I remeber seeing it show up and then getting on this morning i was just like :O
Yeah, I mean, considering the previous kill count goals for these types of major orders was 2 Billion, and this time it was only 100 million, that’s a huge difference. You’d think someone at Arrowhead could look at the stats and see exactly how many Terminids were killed within the last 72 hours, and then use that number as a guideline while adding maybe an extra few million on top for the goal for the major order to make it close.

I would love it if we could just RE-ARM mechs. OR get out and call in a dropship to pick up the mech, re-arm, and bring it back kind of like the Eagle fighter. I love the mech, its one of my favorite strats. In my headcannon my character is a dedicated mech pilot.

@@kyub3y467 An autocannon and flamethrower would be a cool combo. But yeah, fully constructing your own mech (imagine having light armour for speed as well) would be amazing

..its easy to see how it was overlooked. Besides, the way he put it, even if he WAS serious, he can easily laugh it off by saying it was a joke. But if outrage wasnt big enough to warrant that, they couldve gone through with a nerf regardless.
Goodwill was lost, and once that happens everything you say - especially negative things - will be in quite the spotlight. It isnt that easy to win back the goodwill they lost either. ..they could start by removing the Sony ban from those 150 countries but that wont happen, they're too busy throwing a tantrum. (Sony, not AH)
I have a little suggestion for the game. Muscle Enhancement should make heavy armor feel less heavy.
It already eliminates debuff going vertical on hills, increases throw range and increases movement speed when slowed by any source. Eliminating armor differences in stamina would be insane on top of the rest of that. It’s already good

Crazy idea that won't get implemented: The Galactic War Room
The players have suggested many warplans on reddit over the lifetime of Helldivers 2, but they don't reach enough people so that they could actually be executed. With the Galactic War Room, the players could suggest warplans that the players would democratically vote on and would become visible in-game. There is also a lot of important information that is not available in game (e.g. the effect of SEAF training camps on liberation, the Draupnir gambit and how liberation works), these things could be also seen in the Galactic War Room.
I'm not at all sure how this could be implemented and how it would fit in the lore, but it would be cool.
If a clan system comes along, I think the leaders of the clan can probably make some pins on the map so that the clan knows what to do
Helldivers do not command, they follow the orders of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Truth.

After so many months I can proudly say that I haven't crashed once the past 2-3 weeks at all. I would say they're actually improving the game immensly. Of course I can't talk for everyone but this it is a good development for me.
The fact alone that Arrowhead is listening to the community, makes them one of the greatest developer Studios existing today.

That's because they're managing a LIVE SERVICE game.
Try that with a game that isn't fueled by live service.....you won't be getting the same results.
They're now listening to the playerbase because they have lost so many players by ignoring them during the first few months of launch.

This recent major order I think was really just them seeing where the playerbase is at since we failed the last kill 2 bill and 3 bill

I think it should be mandatory to shout "GET TO DA CHOPPAA" when u are gonna extract on gacrux and u are in the predator armor. Fun fact the viper commando warbond was released on the same day the predator was released in theaters

I found out about the flare strategem in the strategem hero minigame on a random's ship lol, I thought that this is even cooler than night vision, liberty to be shown to everyone from the skies equally
You can see the illumination flare in game on the stratagem hero!!
One thing I really want to see is taking multiple of the same stratagem. Helldivers 1 let us do it after all. I’m talking four 380 barrages to effectively cut the cooldown in four. Stuff like that.
It would increase the player power and overall enjoyment, and having multiple high demolition stratagems would allow the player to handle more tense situations so difficulty could be increased (without that big of a backlash regarding bad guns/strats)

We sort of can (doubling up on free strategem and personal), but yes.
@@sinteleon sadly that’s just temporary, though it proves they can do it. Maybe to not make it so overpowered they could only allow two of the same strat, as it does happen sometimes
Well they are talking about the platoon system and hiw they might add some shared platoon strategems, so that could be another way they add this kind of flexibility
That could be fun, I think you run some challenges though. Like what if all four team members all brought four 380 barrages. My computer isn't bad but I don't think it could handle the epicness of 16 simultaneous 380 barrages haha!
They'd definitely need to consider some sort of cap or if some stratagems cannot have multiple copies if they did that because I feel like you could abuse things like turrets to just obliterate any actual threat bugs or bots present.
Always the challenge with these things right?
We need a new Orbital upgrade: "Adds a second barrel" (1 extra use per coodown)
Affected stratagems: rail cannon, precision, smoke, gas, EMP, or any single shot orbital SG.
Didnt really think about the orbital flare being used as for planetary modifier and available as a mission stratagem. That's kinda cool
The riot shield should not only block all melee and ranged damage, it should be electrified so if a bug hits it, they get stunned

