- The GSX-R1000R is finally coming together and in this latest installment the Brock's Performance Predator titanium exhaust is installed weighed and sound tested. I also compare weight and sound to the already light and gorgeous PipeWerx decat system.

Brock's video I mentioned here, well worth a watch - • 2017 GSX-R1000 S2B: Ep...
Also worth a mention that when you remove the exhaust servo motor you will get an FI error on dash. I used the Healtech Servo removal module to clear this error

The four people that disliked cannot see the effort and time put into these videos
Thanks Rosie 👍👍
Blue Suzuki's never get old do they. They're the Ying to the Yang of Kawasaki's green, or Honda's Red or Yamaha's yellow.
The welds on the Brock gear are amazing, nice engineering
From nearly stock to Brock ! Love this generation of Gsxr.
No substitute for a full system, sounds amazing.
You have been improving your format as well as execution so much over the time....👍 congratulations..
Thanks Joe 👍👍
That intro is 🔥!!! Love the full system sounds incredible. Brock’s is the way to go!
I’ve watched the “stock to brock” for the gsxr1000 episodes on youtube really clever guy. 204bhp here we come!
They both sound good but the Brock is a deeper growl, if it has the pop on the over run that will top it off. Lovely.
Brocks sounds very meaty, for the WIN.
In my opinion its not worth 1400 quid for a slight difference in sound and a slight gain in performance, unless you got it for free :)
@@darts-multiverse Who cares about the rules on the street anyway? Also, why would you spend 3 grand on CF wheels and then complain about a full system being too expensive. You can get the best air filter on the market and this exhaust (with stainless steel headers + titanium muffler) for 1.1k from Brock's website. Why buy a sports bike if you're going to moan about wasting money on things that improve the bike? I don't understand.
@@darts-multiverse Well that's just it isn't it? You live in Germany where you have much tighter regulations (TUV) on modifying your vehicles. What's illegal for you, is perfectly legal (or at least a grey area) in other parts of the EU. With regards to CF wheels, I agree with respect to cars, but on bikes any increase in power, or decrease in overall weight offsets the power:weight ratio by a larger amount. So, wheels, exhaust, filter, ECU mapping etc. any little (albeit expensive) improvement is more bang for buck. Saludos.
Hmm, you just don't have fine taste otherwise you would say its worth it.
Its artwork, performance, and amazing sound. If you own a bike of this caliber, then you pony up for these kinda things
Cable tie as spring puller - genius!! Awesome vid chops 👍🏻
Thanks Nigel
or get a spring puller :D
LoCk3H clearly! 🙄
For an exhaust that costs that much you’d have hoped they would have included a spring puller eh
@@sjparki haha ya even my lextek one did :D but I'd take a brocs over that though.
My old Leo Vince slipons came with a tool to install/remove the springs ;)
Nice little tip to use a ziptie if you don't have a puller tool though!
same here leo vince full system they supply the spring fitting and remove tool in the box
Think I'd be for the Brocks Chops. Look forward to hearing it out on the roads!! Awrabest mate. 😉👍
Both sound good, I prefer the meaner brocks sound. Nice exhaust and video! All these euro-rules have gone a bit far, our bikes aren't diesel lorries. Cat on a bike is a bit too much madness if you ask me.
Agreed!! It's crazy
Sounds much better! Please do post a video on how it runs & if the Hilltop mapping compensates adequately, we have a common interest there.
Yes sure will do, hoping to get out on it shortly for a quick test!
Looks and sounds better than the other system and you have weight savings , plus more power! I had a full Yoshimura system on my Hyabusa and it was awsome!
Sounds great and looks a lot nicer IMO.
Class mate....loved it 🤝 went to buy a gsxr125 last year and do my cbt but my works van broke down and needed a new engine🤦♂️....so this summer il get the gsxr 125 and hopfully soon after the 1000, and these videos are getting me excited mate....cheers 👍
sounds better before you started with the brocks on,always had gsxr,s the deeper the sound the more people frown, which is a good thing when it comes to these things(in my opinion).anyway brocks for me.
Thumbs up for the brocks system meaty.
