    I've made some effort to get a few Bronco Sports together, for an off road trip here in Virginia, with very little luck. One showed up once but keeps talking about coming again but wasn't available the next 2-3 times and another one says they've been off road but can't seem to meet with me and that's it! Meanwhile, at least some of my old Subaru friends are willing to tag along, on my trips.

    • @dustinwjohnson

      The bumper was hand fabricated by Baja Forged! As far as I am aware of, it was a one off and they haven’t mass produced any yet!

    • @dustinwjohnson
      @dustinwjohnson  Год назад

      I will definitely need to make it out to Bulldog Canyon. I have done a small portion of Sycamore Creek, just didn't want to get stuck while alone. The Bumpers are custom one off build that was done by Baja Forged back in 2021!

      @@spankifiedhidef5130honestly just do it. I blew up my bumper on my second time out and ended up having to install a front skid to keep it from completely blowing it up. I’m gonna do the same as the one in this video. I guess it also depends on how hard the trails are that you’re going on but I’m part of an overlanding group that does pretty extreme off roading and I took some underbody damage as a result. Now I’m scrambling to do upgrades before the next adventure haha

    Too bad you and the group didn’t have a Jeep with you, you know to show you how to really off-road (solid axles) and a Rubi.
    Ford really dropped the ball building the Bronco w/o solids.
    Start the keyboard warriors rant in 3,2,1 go!
    You’ll never see a Bronco doing the Rubicon unless of course it’s a built one from years ago.

    • @lukearoo2040
      @lukearoo2040 5 месяцев назад

      As a jeep owner who has attended the Arizona Bronco Club meetups, it doesn’t matter what you drive. They’re all about having fun on the trails. And people have their preferences and they’re entitled to their own opinions about solid axle vs independent. They each have their pros and cons. We also have to start somewhere. Bronco people learn to do obstacles differently because of the independent system. Sure a jeep would have no problem crawling but broncos beat us in other categories and vice versa. It’s important we learn how our specific vehicle handles and it will be different from vehicle to vehicle. All love ✌🏼

      I don't think you'd need solid axles for this "trail" lol. Looked super mellow. I'd imagine a CRV would have been fine.
