- In this video, I am going to show you what I did to customize the MGEx Strike Freedom Gundam. I repainted the inner frame with different Gold/Copper paints. I also added more detail using PLA plates and scribing with some color separation. I put a few LEDs in the head, shoulders, chest, legs and backpack. I hope you enjoy this video.

hi! Nice video and im actually getting into these projects as of last year. Just wondering, did you put any resistors connected on the LEDs?
No resistor. I use step down regulator to convert USB to 3V.

What brand of paint did you use for the red? It’s beautiful. I’m about to paint one of these myself.

What did you use to remove all the gold paint? I used alcohol for 8 hours and then the bleach detergent another 8 hours.....
For the Chrome Gold, you can use regular bleach but not the splash less one. It has to be full strength. I used Super Clean degreaser which is much safer for plastic. It takes 3-4 hours to completely strip it.
@@gunplafantasy thank you for the tip. Will cause any damage if I use alcohol?
@@mikegomintong8856 I use 91% alcohol before and it didn’t work even after soaking overnight. I would recommend you test it with a piece of runner first. Alcohol works on the copper and white gold though. I think my video shows it
