You had no idea your hotel was on Bui Vien street? Lol...talk about a surprise !
Yeah, I was shocked. I just walked out of my hotel and there was music, crowds of people, smoke machines and lights everywhere haha
if you are still have pain please try "Cháo Lòng - pork congee Cháo Cá - fish congee "
Okay I will try it tomorrow 🙏🏻
kỷ niệm 30/4/1975, ngày thống nhất nước Việt Nam nên treo nhiều áp phích.
Looks like I’m right on time! 😁🙏🏻
Make sure to try Cơm tấm Nguyễn Văn Cừ. GO there early because they run out of pork chops early.
Is that in District 1?
Good picture but need to fix a sound
Thank you, I will try to get a better camera for vlogging a bit later 😂
"Cháo Lòng - congee" "Bún Bò what you had" "Bún Huế - spicy pork noodles"
I love Bun Bo already haha
👍💛
🤩🙏🏻
Like you said Thai and Vietnamese foods are very competitive . But Cambodian , Laotian and Burmese dishes are far behind the two first ones .
Unlike in Thailand there is no "happy ending " in Vietnam massage parlors because the police here is very strict . However in certain districts of Saigon , you could sometimes ask for special full body massages ( from A to Z ) . But it's very risky . Thailand is actually considered as the biggest brothel in SEA (even in the world) . Sex tours are part of the national tourism industry there . That's why foreign tourists prefer Thailand over Vietnam . Every year they bring billion of $ to the economy of this country . Lately VN starts to ease its legislation to compete with TH . But I don't think VN can beat TH on that field .
Thailand is a crazy and wonderful place haha. I thought it might be the same here because there is a massage shop on every corner in the area I am staying in. Either way I tend not to go to them even in Thailand where it’s a bit more acceptable. I don’t like Laotin food that much, Thai is way better. Vietnam is also quite good though 😁👌🏻
a few Vietnamese dishes you must try "phở - beef rice noodle soup" "bán canh - pork noodle soup" "bán xèo - vietnamese combo crepe", "bán ướt - rice flour steamed crepe" Place to visit outskirts of HCM city "Đại Nam Tourist Park"
Are there any nature places not too far from here? (Or beaches worth going to?)
@@Jarod_Abroad there is no beach within walking distance but must travel, nearest one is Vủng Tàu it's 2 and half hours by car 96 km, but when you are in middle of vietnam like Nha trang, Da nang, Qui nhon etc... they are all within walking distance if you like to go to beaches then please visit middle Vietnam
3:36 what are you talking about man we clearly see trash in Major Us cities daily im in Canada and homeless making camp everywhere in downtown and trash many part of downtown bro 😂 you dont find homeless camp in Vietnam's street do ya 😂? That's up to the culture in each country not if they're wealthy or not
Yes, I think Asian countries have quite good hygiene overall. I haven’t been to the states yet so I can’t really wage my opinion, but from what I have seen allot of places look quite rough compared to what they used to be, I haven’t seen it for myself yet so I can’t really say 😅
@@Jarod_Abroad its every where on youtube , just search homeless drive through videos and you'll see many video coming from the state, or if u wanna look at where im at then homeless in vancouver and most drive are in downtown area which is major homeless HUB they are everywhere bro.
150k is so expensive. It's cost 15k for sure
Yeah, I actually ended up giving him like 250k Though haha (He wanted 850k)
@@Jarod_Abroad that things r sold everywhere for teen playing in school. U can buy it 15k VND in grocery by the street. Lesson for u is never buy anything from the one who sales things on street, buying thing with price on the menu
when you are filming be sure to hold your phone well (tight); if you are sitting at the table near the roadside while eating and leave your phone on the stand/tripod watch out for thieves riding motorbikes may snatch your phone from your hand or from your table
Is the crime bad here?
@@Jarod_Abroad Not very . But don't tempt the devil . It's better be safe than sorry .
"Ni Hao (Chinese) khỏe không - you well! chào anh (male) chào chị (female) general greeting
What do local people normally say to greet each other? But not slang, like a polite way to greet someone?
@@Jarod_Abroad Chào Cả Nhà - Hello everyone - Chào bạn hello friend - Chào Cô (older female) Chào Chú (older male) - Chào Anh (to a male person) similar age - Chào Chị (to a female) similar age - Cám Ơn thank you
@@Jarod_Abroad Local people use specific pronouns to speak to each other, but a simple "Xin chào" is a sufficient hello to anyone. :)
"Ngon (Viietnamese) = Aloi (Thai)
Num ngon?
@@Jarod_Abroad just Ngon
