Just watched this video, my aunt had this washer she left it to us when she moved into her house that had a Westinghouse front loader, when it broke she took this back. I did many a wash in this machine. It worked great and could take a large load. I would hold the water reset button to make it fill up even higher. Looks great. 👍🏼
Lady Kenmore washing machines from the late '50's are my favorite. They have got the strength and beauty of Catherine de' Medici, Jeanne d'Arc and Guienevre combined into one.
kelly savage most Kenmore washers don't spin that fast, like the one my parents used to have don't spin fast; it's a 1982 Kenmore 60 series with a Penta Vane agitator.
@@baxterjones2021 This agitator is just a roto swirl. The Super roto swirl was slimmer and had ribs on the post and vanes. It came out 4 years after this was made. I believe they first showed up on the 1963 models. Someone knows for sure.

Wow that music was great
And, so is the washer, we need
Both back again, !!!
Awesome washer and video, Whirlpool sure knew how to build these long lasting washers.
Congrats on a super nice restoration - I admire your skills and like the video intro, even though it's a 1951 song..great lead-in.
What song is it?
It's like a magical oasis for your laundry!!!

Thats a nice washer!! Didn't GE us that same style of agitator in their washers back in the day???
Wasn't GE, it was Whirlpool.
Thanks for the information.
@@02chevyguy Whirlpool made the Kenmore washer I think.
@@anthonyboarman3833 Yes Whirlpool built this as they did ALL Kenmore washers and dryers up until recently.
@@02chevyguy GE's ramped "helix"agitator came out in 1961 or 62.
does this washer have the "pregnant" roto swirl? I got a lady Kenmore visimatic with that agitator and it works pretty well
Mark Ague I call her big mama

This was made before they added load size options/auto sensing.
This has a water level slide switch on it.
