    I used to have one of those! Sounds like the Spin bearings are shot on it though! Still good to see it running!!

    it's a shame the timer on the washer was dead in this video; the rapid advance functionality is really cool

    How did you get the lid switch bypassed for it to spin with the lid open?

    what the knockin sound it makin..bad belts are pulleys

      center post bearings gone.... seemed most every Kenmore/whirlpool machine before the early 70s had that problem... then they shrunk the length of the center post sometime in the early-mid 70's and that seemed to fix the flaw.
