- After a sheltered alligator named Chris slowly starts to break out of his comfort zone, he's challenged by his barista companion, Andy, to take his first ever taste of danger, adventure, and freedom on a breathtaking train ride through the wilderness.
I'm still incredibly grateful at how many people loved Vending Machine, it was a passion project that I thought wouldn't get much recognition, never thought I'd end up making a sequel either!
But here we are, I had a lot of fun making it and I really hope you enjoy

Fucking yeah i did too!
Judging by Chris' words, strong reactions, and actions, it sounds like he could've been a mormon in the past. They aren't allowed to drink caffeine and are indoctrinated to strictly follow their rules and teachings. His strong reaction to Andy breaking a rule and wanting to follow suit but struggling and almost breaking down to tears may very well be a display of the guilt and shame he was raised in.

Oh yeah, I live in Utah and there are so many enforced rules my friends had to follow growing up. It honestly made me so sad, cause they felt like they weren't allowed to live.
I love how Chris is such a worrywart about the rules and then eventually follows Andy's example that breaking the rules can sometimes lead to good things instead of always bad things. It's so cute and wholesome ♥
Not going lie though when RUclips randomly recommended me vending machine I litteraly became hooked to the short film and comparing it to the short from last year the quality of the animation just skyrocketed especially the backgrounds. They look almost like there actual photos and almost beautiful just to look and everything else works together in harmony and the only way I saw this was when I went back to see vending machine again and saw this sequal to vending machine, and thanks to you (and maybe 2001: a space Odyssey) I kinda wan to go to film school because everything looks incredible, if you happen to see this comment I want to say thank you for making this wonderful series ❤️

Duuuude that was great, you really know how to nail atmosphere. Though this was just 3 minutes it really conveyed a cinematic feeling. Probably due to the complex lighting and 2.5D effects, which are very impressive .
Even subtle things like voice acting and cinematography is great too. Fantastic work mate!

as a rather chubby guy irl with a crocodile sonna seeing chris and how adorable he is always seems to put me in a better mood about myself . i hope you keep up these animations as they always strike a cord with in me .
Just know there are folks who 100x over prefer chubby dudes than the normal bod, most importantly loving yourself is a must no matter your flaws.
It's simple just know that there are dude ways fatter than you, and they are pretty happy so being inspired

I had an instant cold sweat when my notifications showed this film was uploaded.
I had a feeling this would be special, so I waited 'till I got off work to watch it on my TV in my bedroom... No distractions.
After watching it, I knew I had to write my thoughts.
First off, I love how episodic it feels. Even if this were the first film I saw without ever seeing Vending Machine before, I would still understand the main characters relationships and personalities.
Your art style has definitely changed beautifully since your previous videos and it's heighten the emotion a lot more. The energy in the animation toke my breath away a few times.
I could also feel Chris's anxiety and smallness in this one more, where as in Vending Machine, I didn't know he was even going though anxiety. That was probably my only issue with that film.
I'm no professional filmmaker or critic, however I don't think I have to be one to say that your work is shaping out wonderfully. You deserve ever welcoming comment on this video and Vending Machine, and you will. Not only that, you made somebody's day today and inspired someone to get creative. Thank you!

I love Vending Machine, because unless you’re also anxious you don’t necessarily recognize right away that he’s suffering with anxiety. For me, it’s a great display of what the average person sees these moments as when not experiencing it themselves. The moment it really hit me that he was anxious was when the guy said he didn’t want a coffee, because in his own mind everyone would judge him for coming into a coffee shop just to order a hot chocolate. It’s those subtle moments that really portray how irrational these anxieties are, because besides the initial recognition that he wasn’t ordering a coffee no one really blinked an eye. I thought it was a nice touch to put an “outside” view on something so internal.

I remember reading a news paper of a man on a train who Leaned his head out of a train windows, couple of minuets later a another train came and Decapitated his head from his body.

Your characters are so expressive, and you paired the emotion of the action so well with the music that for a moment Chris' joy was my own. You moved a sentimental marshmallow to brief tears of joy.

Omg! This is epic, being a sequel to the Vending Machine, and I love it!! Them two getting closer together inch by inch makes me happy, seeing this as it happened to me before as well. And OMG I knew Alfie was going to be in it as well, seeing that Andy was in it!! I'm glad you made a sequel, seeing that we loved the Vending Machine, and I hope there will be another sequel!
Just a not for anyone: no matter how harsh or how bad the world is or a situation may be, there's always a way to solve it. Just take your time, and it'll happen.
I love this. When I stumbled across Vending Machine, I loved it and had wanted to see a sequel to it and I'm happy to see this. Can't wait to see more of Chris and Andy. These two are real cute together and can't wait to see what's in store in the future, keep up the good work!

