Verbal communication is the key.... texting just isn't the same.... you can learn so much about a person in a real conversation....and what's even more attractive is if you never run out of things to say to each other

Communication is extremely important , without it you have nothing to build on , You cannot get to know someone at all, Communication also builds Trust . If you do not have trust you have nothing . If a person is only willing to text beware ..They are not genuinely trying to get to know you . There is no emotion in Text.and it leaves room for misinterpretation..
In order for two people to get to know each other, they have to be able to have good communication and spend time with each other. It's not enough to comment on their podcast or channel if they have either one, have zoom or Skype meetings, or talk on the phone. The sad thing is that, there was someone at one point who was interested in me. However, he let someone else's jealousy and other challenges regarding my circumstance and his to prevent him from allowing us to have a successful connection. If a man is really truly interested in a woman, there is nothing or no one that will stop him from being with her if he is interested in her for the right reasons, mainly because God chose for the two of them to be together
This completely goes against what men have been taught for centuries. Men are not told to be emotionally invested with anyone by our male elders. Your fathers and grandfathers will look at this kind of advice as a joke. I'm not saying that you're wrong, but I'm saying that 99% of the time, young men are never ever ever told to do these things by their older mentors. So, the question is, how do we tell our older male mentors to switch up what they're telling younger men in regards to opening up to a woman emotionally?

Although, my preference is to communicate on the phone & face time & face 2 face would be ideal in getting to know. When I dated my ex, I talked with him for about 3 hours one day while dating him and he did reciprocate a times. Then it became a little less time talking over the phone but we always spoke and discussed and chatted and verbalized out wants and need YET he left me 😢, why?
As a single mom and we both work we don’t have time to talk for hours. So then what? Lol We do talk a lot when we are together and we do try to talk on the phone for a little bit every couple days and text all day.
Thank God it’s over .. he was a lier and a time waster .. he was not serious.. ladies when they show the firsts signs 🪧 let go don’t waste you’re time ! I shouldn’t have kept it going so long .. but once his lies kept coming up shown to be untrue .. it was time to go for good!
