So helpful as usual. Can you please talk about what to do when the tummy is bigger than the bust? As without the bust, the fabric doesn't have a point to hang from except the tummy.

Love the multi-colored pant outfit! This is significantly better looking than the pink one piece jumpsuit (which from my cell phone screen looked like Cat was wearing pajamas).

I totally didn’t think I could actually wear a jumpsuit and then I saw the Short clip about the jeans jumpsuit. It was £330 which is out of my price range so I looked online and Joe Browns via Next have a jumpsuit. I ordered a size up and it arrived today - it looks amazing!!!!!! Thank you Melissa

Great video! I have a similar body except I’m much shorter! Another challenge.
Everything is harder when you’re smaller in height, you have to work extra hard - I know that all too well as I’m only 5ft 3 myself!

we have exactly that shape covered on our Personal Styling For yourself Course - she's a UK size 6, straight up and down. x
That’s model shape, well I know it from my younger self. The wide shoulders are great. Small bust is very flattering and easy to dress. She is only interested in hourglass shape but there is no need for it. High necklines crew necks are most elegant and everything el3gant is open to your body shape. Hourglass big busts etc are a dressing nightmare.

You could try the silicone ones to see if they stay in better or, if you know you need it with a particular top just sew them in.

Is a body class for tall (6") and not so slim (14/16) ladies planned? I would hope so. Because I feel frills and ruffels look on a tall woman like a ballet dress on an elephant 😅
If a volunteer comes along like that then yes but i'm beholden to whoever applies i'm afraid. I have done a 6ft size 12 and in our Personal Styling For yourself Course theres a 6ft size 22 lady.
I saw that class and I could definitely find some good tips. I would love to apply but it's not so easy jumping over from Germany. So lets hope another tall one volunteers.

Another great video. Kat looked amazing. I get tips from all body shapes. I’m 5ft 3, biggish boobs, hourglass, pearish with a tummy. 🤦♀️ I would be really interested to hear any tips on tiers on dresses (I dress-make so can be selective and currently trying to decide). On Kat you commented flatter around tummy and one tier lower down. Do you think that is preferable to maybe more tiers, or just not too much volume- if that makes sense. I frequently watch you video’s repeatedly when dressmaking. Very helpful on styles. Thanks
If you’re pearish with a tummy then a drop waist style like I was wearing is the most flattering.

What makes you think they don’t look nice when sitting down? Comfort is key so if they couldn’t sit down in them then we wouldn’t dress them in them!
Beautiful work once again, MM. I have one reservation though: the green dress outfit. The trainers and the shoulder bag just came across very frumpy to me, what we call a “bag lady” look in the US. I would have chosen a heel of some kind and nix a crossbody bag. I’ve always thought the cut through a large chest just draws attention to it. Just my view!
That's ok to have your view as styling is so personal. From our point of view a heel would make it look old fashioned... x

Thanks for a lovely video. I've learnt so much from you and it's helping me get my confidence back now I'm no longer a size 8 after kids! Quick question. I try and balance my shoulders with frilly sleeves, puffy upper arms red but struggle then when I need a cardigan on top when it gets a bit colder. Any suggestions? Many thanks.
That's why you have multiple items of the same colour way in your wardrobe. I must have 15 white tops - some have puffy sleeves, some are flat (so I can wear layers with them), some are short sleeve, some long sleeve. The key is that they're all in the same neutral colour so I can dress for whatever the occasion or weather throws at me.

the colour won't suit me, but that jumpsuit is extremely flattering and flattens the stomach areas for us with hormonal stomachs, great find; more like these, please :)

Love all your videos ❤. I am 51, have a smaller waist size 4-6 with a 36ddd bust. I would love to see some outfit ideas for a smaller waist larger breast size . It is so difficult finding tops that don’t accentuate a muffin top or tops that don’t look like a maternity too because the waist disappears. I still like to look stylish and classy but also comfortable casual for running a business from home. Please help 😢. Thank you!

Very few on the high street i'm afraid. John Lewis have a small range so do New Look and river island but i'm afraid our highstreet stores don't represent the plus size very well at all, sorry.

The orange jumpsuit is a net color but I think it appears too tight. I have a large bust compared to the rest of my body and this is a common problem. I will not wear anything that looks too tight across my chest/stomach because it just makes me look bigger.
That’s exactly what we were saying - it was too tight! That was the point of showing you!

Would never wear a pantsuit, my problem is I work from home, one day in office, rest of the time steelcaps become my footwear. But now realise why the tiered dress works, am same shape, size, just a bit taller, body is normal length.
yea a plus size model. However, as a plus size myself, I notice she is all bust with slim hips and legs. So aften the larger sizes relate to this shape. I'm the other shape, Small bust, large hips and very large legs. any way it's not a critisism and it's so good to see what the clothes look like on a bigger size.
That's fine, all you need to do is build the volume up on your bust and shoulders and you'll look lovely and balanced. I have done a body shape masterclass with a lady with your shape and she was a UK 22/24. If you click on my logo then the 'video' tab you'll see all of my videos in one long list. Hope that helps.
I too am a size 18 but pear shape. I have sagging skin right below my elbow and above! My mom always called them Angel Wings. I am self conscious and don’t wear short sleeves. Always 3/4 or long sleeves. Are there other options?
Of course, just search for similar items with longer sleeves - there’s loads out there x
What about 3/4 bell sleeves? Or somewhat sheer tops worn over a cami or matching thin long sleeved T-shirt?
