I bought the double ear x3 and the director single ear and I think they are great, just talking to one cam right now but trying to build the excitement for a full multi cam set up. Thanks for all the great advice you provide, my new worship leader has started to watch you also.
We have been using cheap double ear headsets with walk-in talkies for 2 years. I want to upgrade to these, but we keep putting it off. Maybe I need to make the jump. Thanks for the video.
We got a system of 6 + the Hub for a month already, no dropouts, good range and it gets the job done. And just like you mentioned (sound quality is poor)
Thanks a ton for putting this together! We're looking at these now for our church, and I've been looking for a video that just simply explains the pros and cons. I did have one question: Is there any latency? We tried testing Discord in our space and there is too much latency in the call between the camera operator and director.
4 receivers to one master to my knowledge. But be sure to check the recent comparison video I did to the Hollyland units ruclips.net/video/dOgjqeMkDJ4/видео.html
@@RylandRussell Thank you very much for the reply. I do not understand English well by ear, so I did not understand everything from the video. But then I turned on the subtitles)). I'm thinking about buying such a system, we have 4 operators + a director.
We have been using a 2-headset system (1 master & 1 slave) for the last couple weeks. Has anyone gone through the process of adding a headset to a system?
@@RylandRussell I was curious about that. Boating going about 50mph, there is quite a bit of wind noise and was hoping this would be able to provide easy communication with passengers

That’s awesome! Thanks Doug.
My question is 1) what’s different between double ear and single ear
Also what’s you ear set recommend for 3 cameraman and 1 director in church setting
@@customawear9438 what I stated above is what I use, Director has single ear and double ear for the crew. Makes it better for our loud worship.
its a nice video of my point of view.

Everyone keeps talking about the "master". All of mine say remote on the headset. Which one is the "master"?
how to order, Im from Philippines

Input: 100-240V ~50/60HZ 0.3A
Output: 5V - 1A
Sidetone (What do you say about your own headset?) I bought it, but I can’t hear anything, so I‘ll ask.
Hello there ! Just want to know how you record your multiview ? Thank you !
I use an old Atomos ninja star to pass the multi view though before going to the monitor screen.
What is the iPhone app you mentioned ?

No real latency with these! 👍🏻 thanks Caleb
How many Remote headsets can be paired with the Master headset?
4 receivers to one master to my knowledge. But be sure to check the recent comparison video I did to the Hollyland units ruclips.net/video/dOgjqeMkDJ4/видео.html
what's the difference between the HD version and previous version?
Tbh I didn’t realize there was two versions. 🤷🏼♂️ all I know is ours works great!
Please tell me, do these headphones work without a hub or only with it. I see that they are often sold without a hub.
I believe up to 5 without a hub work perfectly. You need the hub for more than that.

We did. There is a video somewhere from eartec showing how to pair them all. Pretty simple.
@@RylandRussell Thanks
Would this work while boating with wind interference?
Hmmm like to be able to talk to each other on a boat? I’d think no, they aren’t loud enough and wind on mics would be bad.
@@RylandRussell I was curious about that. Boating going about 50mph, there is quite a bit of wind noise and was hoping this would be able to provide easy communication with passengers
Will these work if camera operators are on the other side of a wall or in a different room?
Yep!
Hello Raylan, There are several models these models are synchronized with each other?
Which models? Like dual ear vs single ear? If it is ultralite they should be able to pair together.
Hi Ryland, we have been using these for a while now. Do you know if we can get replacement ear pads.
I’d reach out to Eartec directly. I’m sure they will help you out.
Ain´t it strange all these comm-systems are so expensive. They aren't that hi-tech!
Agreed!
