I have mentioned before that I steady 4 is a great gimbal but the video is still jittery without Gopro stabilization. When you enable hypersmooth the footage is very smooth.
Thank you for this video! Got here from your latest one. Have you tried to use Falcon Plus with Insta360 X3? I think it's the only one gimbal that might work well.
@@TamaraGabrielUK I know it's weird, but I"m getting obsessed with this idea to shoot multi-angle videos without jittering of camera's stabilization. I wanted to buy Falcon Plus just for this but I'm afraid that it would not stabilize X3 well. If you have a minute to try it out and let me know, I would be so grateful to you! 🙏 All I need to know if that gimbal can handle standing position of X3. 😇
Sorry, I've been meaning to get back to you about this. I tried the lens out with the INKEE Falcon, and it's fine, no balancing issues. I can't say I'm a fan of the anamorphic lens though, Even in Linear on the H11 you can see the edge of the lens when you pan, even if panning slowly, and the streak looks a bit rubbish too.
Hello Tamara. I am looking for a gimbal to use with my gopro hero 11 with the mediamod + with the ecternal mic attached to it. I have a Sennheiser MKE 200 mic and I saw in another of your videos that you also have this mic. Did you manage to use it with a gimbal somehow? Thank you!
Not with a dedicated action camera gimbal, instead this is the gimbal I would use it with, the FeiyuTech Scorp Mini ruclips.net/video/MkSwcAV-58g/видео.html
When you do find so many shortcomings in Hohem as compared to Inkee, why not just say it quick n simple - Hohem 0 : Inkee 1. There isn’t any point in saying I wish Hohem had this Hohem had that. Also, Inkee is fully compatible with Hero 11 plus media mod + lens mod + external microphone, whereas Hohem doesn’t support media mode in any latest versions of Hero camera. Cheers.
Hi! So I have been watching a lot of videos about these two options and Im still very stuck. A lot of my content is for social media so filming in a vertical orientation would be best (I think). With that being said is it better to get the IKNEE since it has the vertical filming option as well as that quick flip to selfie mode? I know you prefer the Isteady and that seems to be what most pick but I know it lacks those features. I know this video is older so do you still prefer the Isteady? PS of course I really want the Pocket 2 but waiting to see if the Pocket 3 will be out soon! Any tips would be excellent as far as what I'm shooting for
Yeah I still prefer the iSteady, but if your biggest use case is shooting vertically then the Falcon would be the better option for you. Because I don’t shoot vertically a lot, I’d go with the iSteady.
Nice comparison and I agree. I ended up with the inkee+ solely because of the media mod capabilities. They also advertised the motion time-lapse would be coming to an app update down the road but now I've noticed they removed all that on their website/amazon product pages. If Hohem makes it media mod capable in the next iteration then I think they will have nailed it, just like you said. Thanks for the video!
@@FelipeRio Its been awhile since I made that comment and I did not purchase a gimbal as I have a pocket 2 and use gopro without. What I seem to remember on what I believe was at least 3 videos on youtube complaining that this gimbal would start just spinning round and round very fast. Had it been just one person or 2, I might have ignored it but it seems like a slightly common issue. I think at the point that it starts to do this the gimbal is useless. Also, I think the people who had issues like that, the problem came on rather early in the lifespan. Of course you might not have this issue at all.
@@gutenbird many thanks for the input, I'm going to keep digging to see any flaws to get it in a month or so, until now I have only seen the horizontal leveling that it's easily fix on app... I'm going to use with a insta360 one R
Thanks for the great vid Tamara! What are your thoughts on the zhiyun crane m2s? I know it’s kind of in its own league when it comes to gimbals, but I like the fact that it is versatile in terms of use with other types of cameras, including mirrorless. Also, I’m still torn between the GP 10 and the DJI action 2. I’ve used GoPro before, and I know what to expect in terms of usability and performance, however, I’m super attracted to the action’s form factor and mounting system. A deciding factor for me may come down to use with a gimbal - have you tried putting the action on a gimbal, and, if so, which one? Many thanks! :)
Hey Michael 😊 I really like the Crane M2s, I got it a few weeks ago and planning on doing a video soon. I've put the Action 2 on the INKEE Falcon gimbal but it didn't do much for getting smooth footage so I personally wouldn't bother.
@@TamaraGabrielUK thanks bunches, Tamara! Just out of curiosity, was your Inkee gimbal test with the main camera module only or with the power/dual screen mod attached? Definitely looking forward to your crane m2s review :) I suppose a big con of the crane used with the GP is the lack of remote control compatibility (or am I wrong?)
Yep, tried with the camera on its own and with the module, but it didn't seem to do a whole lot. Yeah the M2s is great but you can't control the GoPro with it, at least I haven't got it working.
I'm going for the Hohem, as it's so easy just to attach, and not have to fuss with axis points! I have a Weebill S and Zhiyun Crane M2, and there's a bit of work balancing those for my other cameras. I don't suppose you can sneak a Sony RX100 VA onto the Hohem iStady Pro 4, without it noticing? That would be awesome!
Despite the Falcon Plus being able to attach the Media Mod, I've been using the iSteady Pro 4, and I'll just get the Zoom F2 to get decent audio and sync it in post.
@@TamaraGabrielUK I have the older Zoom H-1, good idea! Just got my iSteady Pro 4 from Amazon (Canada) just today. Nice packaging too! I'm surprised that people think this gimbal (and similar others), is expensive! Imagine what it would have cost five or ten years ago! By the way, are you in London? I love that city!!
Yeah, it's definitely not an expensive gimbal. It feels more expensive than it is. I'm pretty close to London. It's a great city but too hectic and busy for me to live there.
@@TamaraGabrielUK A friend in London took me to Box Hill and a nice village called Shere, since I told him I'd love to see an English village. By the way, one of the reasons I bought a Go Pro 10 was so that I can video one of those huge escalators (looking upwards) when leaving the London Underground/tube, without being too obvious. I noticed people coming downward (as I was going upward) don't look as though they would want to be videoed, but I would want to capture how long those escalators are, up to the surface. In Toronto, they are miniature by comparison!
I love the villages here, some of them are so pretty and still so old-looking. I get what you mean with the escalators in the underground, they do go on for a while, and you'd definitely get some stares if you were filming with anything bigger than a GoPro 😅
Those are cool. I hope you continue to review gimbals, and maybe even the DJI OM5. I know its a phone gimbal but i would love to see your review of it😊

I just purchased the inkee falcon plus. What a piece a rubbish. It’s so jittery it makes the footage unusable, unless you switch the stability back on, defeating the propose of the gimbal. I like to use the anamorphic lens on the gopro 10, or film with an ND filter but cant use them the way i wanted. Don’t waste your money on the inkee falcon plus. I have the crane M3 now so much better.
Love how you've explained this in a short amount of time and capturing the essence only of what people should know
Thanks!
thank for the sharing of your thoughts: the Hohem and Inkee is the media mod important or timelapses controoled by the gimbal, that be hte choice.
Exactly, depends what's more important to you.

Hey can I use it with a DJI action 4 and what about the DJI Mobile 6 and se. Will they work with the DJI action 4 ?
Does the Hohem work with Osmo Action 4. What I mean is to start and stop from the gimbal..
Unfortunately not.
Have you tested Hero 10 with Crane M2S or M3 gimbal yet? Thanks
I've tried it with the M2s, it works.
