Great video review, superbly concise and fair, very informative, a very useful resource. I do have one question, should I get this for my hero11 or am I going to be disappointed that certain functionality is going to be unavailable on it??
@@Rush-Media Sure, I'm aware that some gimbals do not like when you try to use a device that is slightly heavier than it is rated for. Every piece of info I can find lists the max capacity of the iSteady4 as 50mm and .33lbs, but the 11 is listed as 50.6mm and .338lbs etc, I am just wondering if this discrepancy is enough to render it not capable of actually functioning properly when loaded with a Hero 11 in it.
if the on off button is hidden behind the motor You can switch on the camera via the remote on off switch on the gimbol when they are both talking to each other switching in the gimbol also switches on the camera.
Awesome review! I do have a question, how does this compare to the inkee falcon? We now have 2 great gimbals for their hero 9/10 which we didn’t before
The rec/shutter button didn't work with my gopro 11 even though I had already connected the camera with the gimbal and paired the two devices. Also the trigger button button didn't reset the gimbal and I had to repeat several times to manage to do that. I don't know if that happens only on gopro 11. So, I was forces to return it.
Thanx for the review. I am trying to understand what is the difference between the iSteady 3 and the 4. Is it only the added compatibility to GoPro9 and 10? No other added features? I have the Osmo Action (1). Is the iSteady 3 just the same for me (it's cheaper which is always a concern). Also, do you know what is the difference between the iSteady 3 and 2? Will the 2 be the same? (again, it's even cheaper). I can't find answers to those questions anywhere. I'd really appreciate your input. Thanx.
@@Rush-Media Thanx. And is the better way to connect your camera on the 4 is so worth the upgrade (considering I have Osmo Action)? Plus, I hear the 4 has a USB-C connection for faster charging, while the 3 doesn't. Is that also true? Again, really appreciate your answers.
Is it possible to mount the GoPro replacement side door ( 16:44 )even if the GoPro was mounted normally on the gimbal ( 18:38 )? The replacement side door has such a hump. Does it still fit between the motor and the base plate? That would be great, because then the Gorpo would be at least a little more dust-proof. Thank you!
Thanks for the review. It is very informative. By the way, where can I find the battery's replacement door in the video? I walked through the GoPro website and couldn't find the same door you showed in the video. Would you send the link to us? Thanks in advance.
Battery lasted just under an hour, completely worthless junk. Then stoped working altogether, shuddering mass of motors. Don’t waste your time, mine is going back today.
I like teachers like you, easy to understand and watching was enjoyable, thank you x
Nice review and great to see Cardiff make an appearance. Looking forward to my iSteady arriving
I hope it works well for you. It has some really fun features
Definitely the best review of this gimbal, wish id seen this before setting my gimbal up.
Glad it was helpful!

Can you be more specific? What functionality are you referring to?

@@Arkesus It works fine on my end with the 11?
@@SamuelRush glad to hear, many thanks for the reply.

Brilliant review, thank you. Information spot on
Can you see and access the back screen easlily?

This gimbal doesn't accommodate the media mod, external mics and the lens mod etc. It can accommodate GoPro 10/9 8/7/6/5/4 though.
Would this
be a waste of time an Action 4? From what i understand you couldnt use the trigger and would have to use record button on tne camera? Thx
I don't have my action 4 at the moment to test, I'll have it in a week to test this for you.
@@Rush-Media Have you tested it for Action 4?

You should try the inkee falcon
For me , I will extend the cable with 2 cm … I don t like the gp11 upside down …
Did you "solve the problem" with de Mini-Type C USB cable?
I wish you would put together a full tutorial video of how to set up and use the Manual Settings while shooting with the iSteady Mobile + app

The way of connecting your camera is better now, otherwise not much different

What about the length of the cable? You never did follow up.
No change , same small length…

You can, but it's off balance. Upside down seems to balance fine with the replacement side door
@@Rush-Media thank you very much!
Is it still worth buying for gopro hero 11?
That does depend on what you want it for, what I really like about this gimbal is the timelapse and app features. And it is quite good value too.
@@Rush-Media Thanks 👍🏼

@@Rush-Media Thanks for your reply. I did not realize this is the one. :)
It really works on go pro 11?
Yes .
Can it shoot in vertical/portrait mode?
It can, but only when you are in pov "torch" mode. Unlike the inkee that goes into portrait easily.
Work with Gopro eleven
Yes it does
@@Rush-Media work on gopro 12 hero black can we zoom in zoom out
2 years has been passed… and the cable for GP11 is still short …. 😢😢😢
The pairing can only be done with GoPro. Pairing with Osmo Action is not available.
how about the max lens mod or the media mod ???????
if you added media mod it wont fit into the gimbal
great review
Bets except you cannot use the media mod!!!!!
A Du...doesn't work with askaso camera...
😎👍nice
