I'm starting to wonder if peoples monitor/TV quality is the issue. My tvs like 6 years old at least and my games still look the same as back in the day with better graphics obviously. But then like when I watch tv or a movie on a nicer TV it all looks fake. Like you can tell its all cgi and green and blah blah blah. A note on the clouds - you have to play on a higher graphic setting on PC to see realistic volumetric clouds. Ultra settings look impressive, even better than 5 in some details.

I think, if you say "remaster" then the game is basically giving a new look but keeping the feeling of the original San Andreas. The thing is, the original developer was too lazy to develop the expected remaster so they hired a gaming company which also ruined the 10 year anniversary remaster of the same game.
I`ve seen some comments with the Definitive edition should have been remastered on the Rage Engine(GTA V and RDR2 engine) but first you gotta learn the difference between a remake and a remaster. War drum studios and Rockstar would need to remake the definitive edition on the rage engine just to fit in the physics and shit from GTA 5 to the definitive edition, it wouldn`t be called a remaster if the definitive edition got remastered on the Rage engine because it would borrow all the things that GTA 5 has, making it a remake rather than a remaster. They used the Unreal engine yes, but they only added a few details and some new fancy graphics and performance but that wasn`t a remake but a remaster they didn`t remake all three games but built upon it and added some things into it and ruined shit, a remastered game is only a few graphical improvements and maybe a few details(like the objects that can be seen in garages in the DE) Mafia 2, 3 DE only had some improvements and thats about it.

War drum studios and Rockstar would need to remake the definitive edition on the rage engine just to fit in the physics and shit from GTA 5 to the definitive edition, it wouldn`t be called a remaster if the definitive edition got remastered on the Rage engine because it would borrow all the things that GTA 5 has, making it a remake rather than a remaster.
They used the Unreal engine yes, but they only added a few details and some new fancy graphics and performance but that wasn`t a remake but a remaster they didn`t remake all three games but built upon it and added some things into it and ruined shit, a remastered game is only a few graphical improvements and maybe a few details(like the objects that can be seen in garages in the DE) Mafia 2, 3 DE only had some improvements and thats about it.
