    I have concerns about heating food in plastic, so I got the stainless steel pitcher to do soups in with my Vitamix.

    I have a Blentec at home and I’m gonna tell you that thing has been going strong for over 20 years and it doesn’t miss a lick . I have like 47,000 some thing on my counter. I noticed I’m seeing more Blendtex in the restaurants because they just work perfectly every time and you don’t need that pusher it doesn’t need it. It just does his job and the other thing I always use the white side jar. I love that thing my sister has the vita mix and she watches what I do with the Blentec and she says ma’am that’s the better machine for sure I’ve got the nut butter attachment. I can make nut butter out of my own almonds and cashews from Costco I do not need to buy nut butter. I make whole foods smoothies in it all the time and I make ice cream in it but I don’t use ice cream I use ice I use fruit and I put in a little bit of milk. I always put water in my blender enough so that everything is free.
    If you don’t like your Blendtex, give it to me please and I’ll put it in my Motorhome they are expensive

      We’re so glad you love and use your blender! It went to a good home 😊 it’s a great blender, but as you mentioned you put water so things are loose. That’s where it fails not having a tamper tool. They did come out with a twister jar but the size is not comparable to any blender, more so personal size.

    I’m looking for a blender that I can blend lemongrass , galangal, kifir leaves, garlic, turmeric and more . Which one? I have a Vitamix but it gets overheated when I blend those ingredients, inside to give it a break for few minutes and that waste of my time!

    How does the soup gets warm?
    Do you put hot soup in it?
    Or does the blender heats it up?
    Thanks for the answer😀

    • @KnowYourProduce
      @KnowYourProduce  Месяц назад

      Due to the amount of friction created the soup becomes hot. The blades are spinning so fast that it heats up the ingredients.

    I’m confused why you didn’t compare consistencies of the green smoothies? Do u mind ranking the top three if I’m primarily making kale and fruit smoothies every day and want smoothest consistency ?

    • @KnowYourProduce
      @KnowYourProduce  Месяц назад +1

      So for the smoothie, since these are all high-speed blenders aside from the ninja, they all make a really creamy smoothie and can break down all of the contents. The ninja there was still bits, but the others did a great job, the top 3 for me would be the Vitamix blenders and the Kitchenaid when it comes to consistency.

    I have never in my life decided to put an entire apple in a blender so to me and many, this part of the test really isnt relavent

    • @KnowYourProduce
      @KnowYourProduce  Месяц назад +1

      As you could see some actually did process the whole apple, so yes it’s a good test. Why? Those wider bases may not need a tamper tool for something like a bunch of frozen fruit stuck together. The ones that cannot blend the whole apple will definitely need a tamper tool or even chopping of ingredients. Also, if you go on TikTok, there’s a viral chocolate cake that is made from apples and people put a whole apple or chopped apple in their blender. So some you don’t need to prep. This is just like juicers some can use a whole apple right inside the hopper but others you have to cut it.

    What about the noise?

    • @KnowYourProduce
      @KnowYourProduce  2 месяца назад

      The noise level varies depending on what you’re blending for all of the blenders. I find that most high speed blenders are a bit louder but we also push them more than we would a regular blender.

    • @KnowYourProduce
      @KnowYourProduce  2 месяца назад +1

      I’d be happy to do a noise comparison, not sure many would listen, but definitely could do a video on it 🙂

      Nutribullet don't make a smoothie 🥤 smooth the strawberry 🍓 seeds don't blend smooth.😎

    • @bumscorchos1070
      @bumscorchos1070 3 месяца назад +1

      The reason I'm looking for a new blender is because my nutribullet just died after 1.5yrs... Also, you can't use any hot liquid/food in them.

    • @KnowYourProduce
      @KnowYourProduce  3 месяца назад

      I know they make larger blenders now, but I haven’t personally tried the nutribullet. For the best blend we do recommend spending more to have something that will last and yes that can pulverize even the seeds from berries! 😊

    Vitamix lost the patent fight with Blendtech . I don’t Suntech, where are you? Found such a puny Blendtec most most smoothie shops use Blendtec blenders.

    • @KnowYourProduce
      @KnowYourProduce  2 месяца назад

      I’d be happy to test out a newer blendtec but can’t justify the price with the results I’ve had with this one. The thing is my 5200 is my favorite and I’ve had that Vitamix (which I love and use daily) since 2012 and the blendtec since about 2015 I believe. The blendtec is “newer” than my Vitamix.

    OK, who puts a whole apple in a blender? And how many people use a blender to make soup?? I've had a complete Ninja kitchen system for years, and it does almost everything I need (full and single serve blender, food processor) at 1/5 the price of vitamix.....not a commercial kitchen...

    • @KnowYourProduce
      @KnowYourProduce  6 месяцев назад +3

      For this comparison, I did. But usually? No. It’s nice to know I can core an apple and add it in though. 😅
      As for the Ninja, we said it’s a great buy! We love the Ninja brand and have many of their products. Some do use blenders to make soups. The Ninja also performed better than Blendtec when it came to making nice cream. 👍

    • @user-bj8zq2lb1z

      I do. I put whole fruits and veggies in my Vitamix to make smoothies, I don’t cut them. I make ice cream and sorbets. And yes, I make the most delicious hot soups in 5:45 seconds, no need to transfer it to the pot. Glad you are happy with yours.

    • @KnowYourProduce
      @KnowYourProduce  Месяц назад

      @user-bj8zq2lb1z so glad you love your vitamix too! This is exactly why we did a whole apple! Because we know that some people don’t like to chop up their vegetables and fruit. It does take time and you can really reduce that amount of prep time by having a blender that’s can handle the tasks you throw at (well in) it. 😊
