Your thoughts on summer match mine exactly. Tight clothes, heat, crowds of people---who needs any of that!!?? I too have decided that this year I will have a different attitude towards this season. Living on the Saskatchewan prairies is very challenging for me as we get very long heat waves here. Right now we have had above 30 degrees for over a week. I have to get up early every morning to walk my dogs before it gets too hot. Doing my best to focus on what I enjoy about this time of year though. Have a lovely week

I love writing down my favorite recipes. Completely agree about the overwhelming blog formats of many recipe sites. I also like to write down the year I've added a recipe, so I can look back and see kind of a timeline of my baking (I don't usually write down cooking recipes because I'm mostly an improviser). Some recipes I've been baking for 15 years, and I'm 36 so that's a big portion of my life. Also that new green color looks lovely on you.
I go to Scotland regularly, my special place. I find they r lacking in fruit and veg but good on cute gifts for sure. Last time I went struggled to find any good quality, fresh veggies, so much so I was dreaming of coming back to my allotment and farm shops down south. Surprised not more people grow veg up North

Loved your video so much, your afternoon movie watching was really inspiring to me, how cosy you made it and how you were caring for yourself! I too agree that online recipes are shouty and jump around all the time because of ads, I tend to print recipes out I use often but like the idea of a book of them, and perhaps copying and pasting the recipe into a document until you ‘decide’ it is used enough to write out (thus eliminating the jumping adverts but not committing to writing it out!). I think of Pride and Prejudice (Keira Knightley version!) as summery for some reason, I think it’s the dresses! Have a lovely summer week ☀️
I love Loch Morlich! I’ve not seen it so quiet though, the last time I was there it was a sunny bank holiday weekend and I didn’t realise how popular our camping spot would be!! love the Organic Basics range xxxx
Oh the recipe tip is so good! I hate all those adverts on recipe sites. Sometimes the recipe is so far down the page that you can’t even get to it! BBC good food is ok but it still has pop ups. Thanks for sharing this idea. Also for the silicone moulds - I must swap from the disposable ones.

What an enchanting farm shop! Why are mugs so hard to resist? I've currently put myself in "mug probation" because I have too many. I would have made an exception for the dandelion mug and picked it up too!
Your videos definitely make me want to explore Scotland more. I love wild swimming so I would have been in the loch I also have a mug problem, especially when I find a nice one in the charity shop. I’ve started taking the particularly good ones that won’t fit in my own cupboards to work now so my colleagues benefit.
I would love you to do a video or a video segment that shows us how you tied that blue T. shirt over your dress. It's beautiful but I'm afraid I'm not good at that kind of thing

Have you tried coconut sugar ? Bit pricey but good when trying to reduce processed cane sugar.
Not tried it yet but heard its a good alternative so will have to add it to my pantry :)
