Quick update: I asked the Flappy Fighter devs why their game isn't on the App Store anymore. Apparently they got hit with a legal challenge and had to take the game down from the App Store while they navigate the legal waters. They say they're looking forward to getting it back online ASAP.
Stumblebee thanks for the update
What about Android
This video has been in my Watch Later for a while and im actually kind of disappointed that i chose to watch it today of all days
@@petscop2759 sorry fam ;(
if you receive news about this game again please reply to this comment. this game is so cool and i really wanna play it
woohoo!!! someone made a video of me ^__^
Android port now!!!!
Scrubs need to enjoy too😫
When's the android port I neeeeed this
Game looks great dude! Can't wait to play on Android! :D
Lol your game is like Street fighter 3rd strike because this move 4:19
PLS ANDROID PORT. THIS GAME MATTERS!
I’ve come back to this video and now I’m even more depressed that it’s gone
Sadly, this game won’t let me play it where I live 😭
sucks that they abandoned this game, it’s never coming back :(
This game feels very tight, thank you for recommending me this game. Had a lot of fun with it and I"m also hype for when new updates will come to this game!
Damn you weren't kidding, this game is probably the best fighting game on mobile ever made! The controls are just spot on and it still takes some skill! Like you can't just mash buttons, especially not on Medium or Hard difficulty!
Please support this game so we get more characters!!!!!!!! Get this game more known! Maybe one day we'll stop getting terri-BAD fighting games with god awful controls that try to emulate a standard control scheme.
I'm playing Tekken 6 with a psp emulator on Android and it's so addictive you should give it a try
I prefer doing it on the god tier PSP
@@jgn yeah I wish that I could play there
How about Marvel vs Capcom 2 on the dreamcast emulator for android?
My favourite mobile game is shadow fight 3...
but maybe I could try this game
I've played a lot of Samsho 2's mobile version. The control's don't really affect Ukyo much so playing with the most overpowered character is almost as easy as usual.
It’s funny how a flappy bird fighting game on mobile works better than MK and SF, I guess games that originated on mobile will have better fighting games than console fighting games going on mobile, I hope I’m wrong.
This game is even better than Street Fighter 5.
I remembered I waited idk 1 or 3 years just to get good characters in Mortal kombat mobile along side with Injustice mobile so I got bored with due it's just a tap and tap type of game so I downloaded the Mame4ndroid emulator on my phone download a lot of fighting games from Capcom, Snk more better
Thanks for introducing me to this game. It’s fun.
Marvel vs Capcom 2 is also one of the best fighting games that can be played in Mobile using emulator with simple controls
HEY HEY
there’s a free game on steam called
Ultra Fight Da Kyanta 2!!!
It’s not polished, or balanced.. But it’s still fun! and i wanted to know your thoughts on it!! it’s not very well known so i thought someone like you could open everyone’s eyes

@@FoxMan_FF Wait, they actually get "you're" right? I remembered it is "your."
Oh, I'm sure there's a your in there somewhere. Spelling and grammar aren't these ads' strong suits.
Case in point: I remember an ad for some shitty cannon game that had the caption "Have you the biggest _canon_ in town?".
I should note that Flappy Fighter just released an update with a new character, Splashy, with Ken's moveset, stepkick included. It looks amazing.
that means....
MORE COMBO POSSIBILITIES!!!!!!
King of fighters is an awesome fighting game app as well please check it out.
It has a full roster with 30 characters.
A story mode
And esay button specials so it easier to do fireballs
Stumblebee Just downloaded it yesterday after the update, can you play as the old character?
@@notarmani2347 not yet. It looks like the developer is doing mirror matches right now. But I don't think that he go through all the trouble and effort of developing characters if he wasn't eventually planning on making a character select screen

I've been enjoying Flappy Fighter. If it becomes a full-fledged fighting game with a roster and multiplayer, I'd support it!
Have you checked out Fighting Ex Layer-a? I think they sort of nailed mobile fighters too.
I haven't, but it's on the list! Fexl is pretty fun so I'd like to see how it translates to mobile
Stumblebee It's in the early stages but it has 4 playable characters, and the main mode is survival/ladder mode. Looking forward to what you think of it! *Subbed*
Childish SESH Dude, like I don't care if it starts as a shoto-based parody fighter since there's a handful shotos anyway, but this is a great start. :)
honestly, ive been having way too much fun with the skullgirls mobile version. progress at the start was very slow but once you get your fighters it becomes very fun, and even though it has very linear controls all the unique character abilities and moves add so much more to compensate for it. even though it is has microtransactions id say its a very F2P friendly game with no real paywall limiting you from anything.
Preach 💅🏼
Yeah. I fear it becoming more evil, but TBH I don't mind people pouring some cash into it if it keeps Lab Zero afloat.
@@NXTangl so far the game has been going for a long time now and hasnt become evil, unlike another CERTAIN mobile fighter *cough cough* shadow fighters *cough cough*
Theyve added a multiplayer competitive that isnt just "make your numbers high" and actually has a lot of depth to it!
I picked it back up again a few weeks ago and really tried to get some of my fighters ranked up, which was a hell of a lot of fun, and I also really love the competitive mode (when I don't get disconnected)
The problem is a spam blocking A.I that ruins the flow of the game, and it doesn’t help some fights are unplayable if you don’t have a specific character. So good game but with some problems that can sour the experience.
Flappy Fighter is the definitive mobile fighting game.
Prize fighters is also very good
Nothing about shadow fight 2?

