I went back to using a Hero 4 because I tried one of the New GoPros and I had nothing but freezing issues. I think the newer ones are trying to do too much and the processor just freezes or shuts the camera off. I sure hope you don't have the same issues I did. I am thinking about switching to DJI action cameras.
I think 30pfs is standard rate, the 60pfs would allow for a half speed slow-motion shoot. Don't quote me on that though. It's all muddy water here too.
I shoot in 2.7k at 30fps. I don't think you need to shoot at 60 but it won't hurt, but will take up more hard drive space. Maybe time to upgrade the computer. I just bought a new Mac Mini this past fall and glad I did. I can edit and process video so much faster.
I don't have any advice for you, I'm still using my phone too. Not super happy with it but for now it's what I've got. You'll get it figured out. Hope you have a good one!
I'm sorry, but I can't help but laugh!! You're awesome!!!! You'll get it all figured out, AND THEN SOME!!! You'll invent better video recording tech! Now I understand why I've not seen some vids for a while. ;-)
Higher resolution allows you to zoom in in post production .... 30fps is all you need unless doing slo-mo, then use 60fps. heck try 24fps your computer will thank you. Don't get the camera too close, it's fixed focus is further away than you might realise .... experiment :)
Thanks for the update. Technology can be a pain. I think most of us would watch if it was in black and white. You do some very interesting stuff.
Thank you, not everybody is as considerate as you are 🙂

I'm starting to question my decisions in life...

Thank you for taking the time to give me some input, I really don't know what I'm doing with this thing.

Thank you, I'll give that a try.
