@johnhansen4550 kind thoughts coming you way.. I lost mine over 30 years ago when I was 23. I try to remember a little of him goes with me in all I do.. Same with my mom (30+ years too)..
That was great to watch Myles and his dad working together. Enjoy it. I know he does. That Fury is looking really nice! The taillights are spot on. This is a handsome car!
Myles it’s nice you and your dad can spend some time together on this labor intensive part of the project I always liked those years of Fury’s great job
Seeing that Fury with all the trim brings me right back to my misspent youth in the 60s and seeing those cars tooling around town. That's a sweet ride.
In to his technical mastery, Myles is truly gifted in knowing what the many and complex next steps are toward completion. Can’t wait until hearing the throaty roar of the 383 illuminated by those gorgeous taillights while pulling out of the CWM driveway.
That's such a beauty! Neat to see his Dad coming over to help with the myles of trim :) It looks lower and sleeker with the skirts. Period style wheel / tire combinations are endless...
You are doing a great job on the Fury Miles. Won't be long and you will be digging out a replacement project to spend time with your dad. Thanks Scott for the new info on Mike's car.
Well Myles, your Dad is a Champion with all that hard work! Yes, your '66 is starting to complete its "MINTY" look! We all know how hard you have worked, how much you have learned from Scott and now you are ACES! Thanks for sharing Scott, Myles Done Good! Take care-look forward to Saturday! Cheers, Rich
All the hard work is really showing Myles, Thank You for taking the time to share it with us. Fender skirts have always been a favorite accessory. Hopefully You have a dual point four barrel 383. My Father had a "Golden Commando" in a '63 Belvedere. Good times. Best Wishes to everyone at Cold War Motors, their Families and Friends.
Excellent video Cold Water Motors Scott :) , Myles :) , Myles dad :) , Frankers The Dog 🐕,, also nice Myles 1966 Plymouth Fury car of so pretty and also trunk mat too so cool! Thank you for updated on your car Myles , Dad helped you too and like when my late Dad around me plus he and were teaching other in old ways on vechiles repairs and I did new ways! But when job say anything else needs done for round 2 or more in numbers Lol! Yes he had funny humor too and plus his older brother my uncle do same sayings!
Miles, good to see your keeping your dad "off the streets". Summer school at my all boys HS was a coed affair, so it was very popular. My buddy would pick me up in his dad's '65 Sport Fury and we'd pull of the hub caps, tape up the headlights and tape a number 7 on the doors and "impress "the girls, with our story that we had run it at the drags the night before. It was a simpler time in1966. Met my first girl friend at summer school that year in the back seat of that car. Beautiful job your doing. Stephen
Thanks so much for posting this. Out family had a 1966 Fury 3 when I was a kid. Whit car, red interior 2 door, factory A/C. Beautiful car, and seeing Myles car brings back happy memories. Cheers!
The exhaust note on Myles' winter-beater is one of my favorites sounds from Coldwaters! That gleaming new red paint against the chrome trim is just off-the-charts cool! Can't wait to see this one coming down Scott's driveway!
My dad had a 1966 Dodge Polara 500 Convertible with a 383 in it- and A/C. I have NEVER seen a duplicate on the road, only a few for sale on the internet. Makes me want to go and snatch up an old Dodge to tool around with.
Wow Myles👍 that is a beautiful looking 1966 sport Fury you and your dad did an awesome job on the chrome man thanks for sharing this with everyone and my thanks Scott for another great short video enjoyed it cheers till Saturday to everyone.✌❤🍺
I am OCD so the attention to deatil on everything is just so pleasing to see. Its the details that are making the finished look so impressive. Well done Myles ...
Hi Myles, greetings from Florida. I am sooooooo envious of your 66 Fury. It reminds me so much of my 65 Fury III from back in the day. That car is sweet and I'll bet you can't wait to hit the road in it. It won't be long now. Thanks for taking the time to give us an update. Can't wait for the next one. Cheers to you and all the CWM family.
Thank you for the update Myles. I love this Fury and very much enjoy watching your progress. I will watch anything that you wish to share as this beauty comes together. 👍💯
You should be proud of your channel as I recently found an automotive channel with 225,000 subs who doesn't get the views your channel does. Great job on the Sport Fury reassembly Myles!
So wonderful to see a long term project finally come to completion! You must be thrilled and so proud, Miles! Now, take a break and head on over to Scott's because Frankers misses you and needs some love and attention.
Loving the '66 Sport Fury update. Myles, thanks for summarizing many hours of work. Never owned a mid-sixties Plymouth. Had a '65 USAF blue station wagon in my duty section while stationed at a radar site on the Canadian Border in 1974.
Good morning and enjoy your Friday and enjoy your weekend! God bless you and your family as always and thank you for sharing this update with us. So happy for the progress to be made.
Wow Myles. I love how your Fury is turning out. Your attention to detail is what is making your Fury such a good restore. I really respect your talents. You think everything through before you do it. You are of huge part of Cold War Motors channel. You are always willing to go that extra mile (no pun intended) to do whatever job needs done. You're focus and serious approach to automobiles is commendable. As Scott always tells you when you leave "Thanks buddy".
Thank you lmoore! Kind of you to say. Dad taught me to focus at an early age, we were always workn on house restorations. Guess I've carried that skill into my rides
Well right off the bat ...this Sport Fury is Beautiful!......I remember my sisters first car it was a 1968 Sport Fury 383 and how I wished that was my first car....Miles sure has a gem here......
*Myles' Dad!* My own dad being gone for a good while now, all I could do was continuously grin the whole time watching this one. Fantastic seeing my Mopar bud Myles and his dad working together! Even better, there's no 22" donks, no slamming, none of that nonsense either. 🙂 - Ed on the Ridge
Holy smokes, it's looking really sharp. That's a lot of detail and hard job to get that bright work straight and shiny and mounted. That mat really ties the trunk together.
