Was very excited what the V70/Rainbow was gonna offer as the V60 was already great, but now we will never know. Truly a disappointment. I blame the tech community (most) for bashing LG as an average or sucky brand and the followers who just took their word for it.
The camera is so freaking awesome since the Android 11 update. I quit using my s21 ultra or pixel 5 for pics and videos now. I still get over 11 hrs sot every single day.
One of my choices was to get Samsung S21 Ultra one day .. Just wondering what do u dislike about S21 Ultra especially in the Camera department please 🙏🏼 the Ultra Zoom is one of the Big Reasons thinking about S21 Ultra. Thanks
I am using the v60 for last two months and I am very happy with the rear camera however I did not like the front camera. How is the front camera compared to Samsung S 21 ultra or IPhone 12 ?

Nah you have to wait until LG push out OS updates. The app store only do app updates not security patches, bug fixes and OS updates. That coming from LG .

Well.... I miss the Raw Video capabilities. Raw photo is good but unlike the lgv30, the newer phones are lacking this "Flag Ship" feature to me in that sense.
Even if LG stops updating it, Google will still support it for many years through the Play store. It won't have the latest version of Android, but Google will still push out core services and app updates for many years to come. Even some security updates can now be pushed in this way (since android 10).
Got one coming from Swappa, only costs $299 with tax shipped! Hopefully it's in good enough condition. Great deal for this device. Lg v60 should be getting Android 12 too.
I got mine there almost a year ago for $450. One of the best purchases I ever made. With normal use I still get two days out of the battery. I never fast charge it though 😉

The overview is great, but I would disagree about your argument in the end of the video when you said that, your only negative experience about this phone that LG will not provide any other phones. Lol, I guess that makes v60 a unique thing, last piece. That makes it even more valuable

But man the cameras on v60 are so much better! I've been looking at the s21 ultra and oneplus 9 pro but yeah, just not convinced theres a reason to switch at this point. For the similar price, i can get LG V60 without dual screen, Samsung S20 FE 5G Snapdragon but only 6gb ram, and S20 FE 4G Snapdragon with 8gb ram. But in my country 5G seems like a bit long waiting to fully conected to the main city. Which one would you choose?

@@TheTechPreacher the not requested opinion: I think that if the phone had a back finger sensor it should be considered THE SMARTPHONE. Just to let you know I'm a 'fan' of LG Top Tier smartphones. From LG Nexus 4 to the LG V60 I always tried to find valid competitors to the LGs I was interested on in specif periods of time. I never found a smartphone that marked, as much as the LG referenced one, the options I was interested most.

I wouldn't believe that from any company. They change all of the time. They aren't legally obligated to provide support for these devices. Besides, LG made public proclamations in the past about improving their software updates and they didn't live up to those promises. I really like this phone and had the Verizon version (sold due to how crippled the Verizon version of this phone is). I'm considering it again when I switch carriers. However, as stated in the video, 2022 is a crap shoot and I'm unsure if I want to take the risk. It took LG several months to fix the fingerprint reader bug in some, but not all, versions of the V60. That's the kind of crap that has plagued them for years and contributed to their demise.
just got the phone even knowing LG phones in done... I don't even know what my s7 was running.. definitely older version.. what I'm most happy about this phone right now is the FM radio via headphone jack.. that may come in handy when fishing or something.
I notice that the Android market in the US is getting smaller and smaller. Are there any other brands than Samsung that are worth the money? With LG out of the market, this is not good.
I don't agree with you on the update front. I think the V60 will get the same kind of support as the V50 did. Which wasn't great but wasn't terribly either. Just because the mobile department closed doesn't mean that LG won't be honouring it's promise because they still got a reputation to protect.
Thank you for PROVING the V60 has the best camera if you use manual mode, by comparing Auto to manual, No, It's not a fair comparison, but then, you don't get the V60 for the auto mode. So many compare auto to auto and don't show the potential of manual mode with it. or people mention manual mode can beat the S21 but don't show comparisons to prove it.

I almost got one from swappa last month but paypal was their sole payment option which takes 2 days to set up so I got it on amazon for $365.
I told my wife that my V-20 can get blacks as deep as the LG v60 display then I turned the V20 off to prove it.