Back to some real bikes at last 😜.. 😂 Only playing. Another great video. I think I actually prefer the look and sound of the pipewerx to be fair. Brocks stuff never looks that exciting but functionally very good, they always do well on the dyno. Definitely get why you got it. 👌
The pipewerx was great and good value plus sounds very nice. Also nice to try something different from the normal yoshy/ akro systems. If it sounds as good as the pipewerx I'm happy
@@LambChopRides yeah totally get it bud. I think it does sound as good just a tad less raspy. I'm a sucker for a raspy can 🤤. Yeah I was surprised you didn't slap a yoshi on it they are the go to can for a gixxer
Nicely done. Like the zip tie tip. Nice deep throaty tone in the end. Sweet
Thanks matey 👍👍
Looking and sounding much better 🏍
Sounds 100x better with the Brock's full system
Pricey but looks good and sounds ‘sharper’ to me. What a ball ache having to drain the coolant and move the rad to fit. Enjoy 😀
Don't envy all the fettling involved but it'll be (even more of) a beast when you get all the aftermarket goodies on. I'm still quite surprised you liked it so much to the point you bought one lol. Although glad you did, I love GSXR's & can't wait to see yours evolve.
Thanks Rage, it really surprised me! Never expected to own a full on sportsbike again tbh 👍
@@LambChopRides Good on you, at least one last sports bike hurrah hey lol. There's something about the character of Suzuki's that has always appealed to me. They're often raw, not the prettiest, best made or class leading but there's a kind of emotive purity about them..... I've got to go, there's something in my eye. ; )
Yes yes like how the end can swings up higher. If you can't find a mount which I doubt, even Brocks may have one, just remove the foot peg.
New system sounds a lot fruitier, me likey! 👌🏻
Both sounds great👍 But Brocks looks better on the Suzy👌
Class exhaust and gr8 editing as always 👍
Thanks for that added knowledge with the zip tie.
Both sound great but it’s all about the weight savings so Brock’s is the winner!
Whatup LC always good to see you post 👍🏻 what an awesome exhaust system the Brocks is fitting that to the gixxer for me is a definite win win looks and performance and just in the little sound clip you teased us with its sounds 🔥🔥 to.......good on you buddy 👍🏻
Thanks Adam 👍
Are you happy with the Gsxr 1000 been thinking of buying one I've always liked Suzuki and the price is a bit better then the other bikes
I went out for an hour today and bloody hell I had forgotten how mental it was! Either that exhaust has unleashed another 50 hp or I had forgotten how crazy it was. But very happy with it, stupid power for the road but amazing amount of torque for a 4 cylinder
Nice vid! Sounds #stupidfast :)
Oh it is Brock, went out yesterday and my my its shifts!! :-)
Still prefer the look of the Arrow's can that 44 teeth used...suppose there's the Yoshi headers, Arrows can route, if you want to put together your own configuration?
Love the garage series, great job again, I would probably ditch the brocks endcan and replace it with the PipeWerx can if possible, sounds alot better...
Thing is, the Brocks system is all tuned to be compatible, I’ve watched Brock’s GSXR1000R stock to Brock series, he put an unbelievable amount of time into producing a perfect system tuned exactly for the specific bike, talented and very patient guy, his you tube channel is deffo worth watching,
Nice Chops!!
She sounds vicious. Hope indeed the pop is still there, it's supposed to be nice weather this weekend ( hint, hint).
And I think 1400 for this system is cheap. Had expected more.
👍👍👍
Yes thinking about risking a quick blat this weekend.. depends how dry and salt free the roads are. I'm used to Spainish and Portugal riding weather 😂😂
@@LambChopRides spoiled by it 😂😂😂👍
Nice Bassy note👍🏻
seemed like PipeWerx sounded deeper/old school vs Brooks ... maybe because the camera was not at the same distance. Brooks looks better tho :)
Nice new video mate, the intro is really nicely done and the bike.....uff......the best suzuki made for years!!!! Wish there was a decent titanium system for the B-King.... I really like your garage videos, BUT I would not watch your bathroom tutorials, as shaving still seems to be an issue :P
Also, is Brocks and Spark the same? Because lately I have seen some systems for other bikes like the R6, which looked exactly the same (end can design), also fill titanium
Yes seems Spark manufacture this system, so maybe easier to get hold of in the UK??
