One more tip I always do to work on tail grab is to do it while on the charlift. Arm behind the seat, shifty + heel up and boom you grab your tail without having to look. Good for the proprioception of that grab ✌️
These are by far the best sk instructional videos I’ve ever seen. They are super detailed, informative, and entertaining. Jens is awesome and my number one bucket list item is to ski with him someday - hopefully at a Stomp It camp.
Another great video Jens! Keep making these! I am trying to learn the 360 tail grab and was looking at your previous videos, then suddenly BOOM advanced guide to the 360 tailgrab! Now I’ll have to Stomp It this season!
Jen’s been following this channel for a long time and I have to say the production value here never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for sharing your invaluable knowledge to help us ski
I want to learn the iron cross (and 360 combined)… very well explained💪🏻👍🏻 shifty, knee drop, tail grab, grab-ski under, and progress from there… shame that the season 23/24 is almost done🙃 I love your videos!!! Still in the park at 46 now with my 13 son🥰🤩
you helped me so much through the season. I popped my first rail. that's the top of my season. since that I had the chance to pratice it 4 nights. next season, I will work again and will listen your video to help. thank you a lot
You should make a video telling how to judge the speed you need for a jump, for example i go skiing every weekend to a different mountain each time, and I dont have all day to practice jumping, since i also want to do some other sking, and the hardest part for me about jumping is judging the speed you need, like when you did that butter, I would also like to try that but i just don’t know the speed that i need, it would be very helpful if you made a video about how to judge the speed you need for jumps.
Jens, thank you, you do the great job. I've started learning freestyle basing on your videos. And here I can see a little mistake while you're doing spready, your legs aren't fully extended while poping up))) I noticed it becouse I have trouble with my legs not fully extended while poping up, thanks to your video when you show the common mistakes of the skiers and I made an accent on extending my legs.
That video was very helpfull, I've been struggling with getting the 360 tails and these tips help me majorly, thanks for the tip and keep the advanced videos coming.
Thanks for the awesome video. I love being able to follow my passion of skiing even if I can’t do it in real life due to living in one of the least snowy countries on earth!
Hey Jens, nice video as always! i've bought the BC100 at the start of this season and i love it! But i think the mount of the bindings is not at the right place.. what mounting do you recommend for this ski? im more off piste than in the park but i love to have a playful ski for butters and stuff like that..
which length bent chetlers are you rocking? And what is your height? I have the same exact skiis 188 long, I myself am 187cm tall. I also am rocking the shift bindings as they are my one quiver skiis but I am little afraid of using them in the park, as I am not sure they will hold up against occasional park use.
hey I am having a really hard time doing a shifty on the slopes, I’m new to freestyle skiing and its not really natural for me. Any tips ? I understand that I need to rotate the upper body one side and my legs the others, but even when I think about it while jumping, I’m not able land it.
Hes uploaded a video titled “how to think about where to mount your ski bindings” and talks a lot about his bent Chetlers and where he thinks the best mounting position for them is

”The only ski trick you need to know” The most accurate video titel of a RUclips video in 2022😂 Thanks once again for quiality content😎
I love this type of progression video!
Man, these are dope - the way you describe the movements and mental attitude is dope. You're dope.
I think you are likely to be dope too :) Thank you 🥰
Super sick video! I have just learnt 360's and tail grabs but I just need to tie them together. Your videos have helped heaps so thanks!
Great to hear! Good luck putting it all togehter :) /Jens
I love your videos! Could you make one on jump turns? Would love to learn some drills and progression techniques. ❤️

Great idea!

Awesome videos. Any tips for getting used to bigger air? These look like huge features to be learning on to me lol
Cork 5 tail grab (trailing) is my ultimate goal

His skis look really short compared to his height. I'm using 181cm Season Kin's at 177cm tall.
How often do people drop their skis too slowly and ending up hitting their knees against the slope? I'm wondering if I should get knee pads...
Can u do the same vid for the 360 mute
is leading or trailing easier to learn first for 360?
this was great keep it up
i dont understand the people who dislike this type of vids they haters fr
Thx for the vid

Wonder if this is recommended for men of a certain age. It looks fun.
Hey Jens what kind of skis do you have?
Hi. Very interesting exercises! Is it Atomic Bent Chetler 100 you are driving? What is bindings position?
I have the Bent Chetler 100 as well and my bindings are central. I think it's better if you like staying in the park most of the time
Hes uploaded a video titled “how to think about where to mount your ski bindings” and talks a lot about his bent Chetlers and where he thinks the best mounting position for them is
I ski about minus 2cm from center
thanks!
Hey Jen’s I was working on my shifty’s yesterday, and I’m struggling to keep my skis close to each other when I do the rotation. Any tips?
How can I practice this without dying?
what camera do you use?
pulled this banger in front of my crush and lets just say she had a special treat for me ;)
I've got BC Atris 184 i myself am 180 also I am ligh as feather. I have been struggling with tricks may skis have affect on it?
i have a question if i would get the atomic Bent chetler 100 then should i remove some of the edges to do rails and pipes
Could you do a bio tutorial?
Could I bio? No. I can switch bio 9 and 10 but bio forwards is damn hard. But maybe i should learn it and make a video about me learning it.
very good! we re 3 friends for a freeride camp, are you offering any other week from 19feb onwards?
thx!
No not before 2023
Ты лучший :)
Please do a 360 mute next!!
Hi, there. Jens, how much the bindings on your skis are shifted from the factory marks?
My park bent chetlers are -2cm from center which is like +5 from reccomended.

Where can I find that jacket?
Mammut La Liste jacket :)
Maybe but ski names to description please
What do you mean?
Thought it would be lip blind 2
What resort are you skiing at?
Laax, Switzerland
My mind: I got this. My body: No you don't
I can 360 and i can tail grab but can’t do em together😔
He makes it look so easy 😢
How are there no people?

What you call a shifty, we old guys called twisters!
Its a good name
360 Tail is the only trick? Nah I think it's Lip on B2 like it's always been. Get your facts straight😁
Your wrong you should be teaching lip on blind 2
Haha that is also a very good feeling trick :)
