This scene is perfection. It's a slow burn coming to terms with the betrayal, especially since Reiner was already a suspect for the armored titan for most, and Bertholdt too for people paying attention. You're thinking "Maybe they're just off base and this is a misunderstanding??" Then Reiner is healing his arm and you're still desperately looking for an out "Oh, well maybe he is a different titan we haven't seen yet, like Ymir?? right?? Please??". Then they both shift and you just have to eat the reality of it all.
I watches many animes and even more movies and I never seen a moment as perfect as this where the music, the visuals, the emotional tension of the situation and the plot twist are on such a high level and all get mixed up together in a perfect situation so well. I cant stop watching this. This scene truly is one of the greatest achievements of new age media. Its perfect or even more than that.
The amount of pain that time i felt when I found out bertholdt and reiner were the collosal and armored Titan, but at the same time i was dying over how memorable and cool that scene was a haha And wow i was so satisfied with their reaction when the reveal scene was on! xd

And I was like " Wait, that guy kinda looked like the titan with an armor " But I thought that just a coincidence or Im just getting over my head at the moment.
Yeah, and when Eren and the others are talking about the Armored Titan, the camera suddenly changed to Reiner's face while he is drinking, that's why I get suspicious at him
yeah yeah I know what you mean dude, but then I saw a bunch of guys who looked like it too, for example one of the guys on the intro of this season looked like him too (2:41 the dude with the hand at his face), this is due the mangaka art style and character desing, in fact based on that, at the begining I tought the Colossal Titan was commander Pixis, I lost my mind when Reiner reveled Bertolt was the colosal titan and he beging to transform.
When I first saw this scene I was lost for words (I never read the manga at this point), You could just feel Erens pain, they killed his mother, displaced millions, slept like logs and lied to his fucking face the entire time.
"He's becoming more human" I remember watching this back in the day not knowing anything about the show but I guessed much that the titans weren't just mindless lumps of air meat 😂
Looking back here from season 4, Bertholt and Reiner really deserved it. Like what were they THINKING? Eating and Sleeping with the same people they killed? Biggest betrayal ever.
When this came out and when Eren was crying thinking about those moments he spent with them it reminded me of that whole episode when they were sharing their sob story with everyone about the town they lost after Sasha told them about her village and I was so damn pissed that it was all a big fat Lie. I was really sympathizing with Eren then but was waiting for him to throw hands; now its all over, look at how far we have come😪
This is the equivalent to finding out your adopted after 17 years with your "mom" and your divorced "dad" and that your brother is also adopted and he knew the entire time
Because for the most part reiner was going soft. Staying with these people gave him wavering resolve, so he decided to bite the bullet and get his job done now

If he stayed for longer he felt like he might have switched loyalties so he decided to do it there and then while he still has resolve. The soldier personality was beginning to power him more the longer he stayed