I just hope that Capcom or the creators of Flappy Bird don't shut this game down before it reaches its full potential.
Jake White true. Just like Sega was up the alley with Bombergames to close Streets of rage remake
Pretty sure the creator of flappy bird hates his own game.

@@Vysair No, he removed it because he was getting constant death threats and spam from people who thought it was funny to get angry and bully that dude over a video game.

Been playing the Skullgirls mobile game for a while. It didn't feel as grindly as I thought it was, but the lack of depth I agree with.
That beeing said, that Flappy Fighter looks cool af. I'm gonna give it a try.
I must say The reason skullgirls has a energy system cuz its just addicting to play
p.s i also play it
Combos can get pretty intricate after a while, but the neutral game definitely needs a tweak. Just standing and blocking is too strong
Apparently the PVP mode’s going to have a guard gauge, so that partially deals with that issue at least
Yeah the pc version of Skullgirls is definetely better
^
@@juicyjuustar121 Again, the PC version has lots of controls, combos and different strategies you obviously could not use on a mobile without making it...impossibly complex.
If this game adds characters and online ranked and custom lobbies, this game will take over with no problem
messy They added a Ken character now so I can only guess they will be adding more Street Fighter like characters.
RandomDude yea I panned out splashy and he’s fun as hell. Hopefully there’s like a chooseable roster.
@divide two Parody law, my dude. Much like Flappy Fighter and "Appcom" themselves, as long as it's clearly a knockoff poking fun at the original, no permissions are required, as there's no copyright problem. Because, well... fair use.
Yea, then people can throw their phones to rage over laggy opponents if they didn't rage quit XD
Online ranked. On a flappy bird game.
Aight,aight
That’s kinda never gonna happen but I mean it’d be cool

Looks like the lil boyo never managed to get to the high difficulties smh
Yes let me make my character walk towards the enemy when in the TUTORIAL it teaches you to dash
He meant it's too simple, especially when compared to the original game.
@@Nernage well you can't have a screen full of buttons, plus considering that the PC version is based on memory and timing it would be almost impossible for someone from mobile to play the game if the PC controls were used for the mobile version
@@massimilianomarangon3336 I agree, but if more thought was put in the controls it could be more similar to the original game. And like he says in the video Flappy Fighter does it's controls pretty well.