@@LambChopRides it looks and sounds good no matter which brand is engraved, so who cares :)
GSXR1000R 😍😍😍
Thumbs up for the zip tie trick. i did not know that
Good job 👍. Can’t wait to see and hear it on the road 😎
Thanks Gaz 👍
The Brock's sounds lot better very good video chops .thanks danny
EARGASM!!! 😍
Bloody hell chops that sounds nice, are you going the whole hogg and getting the Brocks ECU changes as well. Did you watch Brocks extensive series of videos on the GSXR 1000 L7? The throttle body openings was really interesting stuff.........Cant wait for the power test
I thought that you had the Hilltop's re-map that was supposed to be self learning? Or have I missed something?
Brock's for me chops!
Great video 👌🏻👌🏻
Old metal coat hanger bent into a hook at one end handle the other for the springs pal😉👍
Never been sure about Brock’s & also looked tiny so thought it would be mega loud. Actually surprised looks amazing & sounds pretty good not too much louder if anything?
Unmistakable gsxr noisy engine my K5 sounded exactly like this
Yeah really not much in it volume wise. Real test will be underload on the road of course. Hope to bring that vid ASAP 😎😎
Look forward to it chops! Exhausts are such a big deal for me as I do a lot of track days. My s1000 failed twice last year with a full length arrow
Looks good, sounds great! Can’t wait to see the pipes after you have run them for a while. Are there any legal problems with pulling the CAT out in the UK? Great vid Chops.
Peace!
Well officially yes, at 3 years old bike needs an MOT inspection and in theory it will fail without a CAT. But friendly MOT inspector normally passes it
You really loved that pipewerx, it was like watching a breakup 😆
Haha 😂😂
Wow that sounds gorgeous 😍
Great technical vidio- nice rounded sound from Brocks
$1000 fine in California, but worth it. Whats a quid?
I will take a arrow or akraprovic or yoshi above all other brands
I've got a mix on my Honda CBR11XX
TSR titanium header and a titanium Ladybird Tri-oval silencer. Arrow, Akra, and Yoshi don't make full systems anymore for the Bird so I had to improvise.
Arrow heads with a good-sized Leo Vince silencer. Leo traditionally has produced some pretty awesome tone on their larger canisters over the years. Just have to pair them up with a header.
brocks system win hands down but don't you get a fi light by removing the exhaust valves ?
Yes you do and good point! I already had a Healtech module to clear the light.. dam should have mentioned that
Loved your Magic Trick, Chops 😂😂😂
Sounds awesome and bike looks good too 😃😃
Bike looks and sounds great.
Love the cable tie top tip 👍
You really are working in the wrong genre Chops, you’d make a good pantomime dame! Can we see more of the magic blanket please???😜😜😜👍🏻😎
haha, I can see Womble in a wig as my assistant, could try the cutting him in half trick with my angle grinder... hehe
Lamb Chop Rides Now that I would pay to see! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏
Hey Chops how tall are you again? You kept this bike still along with your Kawa and rejected the new S1KRR M sport? I am 6'2" so thinking as a road and occasional track bike the BMW would fit better and be more comfortable? I like the Tuono but its borderline size wise.
I'm 6'2 buddy 👍 No I sold this to buy the H2, couldn't afford both unfortunately
Brocks is da shit period. No matter what bike.
Did I hear Mr Chops say there was a steel baffle in there.. WHY?! take them out 😂
No I mean the central core baffle, don't worry the DB killer came out first job 😂
Aaah thats ok I was worried for your sanity for a minute there! Normal service can now resume 👌 great vid as always mate.. im still watching them all but usually on my xbox on the telly so its a pain in the cock to comment, and im back on the phone today 👍
Your a star thanks mate 👍
I quite prefer the sound of the original pipe over the Brocks
Clown
great tip with the tie raps bud
Definitely love the brocks
Back in the 70s/80s didn't all our in-line Fours sound like that ;-)
Kerker on Z1 900 no baffles 1013 with ported heads and cam. BETTER
From stock (Werks) to Brock!
Cool choice.
Thanks mate, nice to try something different too 👍
@@LambChopRides Yes.
In this case different for the better.
