    My first client happened so suddenly I was unprepared for the onboarding process and had to figure out the process on the fly, over facetime with my client. He was using an older computer so his meta business suite was completely different from mine. It was stressful but we got through it. I do believe mindset is important. Do you think it would be useful to go back study the fundamentals of branding in order to get real results for clients? It seems like you can run ads all day but if they don't have a well established brand all it is is link clicks and reach that don't become anything.

    I've been doing tons of research regarding starting a smma. My biggest question is the requirements for my state (Arizona). I keep seeing pages telling me to file a DBA and also get an EIN #. Is this necessary right away? All videos I watch of smma owners never discuss any of this.

    I have a few questions as a "noob". First, I am not proficient enough in ads, SEO, building websites or any of the generic agency services to start fulfilling a client's order immediately without having to figure out large portions of it as I go. Would it be unwise to get a client by impressing them with theory if you will, and THEN figure out how to fulfill the order practically? Would a "pro" do market research into his niche, and discover the problems and pain points FIRST, and then bird-dog-it and pick up those skills SECONDLY necessary to solve said problems?
    I ask this question because why spend time early on developing a skill, like learning how to do Google or Facebook ads, if that may not even be the best service suited to meet the needs of one's respective niche? Thanks for any help in advance.

    • @ItsKeaton
      @ItsKeaton  2 года назад +2

      Yeah you’ve got the right idea!! This is how I would do it.
      1) Pick a Niche
      2) Research and form a hypothesis on best service to provide. Find someone who can teach you this skill as you go
      3) Work for free for 1 client
      4) Work for cheap for clients 2-5 (this gets you comfortable)
      5) Hire someone with more experience to do the fulfillment for you for clients 5+
