It's really hard to know if someone likes you or have a crush on you. For example like me I know how to pretend that I'm not interested in my crush and I know how to act opposite of the signs the video mentioned because I don't really want them to know I like them. It's enough for me to just admire them from afar and be happy when they're happy and secretly comfort them when they're sad.

That's a really bad habit to get into..to get so used to pushing people away that you don't know how to turn it on when the time comes that you really need to. Your attempt to "play things cool" (out of fear of appearing desparate) really just ends up coming across as entirely uninterested/indifferent. So first, for the introvert part, I don't tend to talk much, I'm always on my mind, but I like to listen to others more than talking about what I'm thinking, also I kind of fear small talk because it becomes repetitive and you get out of topics too soon. Then for the shy and insecure part, whenever I try to talk more about myself or things I like, there's a voice that's always saying, "no, they're not into this topic", "sure they're bored listening to me talking about this or that", "this topic is not interesting" "I'm stuttering too much!", "what do I do?" I have someone I like and I made the first move, I messaged him on social media and I'll be honest, he didn't seem as interested but im putting myself out there more and trying to get his attention. So first, for the introvert part, I don't tend to talk much, I'm always on my mind, but I like to listen to others more than talking about what I'm thinking, also I kind of fear small talk because it becomes repetitive and you get out of topics too soon. Then for the shy and insecure part, whenever I try to talk more about myself or things I like, there's a voice that's always saying, "no, they're not into this topic", "sure they're bored listening to me talking about this or that", "this topic is not interesting" "I'm stuttering too much!", "what do I do?" "How do I keep going??", "please, make it stop!" Haha and then I have to find any excuse to get out of that situation. Haha I have serious problems! But well, I think it has to do with bad experiences I had, funny not with other people, but with my family.
So everyone has their reasons, I think it's mostly due to personality and experience, but I think we always try to improve just don't know how to :)

I have someone I like and I made the first move, I messaged him on social media and I'll be honest, he didn't seem as interested but im putting myself out there more and trying to get his attention.
