Seems like a smart, honest, hardworking dude...nice setup, I love stuff like this and I curse myself every time I'm on my knees on the snow in the woods, bare handed trying to repair equipment.
Thank you, it showed what I need, or have to get even for a older male (72) here in Australia just keeping the wood up for our combustion heater in the winter. I like how you are organized for what you do and even for my small-time firewood cutting, it saves time and makes the work so much easier. Take care mate.
@travisgilbert8416 I do, but I can’t honestly think of a way to put it that is appropriate for the masses. I know that a 395 or 592 doesn’t have any competition for what I do. If anything worked better I would own it. I’ve tried stihl saws in the past and they just weren’t going to work in my program. I know this is a vague answer but if I were to speak openly about how I feel about the subject I think I would come off not as intended. I dig the 200t for a climbing saw.
@@Good.Fellers I appreciate the answer! I understand the Stihl business model but it bothers me that you really have to have a local dealer in order to get parts and I don't like paying extra for name recognition!
Nice set up. It pays to keep the extras you need in the timber with you. Never know when you might need or when. I stay out of the heavy equipment too. Hand me a saw and point me to the marked trees is what i like. Love the video. Keep em coming.👍
I believe that for a young man you have a good deal of savvy. I like your upfront approach. I find your continued effort at anonymity entertaining. By the way, anyone that accuses you of being a greenhorn isn’t paying attention. I’ve been running saws since the old direct drive days and I never thought once that you were a newbie to the business - it didn’t even enter my mind. You’ve got good content and are patient to explain your cuts. Oh, don’t feel bad about being somewhat antisocial - I’ve been that way 60s lol
Nice set up. I agree with you on multiple saws. My 462 is my back up to my 500i. I have 1000s of hour and trees on it and it's been 100% reliable. It works great on the steep Missouri Ozarks. I see your point about chaps being a liability if you are running for your life. I've had to mean close call to not wear them. I'd have one leg if I hadn't been wearing my phanners.
Hey thank you! As far as the chaps it’s a each is own situation. I do dangerous things and assume I’m going to get injured sometimes….part of the deal. I always do what makes me feel safe and think you should as well.
Safety Gear is cheaper than a hospital bill, you cut yourself with a chainsaw, you can bleed out quick!!! I heard someone say, the average chainsaw incident in the USA is 110 stitches - THE AVERAGE - out in the woods, forest, far from help not good. As one gets older not as limber, quick, agility - Ext - or younger inexperienced ones - THIS IS RUclips broad audience please encourage safety. Good.Fellers I'm confident you wouldn't show a video felling a tree that was not correct technique because that would be dangerous or unsafe. However I know using chainsaws and cutting down trees is a dangerous profession, it's a good idea to exercise caution and implement safety were we can. @@Good.Fellers

One of the tough parts of business is building and maintaining quality customer relationships. It’s not a easy task and most don’t succeed at it. The one thing I can say is good logs sell themselves. Good luck on your journey. I can’t talk about my private business practices on the internet, but I will say I don’t deliver logs without selling and being payed first.
To the haters - first, everyone starts somewhere - so let’s say it is your first day, week month or year? Who cares?!? Second, the ones commenting are usually the ones who don’t leave their moms basement and have not touched grass in over two decades 😂

Like the "Proud to be an American " comment. I never thought I would see the day that that comment wasn't standard. Great video

Hey thanks for the comment!!!!
@@Good.FellersI run a 395 for tree work and firewood. Do you prefer Husqvarna over Stihl for a reason?

@travisgilbert8416 I don’t know that huskies are cheaper, they just are better at doing what I need my saws to do.

Nice clean setup.
Hey thank you Kevin!

@@CatsRcool-b5o I think you should use safety gear as I stated in the video…helmet, gloves, face mask, and hearing protection.

Nice video. Ever run a 390?
Thank you! No I have never been around one honesty.
What made you choose Husqvarna as your main saw source? Great video too 👏🏻
Hey thanks
Husqvarnas has always felt better for what do. High rpm power!
Wanna sell me that 372 ? I cut firewood for myself. A good used 372 is just what I need.
No, I’m sorry I’m not selling any saws.

O Machado e a Motosserra
Entraram junto no mato pra mostrar a serventia
A motosserra roncava machado velho tinia
E naquele matagal foi só cavaco de pau pó de serra que subia
E esse grande duelo deste jeito é que termina
Na briga das ferramentas o machado é que domina
Motosserra parou cedo ali no tronco da quina
Machado seguiu cortando mata grossa e mata fina
Motosserra impotente rebentou sua corrente acabou a gasolina
Good story!
Tidy little operation there for a novice.
Thank you!
That toolbox is bare.. not good.
Lol
