That's interesting. The MSM paints Poland as a totally racist country eating blacks for breakfast. I have been in Poland on a project in 2020 but only for a couple of days which didn't allow me to get to know the country.
We spent our entire lives living overseas with my career in the military. However, having retired back in the states, we realize we don't really mesh will with the USA anymore. We are looking to move back to Spain.
Me too, been in the USA since 1968, I'm 57, though 9 years ago I bought an olive tree farm in Italy, but it was time to let it go and just sold it in August. So now I'm looking at the north coast of Spain, somewhere between Pontevedra and San Sebastián.
@@timsiedem9030 Sure, the USA I grew up in 1970's and 1980's is gone. The country now is just a corporation, its not a country. Back in the day homes could be bought for less than $100K. A father could work and provide a good home for his wife and kids with his salary. That's all over now. The mantra of doing more with less has become the tagline of the USA. It is all about the individual vs the community. Where I prefer community over individual.
Josiah is so very right. I am in Florida. Preparing to move out of USA. I never talk politics. Everyone around me talks as if everyone agrees with them. It’s frightening here now.
I wish you the best of luck. I live in Connecticut currently so I have a bit of a Blue State cushion to soften the blow of a Trump administration. With that said my wife and I are contemplating selling our house before the imminent housing collapse and move to Uruguay. If you haven't looked at Uruguay as an option I would highly recommend doing a little research on the country, as it seems like the type of government most Americans wish we had. Anyways I wish you luck in these coming years and hope you can make it out safe.
Even if one president could magically fix everything, that's 4 years. The next time, everything could change again. At 70 years old, I've been through enough rounds of up and down that I have look at the long game. It's the social disintegration over the long term that is the problem.
Disagree with that fully. A president isn't in a position to "fix all their issues". But the choice of president can certainly reduce not only the current issues but prevent more from occurring. Or, if chosen unwisely can cause more than you already have. Presidential choices do matter. To what degree is debatable. And between the two this time around the better choice was made. No other choices were available.
Some people, yes. The people I know, however, want their president to stop causing problems. There's no question many of our presidents caused major problems.
If any of these presidents could bring back the gold standard to stabilize our currency I think that would help alot, although maybe hurt at first. BRICS nations understand stable currency, and are working on this. We really don't want to be left behind. But I generally agree with you, most people's problems are self caused and require personal responsibility to fix. People would rather blame others including Trump / Kamala
No president will fix everything but the wrong president can sure louse things up. The outgoing administration's border policies is just one example. Ask anyone living in a 'sanctuary' city about that and the impact this has had on local crime. And do you own a vehicle or home? Shop for groceries? How are the prices to insure said vehicle and home and food prices where you are? Remember when this administration also wanted to outlaw natural gas furnaces and ovens? Really?! Some people still love America and choose to try to effect change. Perhaps a lost cause....