Omg! I was really hoping it would happen, usually I don’t like romance but this video is a extremely rare exception for me, plus same-sex relationship has its own sorts of beauty.
I gasped out loud from the shot at 0:50! Lovely art direction on this piece, especially those bits of flickering light.

I got recommend this and I didn’t even notice what the video was about until later. Right when I realized it was an animation with the characters from vending machine I instantly clicked! I like watching animations! This was so beautiful and I love their story so much! You have totally improved too I can tell. The background is insanely good! The lighting is really nice too!
I went into this with high expectations from you and you still blew me away! The perspectives were flawless, they flowed naturally, the movement was fluid, and even the use of color to emphasize the stressed vs relaxed tone was impeccable!!! I will be eagerly awaiting the follow-up if there is one.

An animation that actually put a truthful smile on my face! Finally ffs finally some good stuff, the details are amazing and the choose of music over behaviour of the characters are all spot on!

You can see that in Andy's perspective the window is open, leading to his open and careless personality.
And on Chris's perspective the window is closed, representing his then closed and shy personality.

I love short stores here. Most of the modern animation is just what sells...but here....passion can take flight, creativity can be explored. And ENJOYed. This was well done.
The animation is amazing, but I can help but notice the frickin SOUND DESIGN because oh my lord it's amazing. Not only one does it just sound really good, but the PIANO CUES ARE JUST- OH MY GOD THEY'RE SO GOOD. And the ending, where the train track sounds fade into the heartbeat IT'S JUST- AAAAAAAA

Gotta say, RUclips recommendations didnt let me down with this one. and I decided to go watch Vending Machine too, both just giving off chill vibes. I find it rare to fin things like this anymore, cute animations that are packed to the brim with emotion, and having it be paired with a calm soundtrack. Saved this video for later, and whoops, an entire year passed and more since I did. I can't really say more than all the other comments said, so I'll just add what I didn't see many people say, the train rails transitioning into a heartbeat in the end I anticipated and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful work!

Woah, this is so beautiful and powerful ❤️ I think many of us have felt before like we were stuck inside the rigorous rules we've been taught and have been prevented from experiencing life and doing the things we've wanted to do. If we just let ourselves feel and live life without worry of what we've been taught from society and without fear of judgement, there is so much more beauty to be experienced.

This animation absorbed me from start to finish and made me feel like I was inside, the moment he decided to put his head out the window was very beautiful and made me think about what kind of things I could have missed by avoiding doing things I would not do. out of fear, not being used to it or something ...

That animation, the color, the artstyle, it could use some cleaning up but man, it's amazing, some scenes were absolutely beyond goregous.
I really don't know how I allowed myself to be three weeks late to this. Gorgeous as always! The music and art complement themselves too - it's just the best.
Man, this is absolutely stunning! Ironically (and Unironically if ya know me) I'm more impressed with the animation of the train itself. Most films just botch (mess up) most of the thing, but here there was a clear effort to actually make it look like a real rail vehicle. The animation of the characters are superb, certainly cleaner but still has a sketch vibe that compliments the situation. Although one nitpick, I find the body expressions to be a tad exaggerated, as if they were in a silent film. although it's not a bad thing.
THE MUSIC. THE SOUND. THE ANIMATION. IT'S PERFECT.
3d backgrounds at one of the hardest things to do and you pull it of with such ease and I also love how expressive the characters are and how they use body language to communicate how they are feeling, you are amazing bro keep it up
Definitely related to Chris here.. I just started a relationship for the first time, I finally took the leap and felt brave enough to publicly be out with another guy. I'm full of love in a way I've never been before.. It's amazing, but god I'm so terrified.
I was raised in a strict, religious home, I've always been good, and stayed in line.. I hate the thought of upsetting my family, but I want so badly to be free and to able to "break rules" with my boyfriend. My head's in one place, my heart's in another entirely.
I forgot about Andy Chris and Alfie. Seeing this made me come the channel and find the first episode with them, and I remember how much I loved the animation. I love little subtle gay stuff in animation, or full gay. It makes me happy every time I see it. I hope you all are staying safe there, and keep on the amazing work

And this... the little details. The cramped scenes of emotion in such little time yet fit in to such a perfect way. None of it felt too fast or pushed forward. And that’s remarkable to see so many different emotions spread through the characters so fluidly in such a short amount of time. And the title placed with the moral of the story? It feels like you gave it an unfinished title only for the animation itself to complete it! I am so amazed at your talent! Please don’t ever stop this beautiful array of talent! All of this is the reason why I’m subscribed to you. And maybe to finish off the title with a few words.