*Shadow fighter was pretty good and no too much grinding. Plus the story and bosses were pretty cool.*
3 is garbage tho
@@rashidleroyang1147 still a good decision because it maked it a competitor of mkx mobile which was more like a clicking simulator
Flappy fighter is on Hiatus for 5 years because of the complaint situation. The devs are doing their best to get the game back and continue the fun. (They even made Santa fighter which is the same fighting style like flappy fighter to get the fun back)
(ahem) Vita Fighters would like to talk.
Shadow Fight 2 is amazing. I loved the snot out of that game. The lack of true multiplayer and item dependence was frustrating, but the moveset, music and weapon variety was a delight.
Shadow Fight 3 is garbage though. Better graphics but with a CCG lootbox monetization that just ruins it completely. Really sad you didn't even bother showing Shadow Fight 2 even for a second...
Yup sf2 was first of those fighting games which was not a clicker
Never came to android :(
It's been a few years, did Flappy Fighter ever go back online?
That "FLAPU'UKEN" really got me.
opinion on the shadow fight series? I personally think they're complex enough to act like an actual fighting game while not being too complex for mobile devices.
I got hyped to play this game and then found out I couldn’t download it in the apple store anymore
Skullgirls Mobile: "Am I a joke to you?"
Cerdo El Charizard yes.... yes you are a joke...
The thing is a joke actually
-power level progression bs
-P2W like features
-energy time bs
It carries mostly all the flaws of every mobile game ever while only managing to be only somewhat better than average mobile games
@@tadpoles4379 The energy doesn't even become a problem later when you play more and the story mode gives you loads of relics to get characters, for free. The power level grind is what makes the game fun, including different abilities per each unique character. P2W? hardly.
Complex Souljah the power level grinding isn’t fun to me bruh, I’d rather play a game where I block, punch and make the most combos and play precisely and then get bodied within essentially 4 seconds within 5 hits
Tadpoles437 that’s just you tho. Some people like the power grind. There’s a reason i’ll never like battle royales and game as such cuz they have no progression whatsoever
I miss flappy fighter
Man, these guys really nailed it. I had to go download right after watching this because it looks so slick
Fighting EX Layer on iPhone and some Android phones is free and has very simple but deceptively powerful swipe controls that allow you to do almost everything you can do in the PS4 version gameplay-wise and even 1 thing you can't (namely, walk into the foreground and background) the tutorial screen just shows 3 things you can do with the controls via swiping on the touchscreen but in truth you can do much more. finally, the graphics are full 3D and look almost as good as the PS4 version (unfortunately it uses the training stage; no other stages :/) you actually can't buy or pay for anything in the game yet which is kind of nice lol.
I downloaded that game and the swiping and virtual joystick are just awful to me. Hard skip.
Drodeka virtual joystick??? are you talking about this game: ruclips.net/video/VsYhggZc7pg/видео.html because it doesn’t have a virtual joystick
Honestly, it's very poor next to Flappy Fighter.
@@AuntBibby swiping to imitate the motions of a joystick is essentially a virtual joystick. It's still a port of existing control instead of unique or new control
Just spinnin the block to pay my respects to this goated game. Gone too soon. rip
Hey, this game looks really fun and stuff but pls play Tough Love Arena. On android, iphone, pc, toaster or whatever, pls.
real (the devs care about their game)
One of the best phone games has got to be shadow fight 2 hands down.
Main reason why I quit
For me skullgirls is satisfying enough, it's very difficult to bring this genre from the PC and console into the phones medium.
8 know skullgirls lacks in the fighting portion but I enjoy the game in general.
I think kof13 had good controls on mobile. Very simple and easy to understand. I dont know how deep the gameplay was though
Theres also for android and it called Vita Fighters which has smooth and easy combos, dash cancel and much more mechanics similar to MvC and the game combo are so very sick
2022 still no download option 💀💀
Vita Fighters is also great, the presentation its not the best but the game has great combat
So anyone have the “GaMe i S No T AvAliBLe oN YouR CouNtRy” problem

I think the Shadow Fight series did not 'fail' it's as awesome as any pc/play station fighting game series...

I've been hearing good things about that Hero Versus game on iOS. What do y'all think about it?
Shit's fire. But i'm on android, so I can't play online yet
I'd HIGHLY recommend checking out HeroVersus, I have so much fun learning characters and I find myself in the lab for hours at a time, the developers are also very involved and take feedback from the players. The moves are also easy to execute just simple swipes and button specials, but the combo system still manages to be fairly open-ended, however, the game is still in prerelease so you will have to go into their discord for the download link, for the Android version at least.
Could you give us an update when it drops for android ?

Seriously, where has this game been all my life, just gave it a try and it’s and the gameplay is as amazing as described. This game should be preserved as a key example on how to make a good fighting game on mobile platforms
Honestly,Power Rangers Legacy Wars and Shadow Fight are the best fighting games i found on my own

This is what all mobile fighting games should be
If it has an open-ended combo system that can make James Chen stay up past his bedtime, then you know it's good!
Bro it's not just fighting games it seems like the quality of alot of mobile games are junk for a lack of a better word especially in 2021 Zenonia is one of my favorite games on mobile and I haven't found alot of games regardless of genre that gave me that same enjoyment
Flappy Fighter is GREAT! Even the music and arcade scanlines are great :) thanks for making an awesome video about it.
Santa Fighter on iOS -
You’re welcome
If this game gets more characters then I’ll be all over it
As a high level free to play Skullgirls Mobile player, I would like to say some stuff about the endgame free to play experience. Getting new fighters, coins, moves, keys, and skill points is actually pretty reasonable (with the exception of getting diamond keys for any natural diamonds that you may pull) The main aspect of the game that is pay to win at in the endgame is the Rift Battles mode, specifically with the recent Catalyst addition. Out of the entire Catalyst pool there are a few catalysts that are super meta while the other catalysts see no usage at all. The only ways to get Catalysts are to either spend Rift Coins on them in the treasure tab of the Cabinet of Curiosities or to spend theonite on Catalyst relics. With the meta catalysts a whale can create a defense map where if you don’t have the specific counter to their map design, you will automatically lose.
Thanks for the info! I'm enjoying SG mobile. The combo system is a little deeper than most games of its type, so it's fun to practice with all of the moves that you can have at your disposal.

@@AjayKumar-ju5ls they get cool stuff before because there are only 5 6 iphones while there are tons of androids thus easier to put games in app store
@@RandomUploads1012 This more than anything. With iPhone, you're developing for 1 platform with a few iterations. Android by a VERY long shot has the most market share for smartphone OS' in the world, and moreover, in regions where people tend to spend a lot more on microtransactions (Asia). It's really no different than developing for console vs PC. If you release on PC, you are going to have far more issues with bugs and the game not working for people due to the vast amount of possible hardware configurations, compared to 1 set of universal hardware for a given console brand.

