The bike was broken in through a heat cycle process. The same way we and all race teams do on there race bikes. Just because the bike doesn't have any miles doesn't mean it doesn't have a lot of run time. We have been working with breaking the bike in weeks before this video.

Brocks performance has a gsxr 1000 that is running 8s in the quarter on mr12, bolt ons, rider mod. These bikes perform at the track. You cant buy a bad bike these days. They're all amazing machines. It displays that the rider is the most important mod you can do to a bike which is true. Some guys have all the bells and whistles and cant ride so it does him no good until he masters the craft of racing itself to maximize the bikes full potential.
Had my 15' GSX-R750 FT ECU tuned by a GPmoto engine builder and one thing I can say for sure is that at least EVERY Suzuki needs a fuel/ign tune. The factory tune wasn't even as smooth as after a day of dyno and street tuning. Another MUST for Brembo equipped Gixxers is a Brembo 19 RCS Master Cylinder. Galfer Wave Slotted Race rotors had more bite than stock too. Along with Core SS lines and EBC pads the brakes were so good I wanted to use them more.
I love Suzuki GSXR’s I’ve owned (2) gixxer 1000CC bikes. Probably the best riding and sounding street bike around. Not to mention, reliability is so good! These are well built Japanese machines! My current is a 2007 GSXR 1000, all original and in mint show room condition! I baby it. And it is my daily driver!
Damn...why did I watch this. I really, really miss my 750. Some jacckass nearly killed my wife & I by hitting us head on trying to beat a light back in 05. Had just paid off the bike a week earlier. Hurt even more when I saw it all mangled up in a junkyard a month later after getting out of the hospital. It was an awesome ride and beautiful bike. I liked the 03 headlight/fairing style better than a few of the newer ones though. If you want to donate that bike to charity I'll send you my address! Some of mine, and her, best memories was blasting up into Rocky Mountains going to bike meets and events. Even got to meet a childhood hero-Suzuki team rider Kevin Schwantz. Got some pics with him and his black Lab. A great guy. That was at Suzuki-fest. When it was over, us and a hundred other riders riding back down I-70 twistin our way back down to denver. In 1990 we got a L Model 1100 which ran 125+HP which was a fast bike of its day, then in 2003 due to nostalgia I picked up a perfect ‘93 N Model, smoothest bikes every ridden but not as aggressive as modern bikes, that was the same year I got the last E2 ZX9R and the end of my race bikes, running 158 on the back wheel with two mods only, coils and retarder.! This thing was stupid aggressive in a acceleration from 100 to 190 it ripped the R1 and K4 my friends owned, startling performance, and ZX10R was even more demanding.! This just shows you the Horse power increases over the last 30 years and still being completely reliable for everyday Road riding...

All these people crying about breaking in, yes every engine gets run time out of the factory and none of the modern engines really need a breaking in, they are only required for warranty purposes and in the unlikely event that an engine is assembled wrong, you'll not be pinning it and killing yourself.

The area under the power line is very critical, much like a V8 centrifugal blower with 800hp vs a well built V8 twin turbo with 800hp. The centrifugal tend to have a very linear power line were as the turbo will have almost a radius power curve. Well in the perfect world that is 😂
I have an older ZX-10R race bike on MR12 recently built Supersport engine with race ECU etc. making 185 at the wheel - i love how a you can basically take a bike out off the showroom floor and, slap an exhaust on it, flash the ECU and make teh kind of power I had to pay $$ for. (not to mention the cost of MR12 per gallon/pail) - NICE
Finally someone who says a smart truth “peak horsepower isn’t always the most important”. The area under the curve can be more important, especially for riding on the street where you don’t want to alway have to be screaming over 10K RPM.
Brand new GSXR no miles on the dyno??? Help me out here. I'm only 80 years old been riding bikes since Lincoln was in office LOL never heard of this always willing to learn when I had my 83" Sportster we put miles on it before we took it to the drag strip 'course that was in 67 and I'm stuck in the 50's help me out here I watch your videos great stuff. The bikes come from Japan all restricted and de-tuned so when you get them home the tune gives up 20-30hp just by opening up the fuel and throttle blades... To create a propper map file for the ECU it's hardly possible to do so without being on a Dyno and using a exaust gas analysizer. My 2018 gsxr1000r picked up 30hp just from a tune!!! With throttle by wire your throttle grip can be full throttle but the ECU based control of the throttle body valve may actually only be open to 30-40%! So this is all done for the performance factor
Dwight, i agree with you. Back in the day we broke our bikes in first. Today everything pretty much comes clearenced ready to twist that throttle, Im not a big fan of that Dyno number. Real world seat of the pants always shows a different outcome. Having a Dyno sheet is a great conversation piece at the water cooler on Monday's. Ive found through out my life. The guys with the big number dyno sheets on Monday were usually not the guys with the trophies. I'm just saying!

