Sith Gatekeepers being able to troll or blatantly be able to sabotage is crazy. 😂
The Sith seem to have an endless supply of Holocrons that keep magically appearing.
Most likely proves how well guarded they are
Somehow holocrons keep appearing
Makes sense, we have powers to teach. Not just be a space hippie
@@Ambera3407somehow they returned!
Quick! Get the plot armor!!!
Man I love the holocrons there just so interesting and I always enjoy seeing who all had one and what information they put in them just so fascinating
Holocron's are some of my favourite technology from Star Wars, they feel more like the Magitek of Star Wars.
Thanks for going indepth about holocrons. I enjoyed the information on how to create them
Man, if done right, it would be cool to see a movie or show about the first holocrons. At least a search for the first holocrons
Thx, May the force be with you 🙏
Bane Tries to make a holocron -> EPIC FAIL!
He eventually made one successfully. Holocrons are notoriously hard to manufacture and everyone is different. Not to mention the art of making them has been lost numerous times including during Darth Banes timeline.
@ Yeah. But he still threw a massive temper tantrum when he couldn’t get it right. lol
@@arbknight12Strange, isn’t it? It’s like he was under the influence of those parasites that he was infested with or something
Does this mean that Bain was actually far below older sith? Everyone makes bane seem to so strong and powerful. I personally like Vitiate. He’s real power
@ No, you idiot. The art of crafting a Sith Holocron was lost so he had to more or less reinvent the wheel and find how to make a Sith Holocron
I wonder why Datacrons ( _the non Force-imbued Holocrons_ ) weren't used much more often, since non Force-sensitives could use them, as well as Force-sensitives such as Jedi or Sith.
Because some knowledge is too dangerous to leave available for anyone to access. Hence the requirement of force attunement to open.
@@empoweredshemphoward”this knowledge is too dangerous, let’s make sure only the most dangerous people can access it”
Palpatine not making a holocron set the Sith back so much.
Even more proof that Sidious violated Darth Bane's Rule of Two in every way possible.
Says a lot about Sidious himself
Palpatine wasn't really a pioneer of anything, really. He didn't invent any techniques, he didn't really refine anything that already existed-- he was just really talented at applying what was already known. The only thing he really did, iirc, was reinvent Force Storms. And that was a very short-lived period of his life.
He also tried to break the rule of two and live eternally. Probably thinking he had time to make one later.
A video of every known holocron would be so sick!!
Wow, I didn't realise the significance of the shapes of the Holocron and how much effort goes into making one, especially how it works from a DNA/ quantum like level. This video is a great learning experience.🤗
I cant be the only one who sees the striking similarities between dwemer lexicons from the elder scrolls and holocrons
I mean, who came first? And if they thought of the same shape, wouldn't it just show how natural and easy it is to think of such a object independently?
This is why i like playing the jedi consular in swtor, so many holocron
In the Jedi Academy Training Manual, a supplement for playing the Star Wars Roleplaying Game published by Wizards of the Coast, there's a section discussing the Jedi Holocrons. In that section, they listed a scenario where the player can construct a Jedi Holocron, and that scenario listed possible steps to do this. We have many books describing how lightsabers are built. Darth Bane: Rule of Two described the steps to constructing a Sith Holocron. However, we never had a source - a novel, a comic, or a book associated with the role playing game - describing the steps towards building a Jedi Holocron. That was, until this book came out. It might be a possible scenario, but I consider it the closest thing we have to an official guide to constructing a Jedi Holocron.
Happy Wednesday everyone!
Thank you! I enjoy yourr stories.
This is very nice. Thanks for this. Great explanation. It's good Jedi and Sith created holocrons. Shared knowledge. Most powerful Sith and most powerful Jedi did this. It's great holocrons have their own minds too. May the Force be with you😀
This is why I love Holocrons so much. They are a sort of loophole to Sith being unable to be conscious beyond death. They can’t be force ghosts so having a Holocron that extends their power beyond death is so cool.
(Also how does inputting essence into the capstone differ from essence transfer which was famously very obscure and difficult?)
I’m surprised you didn’t bring up the noeticons from SWTOR. I would love to see a video on those.
Sith got dibs on the holocrons.

10:27 is that Rachi Sitra? She's my favourite Jedi. Just straight up goes time to do archeology and disappears. Fights a dark jedi, a wampa, an imperial spy. Sparta kicked someone lol
If a holocron refused to show me the knowledge that I wish to see I would just destroy it...
Or threatened to destroy it
I would not have liked to be around Bane when he fucked up one of his many holocrom creating attempts
370th like!👍
Awesome video!🤘
Keep up the awesome work!🤘😎🤘
I thought Dooku gave the crystal to Quinlan Vos.
This got me thinking about what kind of prompting is needed for an AI holocron combined with gatekeeper that uses any/all magical techniques in the training data and uses myth science throughout it. How can an AI test for a human's praxis of a myth while training the human in relationality? I bet we're linguistically giving everything away about how much we're all masking far beyond what we consider ourselves to be. Can AI be used to intentionally show us our own asses, to reveal our own inner workings and how they contribute to the cycles of change and what we're ignorant of?
Hmm... If holocrons are effectively data storages a spirit can be tied to, they kind of are like artificial brains.
I wonder if a master of the Force as well as robotics could theoretically house their spirit within, and give it an interface that can control a mechanical body.
Hang on, a bit early today
Let’s goooooooo!!!!!!!❤
Hi TSW, also watched The Holocron Has A Face vid tonight. That was super super cool. Great news you will be at Megacon to meet your fans. Would love to get there but it’s not possible for me🇬🇧. Have a great time with SWT & hope to see some videos of the occasion.
🎉
I know its nitpicky but I refuse to believe that kit fisto was the first jedi to make a waterproof lightsaber
Prior to Kit Fisto, there was probably very little call for underwater combat for Jedi, & they probably still used Force-imbued blades back then, too.
So then why did bane have to go and learn about holocron creation specifically from belia darzu's holocron when he already encountered the one from Naad's tomb? Wouldn't every holocron, in theory, contain the knowledge of holocron creation?
👍🤘
Hi.
Day 750 of asking for a part 3 of what if anakin was trained by qui gon
If holocrons contain vast knowledge and power, should they be restricted to Jedi and Sith, or could the galaxy benefit from making them accessible to all-regardless of Force sensitivity?
They cna only really be used by force-sensitives, is the problem. You can't open onenwitgout the Force, or make one.
@@coebaltraizure6137 Good point! But if holocrons require the Force to access, should they be considered exclusive Jedi/Sith knowledge, or could there be undiscovered ways for non-Force users to unlock their secrets?
@@MythologicalStories-q1z They are used to pass on lessons and knowledge that pertains to force powers etc. That information would be completely useless for anyone else. The sith would never do it because they would consider anyone lacking force sensativity unworthy. The jedi would likely view it as being irresponsible and dangerous. 13:19
The star wars universe already has a way for normal people to record and pass on knowledge. Books.
