I agree to Faisal Khan . Absolutely spot on on the I-vtec .
But , as a Wrv owner for the last 3 years and driving for 40k Kms, I am really happy with the car ,as a family car. Plenty of space , decent features though not the gimmick ones. The low end torque is good for city use, the mid range is average . Top end is good enough. It's not Torquey but ideal for a family car. It's a bit lethargic for sure but buttery smooth and super refined. Handling is good and suspension is very good. Absolutely no issues till now .

I have also booked the petrol VX model waiting to get it by next week. I don’t mind the sprinting or racing things. My first car is amaze diesel and this is second one. Honda is always better than others Maruti doesn’t have options Hyundai has nagging issues and other brands I don’t prefer
I bought it on Black Friday last week. Talking about the car I give 90 points to overall. However the engine is little bit slow. But still it’s fine as better to control pollution. I already have amaze diesel. So one petrol one diesel is good to go option.

Jazz being premium hatch back remains more competitive to the cross overs in India. If Jazz gets the exact design and function of European design then wrv ecosport sonet venue will drop in sales!
No features, no punch, nothing is offered as competitors. Honda is nothing without their honda city as of now. Civic lacks, wrv Lacks, jazz lacks, amaze does nothing. They say honda has best petrol engines . Honda is cheap does cost cutting on everything. Unless until they change their 1.2 L slow engine. They will loose the battle for sure

Honda is no 1 engine manufacturer in the world, look it up. For every 1000 engines there were only 2-3 engines that were not upto the mark.

With a better engine, I'd happily upgrade to the Honda WRV from the Honda Jazz. I've had great experience with Honda at Sundaram Motors and don't want to experiment with after-sales service of other manufacturers.

The WR-V didn't wheel-spin when he launched it as the traction control was preventing it. It cannot be turned off.
But yeah, the 1.2 engine is nothing to write home about in these heavier cars (than the Brio).

The new BS6 compliant Jazz is the better option. If you are looking a car with all the features of WRV which is priced less with a sunroof then go for it. Also better performance than the WRV.

We asked a comp.SUV from Honda they gave us a bigger amaze.
I will choose Hyundai i20 Active over the Honda WRV because of refined yet punchy Diesel motor compared to I-dtec which becomes coarse at higher revs.
But i20 handling is not good and even it has soft suspension which is not good in highway.. and even space is less than wrv

Sad truth is that even though many people would be interested in purchasing cars from Japanese manufacturers , they just not pay any heed to their customer's opinion . Toyota as long as it keeps rebadging cars , should not expect their sales to rise . I would love to buy a Honda for it's Vtec soul , but apart from city , no other offerings seems like worth it in terms of engine . Even in toyota's case , I would definitely buy a toyota , but they need to atleast develop their own engines

In City too it is actually hard to drive in traffic in 2nd gear you have shift down to 1st

Tight Overtaking on single lane road is harder you have to downshift instantly
Honda claims 18 kmpl and we don't get nothing near that it is 9-10 kmpl in city and 12-13 kmpl on highway

Well this 1.2L engine has been there for a while. How come suddenly it feels underpowered. Because it was always underpowered with less torque. I own a bs4 amaze and this is the nature of ivtec. High revs and mileage that’s all
