On lichess, I play a lot of puzzle positions with Stockfish level 5 to see if I can checkmate it. After the first 15 moves or so, it is clearly apparent from the facts that each move takes the exact amount of time, there are no premoves, even the obvious ones, and in your case finally the strength of play to indicate that you were in fact playing against an engine. Pretty sad seeing these cheaters on a speedrun.

Bookmove just means it's Theory of some sort. Theory is choosen by people.
There are countless lines of official Theory (Bookmoves) that leave the one that plays it at objectively -3 or something
(Something a Computer would never do in a million years).
For example the Englund Gambit. All Bookmoves, leaves you at I think -4 or something with perfect play.
The double Muzio Gambit in the Kings Gambit Main Line is another example.

My computer hits depth 40 fairly quickly, and I've compared it to engines on phone, ipad, etc. This guy was either using a phone/ipad that caps out around depth 25 or trying to hide that he was cheating and keeping it even in the first half of the game, or maaaaybe played a normal game until time pressure then started using the engine, but once you two started moving quickly it was blatant inhuman engine moves all the way through. I agreed with Danya that little about the first part of the game was suspicious beyond that it was relatively accurate in a newer line, but the position was easy enough to play as long as long as you develop normally and improve your pieces.
Love seeing you play the Caro, I always hate facing the panov. The lines that Jovanka's book that I'm using recommends are very sharp and I've gotten blown off the board numerous times playing a friend in it. I always slept on the panov because I personally dislike IQP structures but now that I've started studying it to learn how to play against it, it's quite a fascinating structure to study. Shame we didn't get to see a more human game persay in this line but you at least got to show us how to reach equality in this line against engine play which is more than valuable enough. Love the speedrun so far!

Okay, so he goes e5. Now a lot of people here would just lazily develop the knight to f3, but we actually have a move here that poses a lot of practical problems for black and is borderline winning for white. The move is Ke2, and do not worry I will explain this more thoroughly after the game. Now you might look at this position and say, 'isn't this weakening our king and blocking in our pieces?' And while that may be true, you guys need to start thinking long term. In the endgame, it will be a huge advantage to have our king activated in the center. Furthermore, black has no threats here, he is not going to checkmate us any time soon, the king is perfectly well defended on e2. Now he does have a nasty little defensive resource he can try here, let's see if he finds it. Wow, Ke7 he finds it. Now guys, I don't wanna hear any baseless accusations, we will check with an engine after the game. It's not unthinkable that a 1500 finds this move. No black has not equalized, we just need to play clinically to secure our advantage.

when he played Qb3 in 4 seconds in such a rich position it was 1000% he was cheating. You're telling me anyone would ever blitz out Qb3 without considering or calculating any other moves in that position? With tons of time on the clock?
Noone would do that, you would always spend time looking for another move before conceding to just playing Qb3.

Accuracy was ~95% against the lower rated players to gain rating quickly. At higher Elo, the cheater mixed non-top moves in to not get banned immediately. Still, it was a pitty attempt. It's very easy to recognize somebody who cheats manually. For simple moves they take just as long as for difficult ones avoiding or using advanced tactics. Just a disgrace for humanity or stinky robots created to follow stockfish's commands.
On the other hand advanced cheaters that actually have a brain may take longer for the second type of moves if they try to figure out its motivation. But cheaters using their "brain"? Amusing concept.

The real answer is actualy elementary. Magnus cheats. He's always had anal beads up his butt, maybe for the past 10 years. That's how he's been dominating the entire field of players. There was a slight dip during the time he played Caruana because he was so drunk he couldnt feel the vibrations well and ended up losinga game. His team decided to turn up the vibrations to max and that's how Magnus survived the encounter.
Recently Magnus realized the anal bead supercomputer design he created had been stolen. Of course he couldn't come clean about cheating, so he drummed up the excuse of being bored so he wouldn't lose the World Championships to Nepo, who he suspects to have stolen the anal bead design after being humiliated in their prior contest. Magnus' suspicions were further evidenced by Nepo's performance during the Candidates. As u/GothamChess said, however, success is addictive, and Magnus decided to aim for 2900 before retiring for good.
Little did he know, the real thief was the cocky supervillain Hans. Hans employed the anal bead tactic against Magnus. Being new to use the device, however, Hans didn't know that the signals he sent from his beads interfered with Magnus' device. Magnus feels unprompted vibrations on his prostate and realizes Hans stole his poopchute stockfish but couldn't use his own to retaliate lest Hans knew he was the true inventor of the device. That's why Magnus was uncharacteristically prone to inaccuracies and proceeded to lose the game.
Afterwards, Magnus withdrew from the tournament, but not before putting out a vague tweet. While everyone interpreted it as Hans cheating, in reality, Magnus was also cheating but can't release definite proof since he'd also be in "big trouble".
      Case solved.

Don't get the whole banned thing unless you are actually a titled player that has to validate their identity and title. The guy will just create a new account in 60s flat and probably get his rocks off that he upset someone enough to report him. There has to be more of a penalty as bans do nothing in this particular situation. Yes a ban may mean something to someone like Hans Niemann but not for some random anonymous peep who gets a rise out of cheating others. Just my 2c.

Just saying, what happens if there’s a guy who’s actually really good, who doesn’t want to be in competitions, just play online; and it’s misjudged for a cheater? You said ‘unless he’s Magnus..’ , so there you go, if there’s one person who can play like that, why couldn’t there be another or many more? Several people have defeated Magnus btw. Thank you!

I wish people would stop rendering 60 FPS, the videos dont play smoothly on older hardware and its completely unnecessary most of the time. There is absolutely no need for more than 25-30 FPS on a chess video. Its increasing rendering time, upload time, and space on disk, its illogical on multiple levels.