I had someone tell me this in response to my comment saying i died because not enough ammo to ward off the bugs and bug reinforcements with these words: "well you wouldn't run outta ammo if you chose to NOT shoot things that YoU DoNt NeeD To ShoOt" as if hunters never had the ability to close the 100 meter gap in a literal 2 seconds the moment they decide to confirm your biology and attack...not to mention IMPOSSIBLE to outrun...😐
I would like:
- Rearm mechs with pelican1.
- exchange samples + requisition to any other sample, just to have something to use up.
- more ways to modufy loadouts, e.g. have 3 slots per weapon and strategem to modify them, rather than ship module ( or make that a slot sytem).
Ballistic shield against melee attacks must exchange defense by your stamina
Going to be honest, im getting sick of bug major orders. I wish they would implement positive gameplay modifiers for doing MOs to encourage people to do bot orders
I want to say orbital scatter modifier is a pain lol I've accidentally taken out my teammates because of it
You know you don’t have to do the big MOs? Just play bots. Bug players ignore bot MOs all the time lol
Yeh bugs are annoying. And bot players help with bug MO but much less so the other eay around. Which i dont get cuz the bots are much more fun to fight and are better designed

For those of us who played Stratagem Hero, the Orbital Illumination Flare is something we already knew about, it's been in the game since day one.
What if multiple "black holes", as popularly theorized, act as "warp gates" and create supply lines/could lead to enemy factions strategically leaping across the entire galactic map! Imagine the bugs jumping into the Meridia black hole only to pop up next to Bot planets!

The commando is a perfect weapon.
I only tried it once, but the ballistic shield seems to tank charges from a charger. Didn't get knocked down or take damage. Only the shield took damage.
I remember that some weeks ago the leak stratagem could be seen in the console minigame of the ship (the one that gives you buying the deluxe edition of the game). I dont know if you could still see it.

5:35 I want to point out it's called a ballistic shield as in its meant to shield you from getting shot its in the name
The game is one step forward and one step back. They wait to release a massive patch that introduces things that people asked for but also released a ton of bugs while also not fixing major bugs. This was also done after before their “Swedish summer break”, so it is taking a while to fix the bugs. I still think they need to buff more primaries and stratagem.
It would be nice if the ballistic shield blocked (or reduces) acid shots from spewers

Hear me out, a new giant Godzilla sized enemy type would be crazy to fight, maybe we could pilot eagles and bomb a massive bug or smt, or fire on it with our super destroyer

@@denhawken No a godzilla sized Bug would be more than a hivelord. It would maybe be some Kind of scorpion/Spider like Bug that is just giant and like a factorystrider It would deploy troops from itself
@Redbaron1609 apparently you haven't seen the leaks. And I played with a tester... it's huge and I've seen the 10000 k bomb to deal with it.
A good hint about the flare was also that it was yellow in the stratagem hero game from launch. I've been waitin for it.

