I was just trying this idea on medium and short chip shots and the ball hit the middle of the club face 90% of the time and did not go right 2 to 4 yards anymore. Weird and Nice! Thanks Peter!
True. My best drives always seemed to be almost 'effortless'. At 5'9"", 145 lbs, I was able to hit the drive 300+ yards, on occasion. It is all about timing, and not so much about brute strength. Tight muscles will on!y serve to slow one's swing down.
Thanks Peter. I understand what you are saying. They say people have different learning styles and your instruction has just been an “ah ha” moment for me. For others of course, the same may not apply. Cheers mate.
This explanation needs a graphic to show that it's the slowing down of the lower body that allows the hands and arms and club to gain all the energy and speed.

Peter, I actually want to "physically" drive the ball off the tee farther not "metaphorically" further because that's just like being one hell of a driver, in theory, and not in practice. Sorry, one of my pet peeves.

G Blizzard Great work. I was talking about driving, but as you’ve found, there are principles which apply to most of your game.
Greetings Mr. Knight, I am enjoying your videos, I am now starting to improve my swing and using my other clubs. Thanks much for the tips
Thanks Lois. I’m glad the videos are helping your golf.
all good except for the teaser ads blocking the front view of the full swing. otherwise great message, right on the money.

Peter Knight Golf. Thanks Peter. I finished the first chapter. Golfs “Pareto principle” is a great mindset and focus to have.

I wish I could...
And I try, and I try, and I try, but I can't get no satisfaction.

Great suggestion, thanks Splag
My swing is always off balance. Cannot achieve balance with any club no matter how I try to sequence.
Focus initially on feet and hip movement to build your balance base. Then look at whether your swing path is affecting your balance.
@@PeterKnightGolf thanks

A little like many golf swings; technically incorrect but functional.
@@PeterKnightGolf Amen to that...now you're describing my swing to a "tee"