ShF2... Not 3 imo. The paid version without energy is cool too. But is lacking features.
Hope Flappy fighter will be back someday,

In my eyes, Shadow Fight 2 was one of the best mobile fighting games. It had a great narrative, the aesthetic was appealing and the music and stage backgrounds were God tier. I used to play this game a lot back in 2015 when I was in year 7 and havent played since. I completed the game several times and Act 4 Tournament was the reason I kept coming back. Whenever i think of the perfect place, to no surprise I always picture that stage. It's something about the sunshine, poppy field and music that really hit me hard. The whole feudal Japan setting always appealed to me and I possible will never hate it. That is why i was a bit disappointed in the Titan area of the game. Though it was good, I felt like it strayed too far from the feudal Japan setting I fell in love with. I'd give this game a solid 9- it captured my heart from the Hero Reborn to the Iron Reign but I felt like the future felt too... out of place. Nevertheless, the the music and backgrounds did heavy lifting to really immerse yourself in this wonderful game which I praise the devs for. I truly love this game and had some really special memories with this game and I highly recommend it to anyone.
Vita fighters intensifies
That "Welcome to the world of Flappy Fighters" really hit me hard, being a Third Strike fan
Come on, Skullgirls mobile is really good.
Flappy birds did a good fighting game, wtf.
Jokes aside, it does have some interesting stuff, and i'll have to wait, since i yse an android, but i would give it a shot.
@1:46 that game is called Shadow Fight 3. Shadow Fight 3 is a really shitty sequel to Shadow Fight 2. Shadow Fight 2 got actual ports to Xbox, PlayStation, and the Nintendo Switch. Shadow Fight 3 will never be ported because it is shitty.
Shadow Fight 2 has better Graphics, gameplay, music, and progression than Shadow Fight 3, PLUS beautiful cutscenes animated in 2d.
They both control the same way though; there is a kick and punch button. You automatically block. And you unlock ranged throwing weapons and ranged magic attacks later in the game. Although you can’t crouch. Only duck really fast and pop right back up.
The direction you hold the control stick dictates what kind of punch or kick move you’ll get. But there is also a punch and kick move for standing still. And since there are 8 directions on the control stick, that means you get 18 different moves right off the bat. You can also forward or back throw people if you stand close enough and press punch while holding left or right.
BUT there are also combos you can perform if you press the punch or kick buttons twice really fast while also holding a certain direction on the control pad. Most combos can only be obtained via unlock though.
BUT THERE’S MORE! There’s a huge variety of weapons that change all of your punch moves. Some weapons are better for range, others are better for close range, some weapons are straight up shit, and the sword is best for mid range. Ranged attacks are also unblockable
Now I can’t go into too much detail into Shadow Fight 2 and 3’s differences because this comment is already really long, but 3 feels a lot stiffer and jankier than 2. Plus 3 uses a lot more micro-transactions than 2.
But the biggest difference between both games is the art style. Shadow Fight 2 doesn’t actually show its characters. Every character is a silhouette contrasted against beautifully drawn backgrounds. And a seemingly Naruto inspired soundtrack plays in the background with a shit ton of REALLY good tracks mixing metal and ancient eastern instruments.
However Shadow Fight 3 is uninspired 3D models in 3D backgrounds. The only thing that improved in this game is the soundtrack, which remains kickass. Also Shadow Fight 3 includes online pvp, which Shadow Fight 2 specifically avoided due to how jank it would be. It’s VERY jank.
Shadow Fight 2 on mobile does not have any pvp, but does have local (no online) pvp in the console version of the game, where you can also play as boss characters with an extra magic ability. BUT Shadow Fight 2 on mobile DOES have a raid boss mode where you can team up with other players to fight increasingly hard bosses. And it ALSO has an extra set of super powered armor you can unlock through challenges.
SO YEAH. While most fighting games suck absolute ass on mobile, I’ve always had fun Playing Shadow Fight 2. ESPECIALLY when it got ported to console and I could play with my friends (locally)
The 2 mobile fighting games I played like crazy were Blazblue RR and Power Rangers Legacy Wars. They are super grindy to get new characters and upgrades, but at least equal matches rely on skill and not on stats.
But this. NO grind. I approve this!
Installed Flappy Fighter and I can say, without a doubt, this is definitely the best mobile fighting game. If the game gets multiplayer, new character maybe and other additions to the game, probably one of my favourite mobile games of all time
thanx dude ^__^ hopefully will be able to add all that in the future. stay tuned!
I wish I could play this
But Android owner so rip.
