Those who don't have this car will comment negatively. The owners are very happy with WRV. Go through the WRv owner forums, all are happy. An excellent family car with good mileage. Only drawback is the hear headrest. Space is enormous , the competition will be smoked out. Build quality is excellent. If anyone wants to do racing, it's not the car. For decent driving, it's excellent in terms of refinement, NVH levels (Petrol)and suspension. My WRV completed 40000 Kms. Extremely satisfied.
I own the edge edition, not even an automatic to say the least. But I'm one hell of a happy owner. In fact I plan to keep it even though I'm planning to get a new car in 2022. Love the WRV , love Honda.

Many cars lack space in the back seat....low roof ... black interiors ...gives a claustrophobic feeling......A Sun Roof alleviates this to a point......hence....
YES........but first time i test drove........than mercedes A class with panoramic sunroof............WOW......IT WAS RAINING......the experience was ..........so good.............hanging kids is bad & hazardous............but keep glass closed.........MOONROOFS actually...........are more suitable for indian conditions..........

if it will come with 1.5 ivtec it will sell like hot cake... The only problem i feel is low power in this car.. with the bulk body it has it definitely needs 1.5 litre... Space is much better than ford eco sports
Calm down guys. Honda knows it but i If they use 1.5 ltr petrol engine, they will loose the tax benefit offered by less than 4 mtr with under 1200 cc engines get. Wr-v is already pricy and it becomes even dearer.
Didn't mention another drawback, that is the lack of adjustable headrest on the backseat which should be considered mandatory for safety. Look at the headrest that Honda offers on WRV! Looks like a brick that is held up against your neck. It is not even a headrest. Forget about rear ac vents and 60:40 split. Just include equipments for some basic safety precautions.
You have a tacky AC unit, wide seats with fixed headrest(beware of whiplash), no rear ac vents, bad seat contours...Still there is only one reason to love a Honda,...Incredible Engine and gearbox...what a pleasure to drive them..!!!!.I can live with none of the creature comforts here..!!!..Quintessentially Japanese..!!..
The only disadvantage that might stop ppl from buying this awesome car is the lack of an automatic transmission and they end up choosing competition. Honda should introduce a CVT with their 1.2 l petrol engine. Driving in cities is becoming a nightmare these days, and all manufacturers should focus on the ease of driving bit also.

Few things you can't take away from Honda - Petrol Engine Refinement, Steering Confidence in Highways, Cabin Space especially at the rear seat, Service and Spare Parts Reliability. For everything else there are other brands.
Such bad idea to ignore the back seat, Amaze comes with a better and comfortable back seat, not sure why Honda is constantly ignoring the rear AC vent!!
As owner of the WRV i recently met an accident in my WRV when a truck crashed into my car from behind at a decent speed of 40-50 KMPH and everyone in the car was safe and in fact only damage that happened was on the rear bumper. You can not judge safety or built quality without experiencing it. I may not be fan of the diesel engine of my WRV but I definitely feel safe inside.
Also a friend of mine who also happens to own the same car had a major accident last year. The car was totaled but all four of the passengers came out safe and secure with very minor scratches. So don't make blind judgment.

This is much more the SUV-version of the Jazz/Fit then the Vezel/HR-V. So, Honda why not bring this model to Europe, same with the N-series and the Accord with the 2.0T engine. You need a range to choose from to get Your buyers/public to return to Your brand.

Definitely go with the Kia Sonet. Much more options and better looking car than Honda. Honda India has given up on improving in India.
If you like to show your cars to impress others go for sonet , if you want to impress urself go for WRV
