this is the version of the leopold auer, julia fisher, joshua bell, isaac permal, etc they played the original version, heifetz played the version of Auer.
The violinist did a pretty good job, but I wouldn't compare him/her to Perlman because there are just some technical errors and some things are out of tune. Another thing I didn't like is how slow it is. I agree with MadViolinist on the tempo as it is quite slow compared to most other recordings, but it is still very beautiful.
Completely agree. However I found that some moments in the second movement were actually more beautiful than any other recording I've listened to! Cheers
@247videos247 That's not so hard, believe me. I mean mainly "Allegro giusto" section in the end of first movement. This violinist plays it like "Andante".
@delauge sorry, where do you hear notes completely out of tune? I don't understand. Is a beautiful interpretation! Can you post your videos playing this concert please? Thank you!
even "completely" ? and what does tempo mean? i think this recording is ok,the soloist has a good tuning and a very nice sound,i think he can be quietly compared with perlman or so.
@Teosax The soloist is often playing lower - it's not much but I can't listen it still. And for example 5:05 - 5:07 is horribly out of tune. I didn't want to be rude but I just don't understand why isn't used another (and better) recording.
Oh my god, this tempo is really SLOW, the soloist is often completely out of the tune ... and by the way, the score is not the same as the recording, this music sheet is easier than original.
I agree with what MadViolist said... If you can't hear that the violin is often playing lower than the orchestra, then you might be tone deaf. As for tempo, I prefer a faster one, but tempo is a subjective thing in music.
Masterful. *Ling Ling silently approves of this recording*
Ling Ling approved.
movement 2 begins at 5:54
Замечательное исполнение. Браво !
this is absolutely gorgeous, so 'sung', and not just played for bravura.
now i need to know who's playing!
Sounds great! I just think you have a different version of the sheet music than what is being played in the recording. For example at 4:22-4:32.

Heifetz auer version :)
😍🤩🥰💕🎻amo este concierto
Such a catchy tune.

It would be interesting to have marker to see where it is the music
Ah, Tsjaikovski, my favorite composer.
Tsjaikovski is so brilliant

Tempo is the speed of a piece
Oh no, nowhere near enough rallentando at the close for me. Other than that lovely

you really are mad, nuts...

Nah to me both are about the same.
This is so similar with paganini concerto no.1
Awful. Lifeless, flat and too slow. I'll stick to Heifetz.