I will turn 60 next year, and Donald Trump's win has me seriously considering moving to Colombia. It seems that I can obtain a retirement visa. I have a good pension from the US, no kids at home, and I live alone in good health. I recently found your channel. Do you have any words of wisdom for me?
Try Albania. I am leaving in March. They love Americans and the economy is growing. Retirement visa baseline is under 13k a year! They let Americans stay up to a year so one has the opportunity to see if they like it. I have family contacts so am in a good position. 3 private American hospitals - very inexpensive. Dental care - American trained dentists - 3rd of the price here. Husband had dental implants and our dentist here was impressed. You can find a vacation rental for $30 a night to see how you feel about the country. Lots of expats! Look on RUclips. Good luck and God speed.
I’m Colombian and left during the Escobar years. I would never go back to live. It’s a beautiful country and I visit my mom but living there is tough. It’s still too volatile.
@ It’s actually not as hard as I thought it was. I had to learn Italian when I met my husband in Venice; he didn’t speak English at the time. I am learning Albanian grammar, alphabet, and phrases I will need. Also numbers, which is surprisingly easy. I believe I will be able to be understood, however understanding what someone says to me will take time. English and Italian will help in Tirana. Smaller towns will be a challenge. Besides language, the biggest adjustment is safe water and not flushing toilet tissue (plumbing)! (Shkoder has decent water)When in Rome…😃
I'm 50 and I recently moved to Honduras. Best decision of my life, I highly recommend you travel to Columbia first and learn Spanish if you aren't fluent. Do lots of research and find locals you can trust quickly. Life moves slower down south so move slowly with it. Don't let anyone rush you or make haste decisions about things.
That quote from Josiah was 100% correct: “The USA is so massively divided, it’s become impossible to interact with someone without politics being injected”
A minor divide is the Dodger Fans gloating about winning the World Series against the Yankees. They also took out both New York teams the Mets in Queens and the Yankees in the Boogie Down Bronx.
I guess many agreed, until they realize Globalists plan is to take full control of our lives. Politics is everywhere and they'll do anything to dumb you down so you wouldn't know anything about them, even the dud from videos got dumbed down if you notice.
I tried to tell my wife and others this. Do not place your happiness in the political process, you are guaranteed to be disappointed at least 50% of the time. Phones & the almighty algorithm has too many people doomscrolling all day long.
I agree with your 5 magic words, Go to where you're treated best. This is why as a Briton and a black person, I will never stop living in the U.K. As far as I know, the U.K is the best country in the world to be a black person. I write this, knowing that I have visited many countries, including the United States (where I experienced racism at the Airport on my first visit in the 1990s, this was in a Southern State).
American living in the Netherlands for 3 years and just married a Polish citizen so essentially I can live anywhere in the Schengen area. Beyond finances and lifestyle I love that fact that I don't really care that much about American politics and just live my life.
You should still care about what happens with Trump policies, especially foreign. His goal is to bust up the European Union. That would affect you. Just saying..Be supportive of Democracy and elect leaders over in Netherlands and Poland who value human rights, particularly for women! American women are in trouble!

You think they just bend the knee and fade into the shadows? See what US movies have taught you? Life is binary, battle between good and evil and if one side wins, it's absolute. Lazy story telling if I may drop my 2 cents. Not how real life works. That's why so many people have a hard time coping.
You all do an AMAZING job on this channel. People are coming here for the wrong reasons. We’re here to plan, not talk politics and be angry. Thank you all for all you do.
I totally get you! Unsure why people are getting super emotional? You left the US so long ago. You are living your best life I can only imagine. God bless you Mr Henderson!
I am unaware of any topic under the sun on which absolutely no one ever gets emotional. People get emotional about stuff. In this very video dood got emotional about not being emotional about politics. It is human nature.

Andrew, don't worry about the people who don't understand. The majority of people will stay within 20 miles of where they grew up. Some of us are just wired different. Some of us see the entire world as possibilities. p.s. I have always thought your Trump impressions were pretty good.

I've been watching you since 2017, and have always appreciated your balance. Nobody can agree on everything, and you're absolutely right that not everything is political. Conversely, the US has become too political, and I'm not outside of that paradigm.
The thing a lot of Americans don’t realize is their freedom ain’t free. If you hold a U.S. passport you must declare and pay taxes on all income you earn to the IRS irrespective of whether you live in the U.S. or not. It is one of the very few countries in the world that imposes this obligation on its citizens
Most Americans don't have a passport and have never been overseas. American citizenship can be renounced if someone has relocated to a different country and doesn't want to pay taxes to the United States any longer.
I just want to say that listening to you was therapeutic! Living life without politics , sounds cathartic and freeing. It was meant for me to watch your video! Thank you!
What most Americans fail to realize is that their everyday problems aren’t down to one party being in power, give it 2 years & everyone will be complaining how rough their lives are while looking for a new savior
@ Hate to break it to you, Sir but the country doesn’t revolve arenas you. 60% of Americans live pay check to pay check, Flint still doesn’t have clean water, the public school system is the worst of any “1st world country” the minimum wage is still $7.25 per hour, the infrastructure has a C- rating, homeless people under every bridge & it’s been that way for the past 20 or more years
We were in business for 47 years and the best presidents for our business were Reagan, Clinton, Bush 2, and Obama. We were very fortunate and had a good run. Trumps first two years were good but then the pandemic. A lot of businesses went under during the big recession 2008 but we benefited from some of our competition closing. I think something broke in 1995. Our former employees weren’t able to open their own businesses. God bless you and your business sir.
Anyone who leaves the US for several years will miss the changes that occur and go into culture shock. They will think it is not their country anymore. He wound up coming back to the US!

