As they say, power is nothing without control. Some sensible mods there. Bet you could have done without having to replace a tyre though. 😔 Good start to 2024 with the M4 getting some love. 😁👍🏼👏🏼

Very true! I love it! Was so gutted to get to alignment and see the tyre though 😄

Nice one! I love my B16 setup on my M2. Still haven’t played with the settings as it feels so good (6F,5R). Interesting about the control arm bushes. Something to do in the future I think. Regards!

Yes I’m running the same, feels bang on! Will crank up to 9/7 for track

Loving this Journey as I have a 2015 F80 Any chance of seeing how Tim’s EDC setup sits within the parameters to make it work? Mine is a daily so really need to keep the EDC functionality.

Happy New Year Tim. M4 looking striking. Perfect upgrade. So pleased you’re happy with it and saving your spoiler to! So what’s next in store for your M4? There’s a vast variety of M4 mods. Lucky you.

    Happy New Year Tim👊🏼
Looking forward to the follow-up video.
Interested to hear your unbiased review on the coilovers, as I was originally going for these for my M2, but someone threw the KW V3 into the mix so am debating between the two.
What drop did you end up with over the original suspension, and did you go to the lowest the kit would allow?
Those solid control arm bushes are a game changer, they tighten up the front massively. You may not be able to appreciate them as much as me as I’m on stock suspension and I’ve had them done, whereas you’ve got the added bonus of the Bilsteins too, so you may or may not feel what the bushes are doing in isolation. But they are definitely working and doing an amazing job of letting you know what that front end is doing.
I had the rear toe arms done replaced with solid adjustable ones as well as adding camber plates on my M2, all on stock suspension. Just these mods alone dialed in with a good alignment have transformed the car.
Next mods are rear solid control arm bushes, rear adjustable thrust arms and the rear differential bush kit.
Coilovers will probably be the last thing I do…money and all that 😅
I want to get the car handling like a go kart…not too bothered about power, I want to keep the reliability as I’m keeping the car for good.
I’ve had it from new, bought it 5 years ago. Oil changed every 5k. Gearbox and diff oil changed at 20k, they’re due again now it’s on 49K.
Anyway I digress, all the best for the New Year bro, looking forward to the “proper” review on the coilovers. 👊🏼

Happy new year bro! Sounds like you’ve done everything I’ve done on my cars also! I’ve known the b16s well as I’ve had them on my m2 also! In terms on height I’d never run at highest or lowest settings as those are classed as limits and you wouldn’t get the best out of the dampers I’d say..mine is set to the middle…can’t remember specs you’ll have to get swift to dial that in properly!

Does swift think the PSS10 is up for track work? I figured they’d spec the clubsports. Considering PSS10s for my f80. No daily duty but still drive here and there and go to and from the track (sometimes 7 hour trips). So thought the B16s might be a sweet spot. Better than stock and capable on track but reasonable for time on the road.

It definitely is! I’ve used mine twice now and it works great as I can soften them up after for road! If it’s more track than road then clubsports or nitrons for sure! But at the price point you can’t beat them..

Hey Tim, not sure if you’ll see this but hope you’re well mate!
With these shocks do the front and rears have the adjusters on the bottom? Have you tried them on track yet??
    Cheers 🍻

They’re epic, no NVH but much better steering feel…have a Trackday in about 2 weeks so will test them properly!

@@TimWilliamsHD amazing thanks Tim. I have a shot bush so was thinking about adding these but was worried they would be too hard for daily use. You running standard top mounts still?
