Really best explanation how to learn it! I have a question, all the time wondering what is the diffrence between rodeo and flatspin. I know that rodeo is more like a backflip but as shown on this video could that flat5 on big jump call a rodeo5? Legs are over your head. It would be great to see a video explaning the diffrences between those two. Especially on fwt or just on bc - if you do a „flipped backflip” everybody calls „flat3” but isnt it rodeo3? (Backfliped usually)
Cheers man ! Yeah this discussion is so old haha... so TO ME and my friends here and basically everyone around my country etc... we call this trick in the video a flatspin. The one on the big jump could actually technically be a rodeo 5 , as you said - yeah im quite inverted there. To me the rodeos are any of those that are taken off like a backflip - flippy and backwards. I totally mean what you know with that "flipped backflip" and calling it a flat 3, absolutely this is actually technically a rodeo 3 and not a flatspin. But i guess so many people call this crooked backflip a flatspin - which makes no sense to us. I guess it is how it is , maybe i can do a video in the future on it :)
Well it certainly does work this way too with stopping it but it’s just sketchier to Land nicely. For a flat 3 you rather want to go more backwards and leading hips with barely any upper body rotation. Think of it more as a crooked backflip. I’ll try to get a video out for it this season !
Hey Gucci ! Regarding the answer for if you can or can't do it...i'm not able to safely answer that. But i assume you can do 180s,360s,540s and frontflip. You technically should be able to if you "feel" the trick and can visiualize it in your head. :) find some soft snow or windlips to try it out first if you're unsure

if you want to do a flat 360, do you use the same approach and just stop the rotation or do you have to change your approach?
