Thanks for the great clear tutorial, just want to ask couple things. How did you record your bass guitar? is it just through the mic from the phone? or you have a mic hooked through the mixer? , same case with the drums. Thanks again..
Hi Andrew, do you know how to fix latency issue? I'm getting some miliseconds delays on layering records. I'm using a iRig + interface connect with my DA.
Excellent video, thank you for posting. I've been slumming it up with my ear buds for my subsequent track recordings and I'm ready to take it to the next level with a USB mic. Do you happen to know which ones would be compatible? I've scoured the entire internet and have yet to find anything about this. Thanks again!
Great stuff Andrew! Fyi this app is really inconsistent at best on android. The sync can fail depending on the model of the phone, apparently. I've never gotten it to work properly on my LG phones.
Thanks! And yes, I'm aware of the issues with Android :( I've actually chatted with the developers, apparently it's extremely difficult to code something stable that can be used on so many different types of devices as opposed to iOS
@@AndrewKesler oh cool! Yeah thats the explanation I've read too. It is legitimately the main reason that I have considered switching to an iPhone. Well, that and the green text bubble stigma ;)
@@alexd9341 honestly those new iPhone SE 2''s are pretty big bang for the buck. Or just a refurbished iPhone could be a good investment. Altho if you have no other issues with your phone perhaps an iPad might be a more suitable investment. Otherwise to produce multitrack videos I'd the more old-fashioned way with DAW recording software and a video editing program like Final Cut or Premiere
I am using my audio interface (Moto M2) to record on my iPhone (12 mini) in Acapella. I have my XLR mic plugged into input 1. There's audio in both ears when I record in Acapella, but when I playback (including Acapella playback on other devices), there's only audio output in the left channel. Same goes for when I'm plugged into input 2, there's only audio output in the right channel. The Acapella input settings only say "Motu M2" as opposed to "Motu M2 Input 1" or "Moto M2 Input 2". I also can't find any input-specific settings in my iPhone's general settings. Any ideas? tl;dr what settings do I use Acapella to create a mono signal for my external audio interface? Thanks!
Hi Andrew, I'm recording solo viola on an ipad with no external mic and the sound quality is great except that it craps out a bit when I play particular double stops. Is there a way to adjust the recording levels?
It looks like you are recording the drums over the air through your iPhone. But they are electronic drums, not acoustic. How are you playing electronic drums without the natural sound of the sticks hitting the pads coming through the recording? Is there a way of connecting the electronic drums directly to the Acapella app?
Why isnt my backing track playing?
Andrew the first video of yours i saw was "I´m singing in the rain" and others singing a capella. Thanks for sharing your work, you are very talented
Hey I appreciate your video tutorial.gonna give it a shot
Damn man I just gotta say you’re amazing! Great collab! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 and thanks for this tutorial. 🙏🏻☺️

İm waiting the answer
Would you kindly explain if just audio is allowed or if I can upload some other images to play on the video if it is necessary only?

Andrew, can you explain your process for post-production on the audio? Thanks!

Help! I’m so frustrated. I am using my iPhone mic to record vocals and they are so quiet!! I don’t know why it is making them so quiet?!?!!??!
Acapella is really really an anti stress. Haha

Jason, I ordered a i riq interface ( for guitar) and waiting for it to come home. I think it works for an el drum kit as well.. 👍
