍
The version that you watch is not the same that you hear.
This, the Julia Fischer interpretation, and the David Oistrakh interpretation are my absolute favorites!
My favorite violin concerto of all
Wonderful version of the concerto!!!
The best of my little Tchai boy
Esecuzione perfetta, sia dal punto di vista tecnico che da quello prettamente artistico. Stupendo il violino.

Don't mind this. Just tagging for myself ✌️
I love Ishak Perlman playing this
I saw James Ehnes perform this live with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra last April and it was absolutely incredible. In terms of Violin Concertos, this piece is second only to Beethovens. And that's saying a lot. If you ever get the chance, go see this live. You won't regret it.
Yes I also love the Sibelius violin concerto and Prokofiev’s 2nd
Très beaux timbre excellent À++++++++
Thank you for blessing our ears!❤️
Pure heaven
que obra de arte!
pois é.
one of my favorites...
wonder why you always cut the first mov in two parts...
Амадей Моцарт Copyright? The A.I. may not detect it, now that it is another length, as a copyrighted work. Maybe also extra ad revenue? But I don't think henri monetizes his videos.
sono estasiato, bravo!
Best version :) Love the climax
❄ Serenity ❄ me too but I think I'd say there's like 3 climaxes
I'd also say that Tchaikovsky is the expert of climaxes
Thanks, this is a bonus for me
Violinist: Jue Yao..look in the discription
this make my day!😳 amazing!
Of course: 8:15
This section might be my favorite out of any other classical piece in existence. It really doesn't get any better than this.
Thanks for uploading!
lindo de mais!!!
violinist, Mark Lubotsky.
It's actually Jue Yao
Exactly, it's Mark lubotsky
Thank you for uploading this wonderful video
"Wrong arrangement" *sung to the subject tune of the piece*

RUclips is magical, I forgot the composer and title, so I just typed in "movement" and voila, I found it back
and here i thought i found a new concerto
Que triste es tener un stradivarius e interpretar de esta manera tan majestual obra maestra
The violinist is Mark Lubotsky
9:40 anyone 2019

Oof, that cadenza

6:39 would love to the other violin parts not just see pictures of Tchaikovsky anyway you can upload the score with all the other parts
usually people only care about the solo violin but you have a point
Who is the soloist ?
Pearlman maybe
By Itzhak Perlman!
This is what happens when you practice for 40 hours every day.
3:32
this version is by mayuko kamio not jue yao.
what performance is this? i love this version and how slow they take some of the sections. does anyone know who is playing?
oistrakh
Ahh yes the violin concerto. Made for only Paganini to play
5:31 sinding suite

Is this hard to play?
Not if you practice!

Who is the composer??
Tjaikovsky
Tchaikowsky
Or
Tchaikovsky
It is the composer that reminds me of Chai tea.
Maestro Theoretically i think the spelling depends on the language, technically the last one is right bc he was Russian, but the first one is French I think and the second one is German
by David Oristakh
Definitely not
Any chance of you doing the Elgar concerto with score?
why not full video????
I found it. It's the starwars song.
No
It's a pieceeeeee
It’s not from Star Wars
Huh?
let's agree this is played by lingling
Tchaikovsky*
He might be violinist once
Tsjaikovsky?
嗯哼
Omg 6:40
audio doesn't match completely with score
Bro wtf!? Who cuts the piece in half!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Imagine a composer making this in today's world of internet leaks and illegal downloads. Just wouldn't be the same would it. Mind you, the same could be said of The Beatles' or The Beach Boys' music, I guess.
Itzhak Perlman is king of this concerto (even though this isn't him). Go listen to him.
David Oistrakh is KING of this concerto! Vengerov's, Julia Fischer's interpretation also far better than Perlman's!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sorry that was hilarious....you should go into comedy...you really should...what a talent!
**
like si viste la imagen de tchaicovsky pelado
Also the soloist sounds like he is tired of playing this
CunninLynguists brought me here
?
Key and peel ?
Violinist? Itzak Perlman?
+Sergio Ariel Díaz Díaz I dont think so, perlmann plays with more blood. Also it certainly isnt mutter cause her violin sounds different. Julia Fischer also not cause she plays more clean imo. Those are the ones i can exclude. But who this really is i cannot say.
+MCMeru it could very well be Nicola benedetti.
wow the slowest beginning ive ever heard!
not Perlman or Hahn.
mizzothify mizzothifi What about Bell?
There are a lot of flaws in the sheet music on screen
+Keenan Peet They aren't flaws. It is an edition of Auer probably.
+HeatMusic Duo Oh ok thanks. I had a copy of this concerto and it looked different than the copy being displayed
I love this song. This was not my favorite interpretation though.
It's not a song! Call it a piece or a concerto, but please, NOT A SONG!!! arrrrghhhh
Jan Romaniewski made my day :-)))))))
+Jan Romaniewski It feels like r/grilledcheese all over again.
For clarification, if there is singing, it is a song. All songs are pieces of music; not all pieces of music are songs.
I am afraid we lost the fight against "songs".
why can't the orchestra keep up for god's sake
The orchestra sounds like they are tired of playing this
Too bad the whole thing is not here.
