I've always thought this, too...
*Would my guitar (and other cool stuff) magically appear in heaven, too? Or am I just sitting around, floating on a cloud for eternity, with no activities to do?
*Would I be stuck with certain family members (who I rather not really hang out with for even 1 hour) for eternity?

Begs the question why a supposed omnipotent god would need to be praised. All powerful and full of itself. Perhaps has a bad memory and needs to be repeatedly reminded of its supposed accomplishments.

....and the only form of entertainment would be to occasionally peek over the edge of the heavenly landscape so that you may gloat at the misfortunes of your self-imposed 'enemies' who roil in a cauldron of fire; for eternity. Some 'heaven' that would be, particularly to the poor soul whose only concept of an afterlife would entail to be sat on a stage dedicated a singing competition TV-show in front of an adoring audience, for eternity.

Not only would it be boring, but it would be the most emotionally unfulfilling thing I could imagine.
I enjoy the sad nostalgia of reflecting on my dead family members.
The full range of human emotion is an amazing gift, and we shouldn't hope that we lose all ability to feel sadness, remorse, the painful kind of love, or even the ability to think malevolent thoughts and experience spiteful anger, jealousy and envy.
Those things make the whole event worth having. We're born into a wild party, but for some reason people want to start planning their exit so they can go home and be bored and unfulfilled.

Plus what about those friends and people that would be suffering in hell (including me). That would start to (immediately) weigh on your mind.

Being an atheist you gotta be *objective* though, right? And if you want to say something against a believer, you gotta see things from their prospective. All scriptures says that whatever you`d be doing there, you`d be happy. Look at the junkies, they lay on the sofa all day long when the high, and they wouldn`t trade it for basejumping or anything like that. you know what I mean. I don`t really think that quote of his is anything more than just mocking of child level. Not trying to be rude o smartass her, you just gotta be objective at all times, all I`m saying. That exactly what separates us from believers.