Americans who don''t realize elected officials are mere figureheads for a donor class that controls what they do are setting themselves up for disappointment. Besides, it's a prescription for failure to focus only on rejecting what one doesn't want, never formulating a detailed picture of one's desired life. The growing chaos and economic pressures in the US certainly influence my desire to leave. But, also, I found over the years that I often felt more at ease with people from other countries who had a different attitude toward life. I hope to find a place to embrace, not merely find escape.
I like what you’re saying, a lot! I was eager to learn what is it that you found out about what went wrong with US politics 30 years ago, but there was no mention of that. I guess I will dig for it. I also want to be treated better than how I’m being treated in Canada.

I lived outside the US for 20 yrs (6 in BDA- work permit, 14 in Glasgow, Scotland - spousal visa). Been divorced for a long while & back in the US since 2012... what I've seen, the US is basically in a death spiral, in every metric. My 3yr plan is simple. Im buying an old 50-60ft yacht, Want to immigrate to a place such as St Kitts or even St. Lucia (ive have not yet started research on immigration), and start a private snorkeling boat tour w/ catered meals (I'm a soon to be retired Executive Chef).. pretty simple life.😁
I'm a woman. I spent 3 months in Malaysia in 2015. Wonderful people, wonderful place, I could happily live there. I made friends, I would loved to have stayed. Yes, western Malaysia is predominantly Muslim, but I felt safe and respected there. (Far safer than when I've visited USA.) At home in Australia I watch SBS - last night I watched a Korean movie, before that I watched a Swiss series. I don't know if I'll ever going to be able to afford to retire overseas, but I detest the political polarisation of Australia, which is greatly influenced by American politics. It's tearing families and friendships apart. I have no time for it. Thank you, Andrew, you put it so well.

You are NEVER done with politics. Politics exists on the personal level even if it doesn't exist for you on the national or local governmental level. No matter where you live, you are bound by various levels of politics/governance: interpersonal, HOA, city, country, state, and federal. You do not escape politics, and if you don't make choices, others make choices for you.

I agree with Plan B and my father and I have warned and bemoaned about the bad Direction the US was going in since 1960 But I have a question about a statement that has been made especially regarding the United States If the tens of millions of people who worked their butts off, got politically involved, prayed like crazy, if they believed that they couldn't make a difference or do anything about it, and if they didn't do anything, if all of them individually didn't care, would anything have changed? This question goes back to the foundation of the United states, would it have even been born and created if people had that attitude that they couldn't do anything about it? Lastly, is the following quote not true: " all that is necessary for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing" ?

Albània sounds good, but the language is so hard. I'd have to get by with English and Italian at the beginning

Americans who don''t realize elected officials are mere figureheads for a donor class that controls what they do are setting themselves up for disappointment.

I agree with Plan B and my father and I have warned and bemoaned about the bad Direction the US was going in since 1960
But I have a question about a statement that has been made especially regarding the United States
If the tens of millions of people who worked their butts off, got politically involved, prayed like crazy, if they believed that they couldn't make a difference or do anything about it, and if they didn't do anything, if all of them individually didn't care, would anything have changed?
This question goes back to the foundation of the United states, would it have even been born and created if people had that attitude that they couldn't do anything about it?
Lastly, is the following quote not true: " all that is necessary for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing" ?

A failing U.S. economy and elevated global tensions reduce the likelihood of prolonged inflation or higher long-term Treasury yields. I've seen folks amass up to $1m amid crisis, and even pull it off easily in a favorable economy. Unequivocally, the bubble/collapse is getting somebody somewhere rich
I do not disagree, there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors I speak from experience.
Exactly 💯 I've been saying that.
No politician is coming to save you. Thanks Andrew for sharing this.
The agenda will be pushed through regardless.
Cheers from 2 Canadians 🇨🇦 living in Mexico. 🇲🇽
The covid debacle showed us that we are on our own, that we have to fend for ourselves. Wealth protection is the tool that will help us achieve true independence and freedom.
It didn’t start with Covid, look at Hurricane Katrina back in the day and how the government treated their citizens and before that time too. The writing has been on the wall for the USA.
Andrew. You are in the exactly the right place, thinking, feeling and doing exactly the right thing. All of live in our imagined reality.
Thank you for being candid & honest.
