As a Warhammer player, it absolutely astounds me that this whole model is pushfit, with no glue required, and still goes together that well and looks so good. Fully posable too. Amazing

I really can't wait for other mobile suits to get this kind of treatment. The PG Unleashed treatment shrunken down to MG proportions is amazing! I really hope Bandai continues to use what the PG Unleashed did with their manuals for runner managing as it really helps!

well this kit is a master Grade extreme. which is even more work then a regular mastergrade kit so if you would get a MG kit it would have significantly less work then this one since this is the second MGEX kit ever. if you wanna get into the hobby. i suggest getting Entry Grade kits or High Grade kits theyre usually labeled with HG in 1 of the corners of a box

i'm going to start this build soon after I have finished the bust model from the gundam factory. I bought those kits in Japan when I was on holiday some weeks ago. Really looking forward having fun putting this together :)
It just makes me laugh whenever he takes out and puts on the stickers. He takes them with such PURPOSE hahahahaha or at least how the edit looks for me. I always like to think he makes a sound like HAYAHH whenever the sticker pops out of the sheet. hahaha love it!

I purchased this strike gundam in 1/60 size like 2 years ago. I still have not built it. I haven't even opened the box, yet! this video is making me want to put it together. I think mine has LEDs and all. I have that gundam stored somewhere in the garage. I'll find it one of these days
im kinda jealous. gundam seed is my fav thus far. Loved the strike and the freedom. Never got into the justice though. Hope you find that kit, it needs some love.
Haha I get what you mean, the metallic parts can be a little scary as they are slightly more fragile than usual but they won't snap unless you use your 100% force. Everything else fits perfectly, only issues I got is fitting the dragoons on the wing unit.
One day, I'll be able to afford this guy. I just finished the rg version. It took 12 hours for me to finish it. I couldn't imagine how long it would take to build this. Wow, impressive.
I didn't do it in one sitting, I think I spent 9 different days to build it but it was relatively fast because I didn't do any clean up, just double snips. It's worth the time tho 😃
@knitehobby I panel lined it and put on the stickers. That's why it took me 12 hours of build time. The thing I've learned about gunpla is that you have to be obsessed with every little detail. To make an amazing model. I'm 18 models into the hobby and have improved a lot from my first one. The thing I like most about the hobby. patient's is the most important thing. Take your time and try something different. You can only get better with each model you build.
@@Thegamercat420 agreed, back in my first 5 kits I only snip and build them. Now I properly cut out the parts, file the nubs, panel line and apply decals every now and then. It's a very nice hobby, really takes time 😁
@knitehobby Have you tried airbrushing? I'm kinda scared to try because I don't want to mess up the model. I'm guessing that's the next step for a gunpla builder. Once you get down the basics.
Wow so you don’t need to paint gundams anymore? This looks very nice out of box. In the old days you have to sand, putty and paint them to look nice, but that was like 15 years ago, haven’t touched a build since. Are all gundam now look this good unpainted or only the special mgex versions?
Yea that is true, nowadays kits are already good out of the box such as the new witch from mercury lines. Minimal stickers, simple, and hollow parts are little to none (that's visible)
Man I wish I could cut all the pieces to a limb first then assemble it in one go like you do. I'd probably lose a piece or forget it's number in the instructions!

Did you do any sanding? I saw how you cut the nibs off with a second pair of nippers, but from my experience its nearly impossible to not leave stress marks :( Awesome video and the ASMR is absolutely captivating!
For this build I did not do any sanding. Mainly 2 reasons, first is I was short on time and second 80% of the parts are underagated, the parts that do leave stressmark are mostly the inner frame and gun metallic grey

Man, this made me wish they made another gundam build series, they goes a bit too fast with gundam build divers, they can just stick to build fighters and have multiple MC from different region/time like Beyblade...burst? And features more custom gunpla, I was really excited to see strike freedom and unicorn there, kinda sad that they didn't show one
@@knitehobby yeah, that's the challenge to put in that story, I wonder if they can implement grade restrictions for the tournament, that way there's also an interesting point when there's a fight between different grades, as for what grade provide for the actions/performance, well, I haven't bought one gunpla since my dad bought me strike freedom years ago, I didn't even remember what grade it is, so I'll leave that to those who familiar with this, man, this sport is expensive if we think about it, destroyed parts and such -w-')
There are 2 metallic injection parts runner B and runner D, runner B isn't undergated while runner D is. All the inner frame on runner G as well as the grey gun metal parts aren't undergated. However the armor or the colored parts are undergated. but looking at it completed, there is 99% no nubmark spots anywhere to be seen since the inner frame is hidden.
Oh if you haven't place the pilot in then just do it, disassemble some parts and you should be fine. But I don't recommend pulling it out too often because it can be fragile
For this kit, 80% of the parts are undergated which means that the nub placement are underneath the parts where it's not visible. The nubs are still there but you can't see it from outside, as for cleaning you can use a file or sanding sponge and it will do the trick

It's about 22-23 cm tall. With the action base and wings fully expanded, would be around 35 cm

It's a single blade nipper by DNR, a local Indonesian brand. Cheap and works very well.

For this kit, 80% of the parts are undergated which means that the nub placement are underneath the parts where it's not visible. The nubs are still there but you can't see it from outside, as for cleaning you can use a file or sanding sponge and it will do the trick