Brock´s knowledge and know-how is great.
awesome exhaust
well done👍
brocks😍😍😍
Lovely system
Looking good buddy. Just need some good weather, it’s warm and sunny here in Cambridge but the roads are covered in salt still 😬
Yeah that's the problem, would be out tomorrow if it wasn't for the salt. Roads just don't dry either do they.. don't want to salt the bike up again tbh, can wait a few more weeks as hopefully almost out of this cold weather! 🤗
Lamb Chop Rides, I’ve just sold my Monster 1200S which was never ridden in bad weather, still have the Africa Twin which I use everyday and the 300TPI, going to the Excel show tomorrow to maybe choose my next Bike, although still dreaming Ducati will launch the V4 Streetfighter in Oct 😜
Yeah V4 streetfighter would be awesome 🤩🤩 enjoy the show, wish I had made arrangements to go now.. Mrs has jobs planned for me now haha
KILLER!
Result👍
Cool video
Sounds nice !
Did the exhaust valves rattle up through the rev range as well as at idle ?
Best get out chops it’s spring or feels like it 👍😂
The yoshi cans come with a spring puller. Think of the environment chops! All those wasted ties 🙁
Yes good point, think all exhaust should!!
@@LambChopRides Get some re-usable zip ties! Win Win!
@lambchop if you can find a way to get me an address I've got a spare you can have
Great video great bike but for me personally old exhaust sounded better. Brocks is louder. 😁 😁 😁
Wipe it down with WD40 helps the titanium go even bluer!
Simon Sez : they both sounded good chops; next time you've got £1400 to burn, give me a shout, I'm sure I've got an empty pocket somewhere 😂😁😂👍
Another great video LCR..what editing software do you use?? I want to be able to blur my speedo on my s1000rr for obvious reasons.. I've just bought a drift camera and mic.. so want to save parts of my ride outs with the lads on a weekend..
I use Sony Vegas 16, any version is good though. Used to use Sony Studio which is much cheaper. Bluring speedo is a real pain mind, manual process
b
The Bike Perv Buy a polarising filter for your camera and put a piece of polarising film over the speedo at the correct orientation to the filter on your camera and it blank the speedo out relative to the camera but you can still read it with your eyes
I actually prefer the sound of the pipewerx haha
Pretty sexy pipes there chops
Thanks matey, not test ridden them yet so hoping not to loud! Has a DB killer to add worse case
@@LambChopRides I'm sure you'll be happy! It's hard to appreciate the sound on youtube, difficult to record the audio as we well know. Would love to do it on my bike, but that particular avenue of pleasure is highly illegal here! I got 3 points and 280 euro fine for ridding with no db killer, which was a right kick in the gallbladder! Why is it so easy in the UK? You have euro4 too, but no one seems to give a monkey's what you do to your bike.
Bloody hell mate that is a shocker! Yeah thankfully police here are not too worried about noise.. yet anyway! It not offensively loud and don't think it's going to be that droney loud, sound crisp still
@@LambChopRides yeah ze roozers love checking for that kind of stuff, here it's heavily enforced. You'd need to be careful with that, when you come over and ride the black forest, although you're a tourist in theory you still need to abide by the road laws of the country you're visiting. Worst case and if the roozer was having a bad one, he'd impound your bike. Sorry to put a downer on it, but too loud exhausts are probably up there with the most heavily enforced laws.....the sods!
Lamb Chop Rides Did the piper werx slip on come we it the decat pipe or did you have to buy seperately?
Hi LCR, new sub from watching MF on Torro tours, I hope I don't do you a dis-service but whether your on coms with other bikes or a you-tube video, man you so sound like Keith Huewen from MotoGP when he used to commentate, in sound only of course, ATB Wayne.
Hi Wayne, you know your not the first to say that but I really don't see it myself.. I used to watch when he was on so know the voice . Being compared to one of the great MotoGP commentators I can live with that 😁😁
Love it
Sounds nice! I highly recommend the 2 brothers full system.
Get the. Kerkerheader
Where did you get the rear tyre hugger?
Want to save yourself from the expense of a new pipe and tune? Rev the bike 1000rpm higher than normal. Modern stock pipes sound good at idle, which matters the most.
@650ib BROCKS IT!
Cmon chops, no one ever complained about it being tight 😂😂
Awsome vid and gixxer videos :)
Team Brock for me too (depending on quickshifter poppage). 'Beautiful piece(s) of Ti kit, but I hope you got a hefty discount on that bloody hefty price, Chops. Oh, and get yersel a proper spring puller tool ya tight bugger! Cable ties indeed... 😜
What cable ties work great 😉
brocks all the way :)
What is the frame sliders brand??
