@@ZanyRSPS Yeah on e70 which requires a flex fuel kit, fuel pressure kit, fuel pump, AND in tank fuel pump for e70,(stock in tank fuel pump only handles e62). SO it takes a lot more, this seems to be on 93
that 7k rpm redline is what really gives it the edge on GTI and MS3 with similar power, you can see them shift about a thousand rpm sooner and loose boost while the wrx just screams ahead another thousand rpm. the new fa24 will have to make up for that with its shorter gearing and bigger displacement.

im pretty sure at the time this thing had a built motor on the stock turbo thats why its as high as it is. cuz he went big wheel stock turbo and made 425whp
John Myers i know the new wrx makes all its boost at low rpms but its not gonna get walked by a wrx that makes 10 more hp but runs with a hellcat and 600+ mustang on the highway. Sorry but just want honest numbers. The car is quick but dont portray it like you can have a stage 3 wrx and run with 600+ whp cars. Not hating either, still love the car
All true numbers. When most of these races were done there were no options for upgraded turbos that worked. They didn’t make a god options till mid 2017 and it’s a ported stock turbo. Still very fuel limited. No lies on this. DA hurts NA cars a lot more then turbo. DA here is bad.

The WRX in the video has a built motor by Goodspeed. Not base WRX. With just those mods on base motor(non-built) your looking at 330hp to 350hp max.

That's normal for FI cars. Methanol makes INSANE gains, but we'll have to see how long the stock block puts up with that much power.

Tyler Savin 390 is easy on these with Ethanol and untouched turbo. Clark Turner makes these rip
