      Haha man I know. But thank you bud I appreciate that. I want it done as much as Im sure the viewers do. So many plates I'm spinning and financially, we just play it carefully...so I put what I can when I can into the lil 79.

    I used a miter saw with an aluminum blade, ran 3” inlet/ outlet intercooler to 2.5 Amazon kit, routed inside the inner fender wells, worked great, Jobber Do bead roller

    Broskie a soft tube for any piping will lead to a collapsed tube

    • @HOUSEOFDULA
      @HOUSEOFDULA  Год назад +1

      Could, yes, I had this issue with the 86, but it has more to do with the tubes ply / layers. That tube to the throttle body is what comes with stock 2.3L ecoboost mustangs and it works with them...but I had the same thought as you from experience with my 86 and on3 setup.

    Cool channel, I am building a 2.7 Ecoboost f150 currently and just finished a Optima 2.0T. I want to suggest you rethink the location of the IC behind the Bumper Bar, it will restrict air flow, or so I have been told. Subscribed. Enjoyed the Video. GG in Tn

      Hey Grag. Thank you bud. I appreciate it. I LOVE seeing these EcoBoost swapped into other fords. I saw a 3.5L swapped into a '68 F100 that was just rad. As far as the IC goes, there really is no other place to put it, but, the IC is in the same location as my 86 with a 70mm on3 turbo, and it works really well. I'll be able to monitor the air temp differential when its running and see if I have any restrictions. Thanks for the SUB and the comment man, glad to have you part of the HOD family.

    Great video! New subscriber here. This channel is way underrated unlike that other “Fox” channel, you actually show how to do things and explain, and your videos are longer than 5-7 minutes. Thanks for sharing!

      I really appreciate that, and welcome to the family! Its one of those things, the long drawn out explanations is appreciated by folks needing that specific info, but for the average youTube viewer, they have an attention span of 5-7 minutes lol So I lose a lot of viewers for that reason but don't care....MOST dont want to hear all the talking, but its my way of doing and I'm not giving in ;) So I appreciate hearing that folks still want to hear the long details. Anyway glad to have you.

    Does AJE make the 1” shorter tubular A arms? That could help you get the concave wheels you’re looking for to fit.

    • @HOUSEOFDULA
      @HOUSEOFDULA  Год назад

      Yessir I think they do! Wheels are on order and waiting...they are not however as concave in the front.

    Great progress on the car. What gear will you use in the rear end? The V8 T5 doesn't have ideal ratios for a 4-cylinder. I'd also be curious to know how much this car weighs when it's done.

    • @HOUSEOFDULA
      @HOUSEOFDULA  Год назад

      Right now It's getting 3.73's. Should be more a trial and error thing....we'll see. But YES this car will be very light! I plan on weighing it when done.

    Why not cut the ford tube on the throttle body side around the ford part # sticker?

    • @HOUSEOFDULA
      @HOUSEOFDULA  Год назад +1

      Because it has a slight taper, and I really didnt want to put in another sleeve. I think I'll just have the IC to Throttlebody pipe made once the project is wrapping up.

    Nice work man! I really enjoy watching your creative workarounds. That bead roller did a great job honestly. I have a suggestion on your TB sizing issue. You talked about fabricating a 3” inlet but the coupler was too big. You could cut and put a sleeve inside about .75” wide to fill the void. Once clamped it would fine. Just a thought. Looking forward to it sitting on some wheels. 👍👍

    • @HOUSEOFDULA
      @HOUSEOFDULA  Год назад +1

      Thanks man, yeah thats a great idea. I think at this point I want to wrap the build up and get it on the road, I know there will be changes and tweaks down the road! maybe even an all hard pipe kit and larger turbo (e85, who knows). But yeah that bead roller put a larger bead that it had! may not be straight but worked fine.

    You have know idea how much your videos are helping me with my build any idea how you’re gonna run the stock map sensor that’s normally on the stock intercooler???

    • @HOUSEOFDULA
      @HOUSEOFDULA  Год назад

      Man I really appreciate hearing that. So I dug into this, good question. The harness for the ford control pack does not have a connector for the intercooler, Ive checked and double checked the manual. It has a connector for it, but the MAP sensor on the intake manifold. Turns out the ecBoost mustangs has 2, its main MAP (actually MAPT, manifold absolute pressure & temperature), and a turbo boost sensor on the intercooler. The control pack looks to do away with the one on the intercooler.
