That is soooooo gorgeous!!! This is my favorite gundam and I actually got the same set a while back and maaaaan mine looks like trash compared to yours hahaha I still worked hard on mine though I had no idea about these resin sets you could get I’d love to do the same to mine someday! Be awesome if you could name off some of those chemicals you use on the regular! I’d love to be able to get into such high detail like that 😁

I painted the gold accents on the wing funnels by hand with enamel, fuck that lol 😂 I see you cut the pieces off of the shoulders as well and had to make your own tabs lol…anyways, very nice work! Looks amazing!

Can someone explain to me cutting every piece out of the runners? What do you do with it after to know which piece is which? Or is that part of the fun for people, hunting for the piece the Manuel is asking for?

Dragon Momoko's Metal Build KO Strike Freedom with the metal inner frame looks similar to the conversion kits. This seems similar but has better accentuated features compared to the Bandai's Metal Build. Still hoping that there's a conversion kit or adapter for the original MG Freedom's Plasma Beam Cannons on its wings that can be integrated into the Strike Freedom's wings.

This is so sick, I just recently bought MG Strike Full burst mode and try to convert to MGEX by customizing it. This is exactly what I want to see. Is this resin kit applicable to MG Strike Freedom Full Burst mode?
AFAIK The difference between the MG SF and the FBM is that the basic kit consist of Strike Freedom, it's weaponary, decals and a base. Meanwhile Full Burst Mode is the basic kit with gold coating parts, a special clear blue base, and Dragoon effect parts and stands for them.
Can it still be posed after?

You using the blue tack to just hold the parts in place so we can see it? The 'snap' together (or get glued) later?
Some parts still using blue tack because the gimmick will stuck if using glue

Just curious, what does resin do? Can the kit not look the same without it?
Resin pieces are sold separately from the original models and can be used to swap out armor parts (or even frame parts) of the original kit to enhance the look of it. Without resin parts, standard kit. But resin requires lots of discipline and tools to use because it is different from regular PLA or ABS plastic.

@@d9_1056 resin is more expensive than abs and also very toxic yet sturdy than abs.
@@d9_1056 yeah it also requires paint. Depending on the brand you buy it from it could convert one kit into another kit, or change the shape of armor completely
@@NzStudio00 yes and resin is very toxic. Sanding it (and regular plastics too) is really dangerous because inhaling resin dust can hurt your lungs and uncleaned or treated resin can also irritate skin too.
Hi just wondering but while working with resin I see you didn't need to sand the parts in a water bowl or so, are you just in a ventilated area? heard resin is quite bad for your lungs and all

Thank you. I don't actually focus on psi, just go by feeling. Normally it stays at 18-20
