- This is a popular turn on the indpendant drive section of the driving test. Its also a common problem for drivers. I explain the correct way to deal with the lane changes and the correct lanes to take on the roundabout. Please leave a comment if you have any questions or are unclear.
Really helpful 👍 would love more on the test roads then need done in a specific non obvious way, been doing this road for years and only learnt now how to do it correctly👍
Good vid. Can’t believe people STILL don’t follow this direction.
Thank you so much for your videos
That right lane when leaving the lights and you move over to the left which I do if there are no buses coming. What happens if a car from the left goes straight across when it clearly say not to use to go mutly and you have a crash, who is in the wrong?
Why they changed the road lay out beats me.
What if you can’t get over though?
If you can't get over the you move into the second lane also marked mutley. Then once you have left the roundabout then move across to left hand lane as soon as its safe to do so.
Both lanes for mutley after you leave the lights.
Roads are laid out to drive from the left. So that right hand lane is for overtaking, turning right at the next set of lights or if there are busses coming down from the left as you approach. Hope this helps
Poor you living here