Maybe an armor set that actually lets you reload 'UN-reloadables' say at the cost of grenades?
One mech that I would be super excited to get is an anti-air mech. Something along the lines of an Aegis mech that can shoot seeking missiles to aid against fliers. Sure it would be able to attack ground units, but it would excel against air critters and gunships
Samples are not currency, Super Earth does not have samples to trade. We find these on missions and hand them in to SE in exchange for ship tech, it would make no sense to have an exchange system with samples. Req. Slips are rewards from SE for a job well done, again for the diver to exchange for better gear. Neither of these would make sense, lore wise, to have exchange systems. However, I do think we should be able to use the samples and Req. Slips for other, less tactical items, such as decoration on our ships and other fun additions, similar to how you get the Strat Hero game unlocked for the premium version of the game etc. I would also like to see a sort of achievements or memories board on a wall somewhere, to show all the special MOs that the player has taken part in, so you can chart the history of your war record. FYI, I still think it's weird that you get the MO medals awarded to you even if you played no part on the effort to win it, IMO.
Backpack fed mini gun that can be used most effectively when prone.
Not the Hivelord, probably the bile charger variant or dragon shrieker that have been found in the files
You should suggest using resources for additional boosters for a match. So with 4 players you get 4 booster, then you can pay resources to get a 5th or 6th booster for the match
It would be nice to be able to donate requisition slips and samples to the war effort. Maybe a certain cap of resources donated by the community could be used to build seaf recruitment centers which would buff our liberation percentages fighting against enemy forces percentages
One cosmetic item i would like to see is what destiny 2 did to their shader system and having the option to have different color armor and having different shader or armor patterns to use on planets like having winter camo or woodland camo or desert camo would be a nice feature to have in the game
I really want to see advancements on stealth gameplay like stealth takedowns, suppressed weapons, stealth stratagems, etc.
I love this game but I like the capture/defense rates need to be changed since we've only got about 45,000 to 52,000 concurrent players. It feels like we're only capturing or defending a planet when we've get 10,000 or more divers on a planet. Which... for me is painful having to watch us lose more ground in either front when we get relentlessly attacked and lose planets that we literally can't retake unless there's a push by the playerbase. Watching the Trigon and Mirin sectors fall again literally sunk my drive to play this game.
I'm just wishing for a barricade stratagem, imagine barricade + shield generator + mortar sentries combo and the possibility of it serving as support to improve your machinegun handling/aiming.
I think we will see the hive lords in the planets we destroyed nurseries on which would be a great way for the bugs to jump planets
Helldiver Sponsorships:
For 10 medals a helldiver can "sponsor" other players' missions. Giving the 10 medals initially will permanently reduce resupply strategem cooldown by half for the rest of the mission. The sponsor can also purchase up to 3 temporary strategems at 50%off discount with requisition slips that can be used by all players in mission and will all share the cooldown. The sponsor should be able to go into spectator mode if they wish, or just purchase what they want and leave. If the mission is successful and the helldivers succeed in extracting, the sponsor will gain the xp and sample rewards also given to those who started the game(sponsors should not receive medals, slips, or any other lootables on the map like super credits), unsuccessful missions will only reward the appropriate xp. Samples should be used to "fund weapons and tactical research" using 100 samples, 50 rare samples or 15 super samples to aid in the liberation of a planet. Each batch accepted will count as if you competed a single mission (IE 100 rare samples = 2 successful mission completions).
Don't think spectator mode will be a thing, gameplay is peer-to-peer and we know how stable that has been.
Imagine now that there are up to 4 more players connecting to watch...

if you play the mini game you geton your ship with super citizen there is a stratagem right right left left and thats the flair i wasnt sure but yh thats been there for a while too
I would love to exchange resources. I'm level 125 and I'm constantly capped (not now since tier 5 ship upgrades have unlocked). Dumping samples/requisition slips to get mission bonuses or extra stratagems would be amazing.
Actually had the game randomly kick me back to the destroyer without any text pop up at all today. First time since the patch before the most recent one. Haven't been stuck in the forever falling loading screen bug since then either so I feel like they're doing something right
Max resources could be remedied by giving us options to defend planets by sending resources. I have suggested this to the devs with no response, but it seems like it would be a pretty cheap and quick solution (Though I know nothing about game dev).
I haven't gotten the game yet. But if the ballistic shield does get fixed and improved to resist melee attacks from bugs and automatons, I would LOVE to use it to bash them back.
Heck I'm even wondering when melee weapons will be incorporated like some RUclipsrs have been talking about.
IT would be great if similar to Eagle we could request a Pelikan to lift up the mech that runs out of ammo for rearming and reset the ammount od mechs that can be called for the rest od mission (od course if he is not destroyed).
My biggest issue is the resource cap, i get it but they fill so quickly and after that i have little incentive to play. The hours i put in just to afford a ship module upgrade is such a wasted grind. Id play more if i felt I'd benefit when the games updated

Probably because he was hired to do the business side of the company, and not development.
It's probably him who handles the contact with Sony now instead, while Pilestedt is handling the dev side.

