@@ernpible9590 her court conviction for cyber libel. Her report on a LP caravan in Bicol of 4000 vehicles. when people proved that the number wasn’t true, the article was later taken down. Survey published by rappler, also proven wasn’t true, also taken down after. Rappler even apologized about this survey.
It’s very easy for pinklawan to call someone a troll, but they themselves are trolls. Look at the past elections goolge trends, mentions about Leni are positive but for BBM mostly are negative. Bbm camp and supporters won’t say negative things about their candidate, so where did that negative mentions came from?
Even during the showing of MIM and Katips, it’s the same. Mentions about MIM are mostly negative but Katips are positive.
There are also many post that instead of simply mentioning Marcos or BBM, the post will say Narcos or 88M.
These are my proofs that your hypocritic camp has organized troll farms.

I saw a documentary on Maria Ressa - and had never heard of her before. I was blown away by this woman's courage and could not stop crying because of all she's been going through. I'm honored to be living during her lifetime!

I heard, watched Maria since 90's and the 2000's. I always admire her work. I am not surprised on her works now, I am proud of her that she is still true to her values even faced with death threats. She is a someone worthy to be called a hero.

How can she be appreciated in the Philippines, she represents a very elitist mentality in the country, with absolutely no concern for the common good but only for the notoriety of her job and her company's sensationalist reporting. And I am not even a fan of the previous administration and I absolutely don't have any regard for this lady.
What's also sad is if you try to explain with as much reason and patience, lalo in the hopes that people understand or appreciate better, a lot of them say the worst at you as if you did something wrong.

Shared reality. It's really something that we have to work on.
When 90% of our children 10 years old and below are suffering from learning poverty ( cannot read or comprehend what they are reading) how can we expect them to become critically aware citizens who can distinguish lies from truth and make enlightened decision like choosing leaders? Unless there is a revolutionary transformation of our educational system we will remain the same or even deteriorate over time!
If nothing works outside the home, homeschool your own children. Learning starts at home. I homeschooled my children because I wanted them to have prayer time, since the education system here took God out of school. Nothing in this world is more important than learning about the Judeo-Christian Truth especially how much God loves us and our salvation through Jesus. Don't just rely on any man made system especially if it doesn't work. There are libraries and book stores, educate yourself and your children.
I support Ms. Maria Ressa for continuing to fight for the democracy.

At the end of the day, regardless of the complications of the matter, where do you hold the line? You may hate her or Thunberg and say that the Nobel prize is already politically rigged and biased, but at the end of the day, these are the people who knew their line, and held it.

On the islands of the Philippines, my great, smaller-sized lady, Medie Greager was from that place as well. She said she was one of 11-12 kids and left them. Her dad caned her as a punishment once only. Moved to California and started over. She had been a long haired beautiful girl. These days, as a granny-she is like this high-spirited gal, who won a Nobel Peace prize in 2021. Thank you for this treat today CBS news.. and Gayle King. ❤️

@@daviansdad5938 Ressa was convicted in June last year in a cyber libel case filed by businessman Wilfredo Keng over a 2012 article that linked a businessman to illegal activities. again not duterte, not marcos.

The court is impartial. She is not fighting the government but the court that convicted her of libel filed by an ordinary citizen whom she maligned and demonized that resulted for his business to collapse and his family life destroyed. She herself is the living testament that the dictator she is taking about exist only in her mind. She is not in prison, never jailed, never persecuted, never barred from living and entering the country, never stopped from talking. The dictator she wants us to believe won in a democratic election and stepped down after his 6 years term without any violence, force, intimidation or chaos.
So what dictatorship is she talking about? And who is that dictator she is standing against?

Tuesday a.m. 11/29/22OMG, I WISH Gayle King would stop interrupting interviewees! She did it to Jill Schlesinger a few minutes ago, and this a.m. interrupted that poor man whose child had died of brain cancer at the worst possible time! making it all about Gayle and her tears and went on and on at a point where I really wanted to hear what he was saying.

That is a common fault in many interviewer; so intent on making an impact w/ their questioning, they fail to allow their guest to round out their thoughts.
It is a talent to be able to fully listen.
We want to hear their answers.
It's the chip thing... on the shoulder thing...
@@synchronicity1470 Seems folks forget tv interviews areTIMED. This was one small segment in a larger show. Not an hour long sit-down interview. Say you've got 15 min with Ressa and there are 4 important questions you want answers to that make the info shared more relatable.? Do you let her spend the bulk of her talk answering one question? No! She took 3 mins answering it. Now you're down to 12 mins and 2 other people also have questions. Now you've only got 5 minutes left and 2 of your questions unanswered. Depending on the question, the interviewee may spend 3 minutes responding. Keep in mind too, the interviewee has a hard out time and you will not get a chance to ask her anything off camera either. You've got to make the best of that time. So yes, sometimes you may interrupt the interviewee when they are running long on a response.

how much did they pay CBS to get her on there.
They don’t call you to be on the show if you have no integrity and certainly will not pay you. You get invited. They might pay for your accommodation before the show and transportation to get to the show.
Why? Do you want to be interviewed too? I doubt she made money out of this. Although, she's promoting a new book. She'd get money for that. Maybe write a book? One of those For Dummies books would be perfect ☺️
