- Clive King was brought to Southern Utah University for a three day drawing workshop. Students were required to draw at a pace set by an eclectic set of music. The finished pieces were displayed in the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery February 23 through March 5, 2016.

Thank you Dallas. I like your approach to this video. Using Clive's voice to describe the process is a great way to understand the experience that the students had with him.
I love this! I do this exact thing with my 4 year old daughter. He get music, and giant paper, or we use the MS Paint App, and we just start to draw whatever comes to mind, then afterwards we talk about what the images we made look like, or what they remind us of, then we touch them up to try to make them that way. I didn't realize that was an actual artist technique. :)
What a beautiful thing to do with your daughter, Chante.. That's great parenting, isn't it, encouraging creativity particularly these days, with such digital lives? She'll grow up always with confidence to create which is fantastic 👌😍
This is how I draw. I like that you add fast music to it, so the mind can’t get in the way as much. I’m gonna try that.
Had an Art teacher that would give each student a piece of torn paper from a Newspaper or Magazine and they were to paste it on a blank sheet then continue the image of it. It was important they never saw the original image it was torn from.

Instructor: Everyone has a deep secret.
Student: Not me, I'm a pretty open person. I actually can't be trusted with a secret.
Instructor: Draw something that nobody knows about you!
Student: That's subjective. Are you talking about in this class, my family or the world?
Instructor: Just the class if it's too complicated to understand!
Student: Ooookay...*Draws instructor burning money while starving students freeze* If that's not a secret then I don't know what is!
Instructor: Leave my class!
Student: I paid for this class. You leave!
