@@Drag0n092x Yeah, it just plays "New Battle!!!" while fighting this one and only superboss in Future Redeemed, the same theme that's played while fighting ordinary enemies, unlike other unique monsters that play "You Will Know Our Names ~Finale" theme.
@@swagmaster699 You don't even need to topple lock him to beat him, though. Plus it's a really short fight where nothing can go wrong. The annoying thing with Fogdweller is that he'll always wipe you eventually after becoming enraged (unless you're super lucky), so your only shot is to build a super launch setup and do a metric ton of damage to him in chain attacks.
I wonder if it's possible to max it to all 9s or something Highest I got was over 380 million on abaasy It basically one shot him after he activates his heat mode Just have to also make sure to hit him from behind which is his weak point Rex is the chain attack like people say 😂😂😂
Thanks so much for this video! On top of showing how to hit hard with Rex during chain attack, you more importantly showed how to survive the bosses constant 125 hp damage spam.
How do you break, topple and launch this thing? Do you need a certain accessory or is it complete luck? And is there any way to mitigate the auto-damage gimmick?
YEAAAAAH I thought they would go all the way on that and expected the unique monster music as well, but nope lol. XC2 kinda got shafted on music representation too, but oh well guess they made up for it by making Rex completely busted rofl.
Looks like he did. I farmed gold off of the Bioluminescent Bob superboss in Yesterdale. If you eat gold boosting food, you get around 20k gold per kill on him, and it only takes around 2:30 per kill (you can probably do it faster with an optimal setup).
As long as you’ve seen an enemy at least once you can check what they drop in the enemyopedia, but yeah from around upgrade 4 it’s all from super bosses.
Unfortunately not. The devs should have made it so your allies keep attacking when you call them to you, but they just sit there like idiots then run away again once you turn it off. That's a big problem with XC3 that I have in general.
Saddly not, the follow the leader option is nice for certain AoE attacks (like the hazard pools from this guy and the lv90 boss), but unfortunately it stops everyone from attacking and the moment you switch off they go about their same positions again lol
Level down to level 55-58 (whichever level you can handle it at), turn it to easy, and eat chain EXP boosting food. Then kill the level 60 Darbus UM with an overkill chain attack, and also make sure to kill the enemies he spawns to (since that's the point of the chain EXP food). You'll get a metric ton of EXP per fight.
Rex IS the chain attack. Legends says every time he spins, so to does the chain gauge.
Xenoblade 1 fans:How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old dragon?
I like the snow people
I love that it plays the original You Will Know Our Names, instead of the Definitive Edition version.
That's a really nice touch for long-time fans.
As much as I love the DE version better than the original (just my take), hearing it here made me pop off.
That was just edited in by the uploader, it actually just plays the default fight theme.
@@Drag0n092x Aww, okay.
I think it was an audio bug with hero characters actually. Since I got the standard fight theme when I was fighting the thunder dragon.

Rex being honorary tank on the fact that he does so much damage will never not be funny.
As soon as I saw the area when I reached it in game, I knew this would be the final superboss

What auto damage gimmick? The "if it's blocked it's 1 damage"? If so then no. It's just how the boss is designed