I’ve been maxed out on everything for awhile and haven’t even played in 2 weeks.
This game gets a little better every week, but I've been loving since I first played it.
Whenever I skip a week, it feels like I have missed out on something new every time.
Being able to deploy with multiple mechs isn't a worry for me, I would much rather have a way to rearm and repair a mech during a mission.
Increase the damage for the Plas-Purifier a bit and give it a scope.
Support equipment: Rising Banner of the Patriots
A flag with a relay beacon embedded.
Significantly reducing fatalities from most friendly bombardment around the Helldiver carrying the flag by avoiding direct fire on their position.
With a Super Earth flag at the heart of the conflict mechanics and fleet personals are inspired to work harder for the heros on the ground. 10% cool down on other stratagems while flag is equipped.
During extraction, the pilot is able to locate and navigate more effectively to the landing area with the additional data relayed from the Banner of the Patriots.
30 second reduction on extraction.
But enemies will be more aware and aggressive towards the Flag carrier and anyone near it.
Flare seems like a good idea, but I think it'll need to be a bit brighter

i want on-map counter play (with a chance to reverse the negative) for ALL planetary-passives.
hell if need be add a "tertiary objective" system for those passives so we can move from "gon get whacked" to "situation normalising" to "draw the enemies over here, they are in for a surprise".

I have this weird feeling that the mechs are coded to all be in game already, placed behind the super destroyers. Maybe display=0, but then appears when called. That's why we shouldn't have 4, that could mean 16 mechs in map. 😂

i need a balistic shield buff, im currently working towards a full balistic shield build (defender, grenade gun, butcher armor) and it would be good if i could use it against bugs instead of it being useless.
My squad and I were squashing bugs and even when we got to extraction we just held extraction until timer ran out blowing up everything we could….
So sorry for completing the award too quickly. 🤣

Before we get the ballistic shield blocking melee damage, I want it to stop making me take 1000x impact damage from a stay explosive. I love this stratagem but it's so buggy and more of a hazard by this point.
I did notice I’m getting less crashes now. Before the patch I would crash every other game.

Since the delay between warbonds is longer i expect those to be longer as well, just like the first one, so instead of only 3 pages of rewards we should get 9 or 10 of those.
Let us upgrade our resource stockpile hold at least. Capping rare samples at 250 is insane to me.

I wonder if they'll ever implement a map that has multiple sets of enemies. Like Bugs and Bots both trying to take the same world. Wandering patrols duking it out with each other while we quietly (while screaming democracy as the S.E.A.F Handbook says we should) take care of our orders between them. That would be amazing.

Having Both Mechs and Increasing the Ammo or at least be able to resupply ammo for The Mech.
Helldivers is definitely improving. It’s in a state where it’s relatively fun and doesn’t crash, so that’s a big win imo. I don’t think we’ll ever get to the a new all time peak in players, but hopefully with more and more content introduced the game will recover a little

The way more than half of our player base consistently bug dives has me thinking our M.O. will not be successful
I have no issues with the game. No tech issues, I do agree with the resources, I am always maxed out on Requisitions, I do grind for Rare and Super Samples though which keeps me engaged too
Mech only missions, 4 mechs against chargers, titans, hulks, walkers.
A mission type that only involves fighting the biggest enemies. Would be fun 🤔
I doubt it’ll be the hive lord. No models in the files are hinting at them. The skeletons are a reference to HD1 for veteran players. If people are gonna get so overhyped then the next update (that won’t bring hive lords) will be a disappointment to them.
So my advice is don’t. Don’t get so hyped for something that doesn’t even have a bare bones model in the files.
I play the game less so I don't max out my samples. I got 2 more upgrades until I get to that stage again so if they could do samples for whatever they got in store sooner than later after summer break I'd be a regular again

The game needs some new form of exploration/progression. Having to wait weeks between scripted events in game, and potentially missing out on them leaves me just feeling like the war isnt going anywhere. Having missions or events on planets with cool events in them, or maybe more random encounters that could show up on missions would go a long way i think.

Just a helpful tip mate. Keep away from spoilers. Doing so will save you from disappointment. These leaks are "possible items" none is guaranteed, some are tests and failed tests. Some probably will be a year or more out. Just please when you end up disappointed blame youtube and yourself, not the devs.

That's why I think that to make the missions of exterminating Terminidos more interesting, they should set the goal to 1 Billion, taking advantage of the number of bugs that appear and the number of players who choose that faction. BUT NOT with the automatons, we already saw what happened last time.
I 100% agree with the exchange thing. After a certain level, there is no reason to even collect common samples or rec. Let us exchange for democracy!
Well I hope they introduce the baby ones first.