Looks nice, but I can’t believe a stock gixxer 1000 is only putting out 150BHP My 2017 CBR 1000 SP did 171 on the dyno after we replaced the muffler, and everyone says the Honda is underpowered but it’s more than I can handle.

Chris, what do you suspect the Brock's Penta-carbon is adding to in HP in reality? The reason I ask is, I went from 172.4 to 196.8 (same dyno, different mods) and I am still running the stock headers and exhaust. So despite the bike, the tune, the other contributing mods, what do you suspect a Penta-carbon full exhaust could yield in average HP over current HP with a good tune? A conservative estimate is acceptable.

Was at a trackday last year (road with turns) A guy brought a new R1, Zero Miles and took it straight to the road course for break in. Rather ballsy for sure... A good environment with lots of up down shifts etc
2020 gsxr is still the same of mine's 18 and 19's tuned using woolich racing , is a war machine but we need a new one to beat new honda and ducati as well
When you cranked it up to the upper rpm's, half way through it's climb , I had the hardest woody that I have had in a LONG time. Wow!! The power it is creating is nothing short of a full blown organism. Sorry for the reference but I can't think of anything that has as much exhilarating. (Except riding and opening it up to it's full potential).
I'm confused....I was told not to go over 7000 rpm for the first 600 miles, and then get an oil change before I run it like that. You said it was 0 miles and your already tacking it out like that? Is that good for the engine?

Check out Kawasaki’s 2012 ZX6R and ZX10R models with same paint scheme. That paint combo looks so good on all bikes. I HAD the 2012 ZX6R.

I’ve ridden a lot of bikes. My old 2004 gsxr 1k was like a bullet. Handled so well and I think it’s was bc of the weight. I miss it.

Where is your shop located? I had a '17 GSXR1000 and a very unfortunate accident claimed ol' Suzie. I like what you're doing with the grudge bike and am interested in doing it to mine. Also, is the flush mount turn signals factory on the '20? My '17 had those ugly ogre ear looking signals.

Chris, what do you suspect the Brock's Penta-carbon is adding to in HP in reality? The reason I ask is, I went from 172.4 to 196.8 (same dyno, different mods) and I am still running the stock headers and exhaust. So despite the bike, the tune, the other contributing mods, what do you suspect a Penta-carbon full exhaust could yield in average HP over current HP with a good tune? A conservative estimate is acceptable.
Suzuki breaks in their engines before putting them on sale ? Or am I missing something?
We broke it in through a heat cycle process.

@@TeamMooreMafia yeah because when I heard you say it has no miles on it, I was thinking I highly doubt you'll do a dyno run without the engine not being broken in.
Was at a trackday last year (road with turns) A guy brought a new R1, Zero Miles and took it straight to the road course for break in. Rather ballsy for sure...
A good environment with lots of up down shifts etc

2020 gsxr is still the same of mine's 18 and 19's tuned using woolich racing , is a war machine but we need a new one to beat new honda and ducati as well
When you cranked it up to the upper rpm's, half way through it's climb , I had the hardest woody that I have had in a LONG time.
Wow!! The power it is creating is nothing short of a full blown organism. Sorry for the reference but I can't think of anything that has as much exhilarating.

I'm confused....I was told not to go over 7000 rpm for the first 600 miles, and then get an oil change before I run it like that. You said it was 0 miles and your already tacking it out like that? Is that good for the engine?
