I was surprised by the front to rear motion of the wheel inside the wheel well. Almost like the suspension components are worn out or damaged.
There shouldn't be that much front-to-rear motion.
Could have been an optical illusion know also..

I live 6 miles from where they originated from. Ground split in a few places and lots of people slept in their cars for a few nights afraid to be inside if walls start coming down. I got knocked off my feet the first time and we're used to explosives tests rattling everything but nothing compared to the fact it wasn't just one but lots of consecutive hits which sucked not knowing when they'd eventually stop over a couple of days.

Yes I’ve only been in 2 and they weren’t severe but the rolling is really disturbing.
Considering how strongly the two parked vehicles were moving, it's surprising that so little happened inside the house.
That's the bad part. The parked vehicles had nothing to shield themselves from the earthquake, unlike the house's interior. The house itself absorbs a majority of the energy. This sounds like a cool thing, but it's bad, because even the most violent of earthquakes are not going to shake a car to pieces. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for a house...
Interesting how the animals just run. So did the guy. Seems to be natural to leave the area fast and survive .

I remember hearing about this earthquake, it was 6 July 2019 and was 5:19 am when it occurred, because I live in a time zone called UTC+1, but it was a DST timing because it was summer. The news started at 6 o'clock am and I just heard about that earthquake.
There was actually a 6.5 the 4th of July at 10:33 am and the 7.1 on the 5th at 8:19 pm in the same area.
I hope the panicked cats eventually found their way back home.

Poor kitties! The truck in that first video was moving exactly the way mine was during the Loma Prieta earthquake in '89. I was just getting ready to wash it, and I had to hold onto the side of it to stay on my feet.

Wow, the quake shook that pool like it was a baby pool. Pretty powerful cuz you know you can’t budge those pools filled with water. I just hope no one was hurt including the animals.

At least one appeared to be snoozing under the truck when the quake hit. I saw two, both madly dashing about looking for a safe spot to hide. The one under the truck dashed towards the top of the frame, and then came back a moment later... apparently under the neighbor's car was no more stable. :-)
The swarm triggered by the 2 large quakes are injection wells in a graben! Two types, bedrock is 4+km down, those under outcrops and down to ~2.6km the rest near roads. Zooming full over epicenters can show eyedot driveways on some, a classic telltale of a wellhead.
